Embiid was off. I’m sure the knee was a factor but his demeanor was crap all game.  Not sure why they kept feeding him late.  He showed no signs of coming around

Because he is your superstar

Because everyone else was missing shots too

Harris and curry also completely disappeared in the second half and you aren’t giving Simmons the shot at the end. You live and die with embiid.

He missed a layup a foot away from the basket.

I get he’s our superstar but it was clear he wasn’t in the right mindset tonight.  I get it.  It’s admittedly after the fact.  He just sucked offensively

Like I just said. Curry was hitting all first half. He attempted 2 shots in the 4th quarter including the last one that would of tied it. Where was he

Don’t laugh but they missed Danny Green. Kork was a putrid -17 tonight. Gotta start Thybulle next game.
edit: -13 but the point still stands.

Hill was brutal also

We need more Shake and Doc needs to lay into Ben again

Yup this is what i feared going into game 4. I get the sense they thought the series was over after beating atlanta in game three and going up 18 and figured atlanta was done and they would just win the game. Championship teams finish the freaking job. The Suns against a lesser opponent finished the job and ended it. Instead the sixers allowed a team down 2-1 and 18 at home to win a game and give them new life in the series.

Paul made sure the Suns didn't slip. Sixers don't have that type of guy

Honestly that’s really the bigger loss of green imo. Offense and defense can be inconsistent but him out there in a game like this is actually something they miss. Maybe they still lose but i feel like his playoff leadership was definitely missed.

Holy Brett brown flash back in the second half

embiid was 0-12

simmons scored 3

only 12 FGs in the second half

you wanna see the city really freak out watch them say embiid isn’t playing game 5 due to his knee lol.

We Suck GIFs | Tenor

Really hope embiid destroys him in game 5

Yeah not good. So we wasted a 39 point performance  in game 1 and 18 point lead in game 4. Feels like if his knee starts really bothering him those two games will be costly

Re-watched the game, that felt eerily similar to when i watched the clippers last year in the bubble. They routinely go up double digits on the nuggets and blow the game then the series 3-1. That’s how they played in that series and that what that game looked like tonight.

tell me this excerpt from the game 7 of nuggets/clippers doesn’t sound like our game tonight

With the Clips up seven after a minute in the third quarter, Denver went on a 24-9 run over the following nine-plus minutes and went into the fourth up 82-74 after a Monte Morris buzzer jumper, outscoring L.A. 28-18 in the quarter. Then the Nuggets scored the first seven points of the fourth to go up 15 on a Murray 3-pointer 89-74. It took 2:33 for L.A. to even score in the final period and an astounding 7:02 to make a field goal in the fourth quarter with its season on the line, trying to avoid an all-time choke job in the series.

L.A. managed just 33 second half points and was outscored 22-15 in the fourth, an unreal choke job by the Clippers, a team that didn’t really seem to want to win this game and face the Lakers in the conference finals. The lack of urgency, hunger and drive this team showed in Game 7 was simply astounding.

Los Angeles should not have been playing in Game 7. Up 19 with 22 minutes left in Sunday’s Game 6, Denver came storming back and won by 13. This was after the Nuggets came back from down 16 in Game 5.

There was a point during the game when the crowd was booing Embiid. That he looked up and said stfu to the crowd. Acknowledging the crowd is never a good sign imo

With doc rivers no opponent is out of a series

Rivers can't make the shots for them. The "stars" of the team had wide open shots that they blew.

You must be new to watching the nba. Embiid feeds off crowd noise whether good or bad.

they'll probably still win this series but their season is pretty much done, imo. embiid isn't healthy & they need him at close to 100% to beat the bucks/nets & whoever comes out of the west. he had no lift, energy, or stamina last night. those games will be automatic losses against the remaining playoff teams. sure, they have better pieces around him...but they still don't have enough firepower to pick up the slack when jojo is out or playing a well less than 100%...and it's not like his knee is going to suddenly heal.

How did he lose stamina when we have been playing a few games the last week? Or could it have been he was playing unenthusiastically? Also, George hill is washed. I didn’t realize how slow he is now. His hands aren’t even within 4 feet of the shooter he is defending.

call it whatever you want...he had no energy & looked winded the entire game. when he plays like that in a playoff game, it's a loss.
