Harden needs like 3 games off. His shot is so flat. No lift at all in his jump. Thanks Nash.

We got him back though. The Sixers hurt Ben’s feelings so bad that he refused to get off the couch until he was traded, so he hurt his back as soon as he started working out.

STFU Lebron. Fitting that him and Russel "I always look like I’m going to cry” Westbrick are teammates.

Haslem told Butler he couldn't make it in his era. Butler told him and Spoelstra they're only relevant because of Wade.

Season ends April 10. Playoffs start April 16. Harden and Embiid will get a nice rest before the playoffs. Hopefully that helps.

That should help but I’m still finding him at least 2 maybe 3 other games to take off. Maybe closer to the end of the season when the seedings are more locked in.

The Sixers could be the 1, 2, 3, or 4 seed at this point lol and honestly.....looking at how things stand, I wouldn't mind the 3 or 4 seed honestly.

From the nets message board…

I wouldn't be totally surprised if Ben was already playing through a deal of pain last playoffs, with that affecting his performance and aggressiveness, then felt betrayed by Embiid's & whoever's comments afterwards. For sure he could have handled things better, but I could see why Simmons might have felt the way he did about not wanting to go back.

So the Sixers barely beat a Lakers team....without Lebron?

Whatever seeds miss the Nets and Celts in the first round is the seed I want.

Exactly...the 3 or 4 seed MOST likely will play either Chicago or Cleveland....hence why I want that!  I don't even want to see Toronto in the 1st round.

I knew Maxey had to be up there in 3P% by now… currently has the 8th best percentage in the league this season. Just a tenth of a point behind Seth Curry who is 7th.

So what you’re saying is next year it’s Harden-Maxey-Butler-Whoever-Embiid as the starting 5?

Yep

NYC just lifted the vaccine mandate for athletes and entertainers.

What a slap in the face of people who lost their jobs over this BS

The Nets getting bailed out just in time for the playoffs because politicians caved to baseball fans is pretty funny.

It was all about baseball. Guaranteed Steinbrenner and Cohen put IMMENSE pressure on the city to get this done.

So how's Ben doing in NY? Has he played yet?

Man, the Nets without Ben but with full time Kyrie are now a problem again.

Butler will be back in Philly next year.

I thought I read he fought with Haslem but really Spo was really coming at him.  That's crazy.  Never saw a coach going after a player like that.

I think we might go after Beal… not sure how you line up with him, beard and Maxey but I’d love to find out.

I wouldnt. Because you cant really line up with those 4 guards. None of them are really big enough to defend a SF. Also, Beal is an inefficient volume scorer, and Maxey is already better anyway, in the vast majority of statistical categories you look at.

We are past the point of taking the best talent available regardless of fit. We need to find the right pieces now, to put together a team who can mesh and win immediately. Beal is like a process era move where you are just looking to acquire assets and stars. But that era is over.

Ideally, they get a guy who can play the 3 and/or 4.

My ideas since the trade deadline have been that maybe LeBron leaves LA (and Philly seemed to be his only other real interest last time he was a free agent), even more likely probably, Butler leaves MIA. NY re-sets and trades Randle. And maybe the longest longshot pipe dream, we can swing a trade for Ingram since NO seems like a mess.

Any of those guys are a better fit with Maxey and Harden. Butler can play the 3 and co-exist with Joel. I think he would absolutely love Maxey as well.

LeBron is the combo forward we need. Can even play minutes as a small 5 at a very high level. Say what you want about his personality. I cant stand him. But Id take him to win a championship.

Julius Randle- they just paid him. Hes having a down year, and so is NY. If they want to move on from their mistake and try to start over hes really perfect. Can create his own shot. Can defend the 4 and 5. Can help space the floor. Improve rebounding...

Ingram- also can play 3/4 and obviously another shot creating scoring option.

I think the only scenario we acquire Beal is one in which this team fails miserably in the playoffs this year. And Embiid decides he and Harden arent meshing. And the 6ers can get out of dodge before paying Harden his next supermax contract.

Beal is one of Joel's boys. They are both Hanlen clients. Im sure if the Harden era fails quickly, Embiid will pull for Beal again.

But no one in their right mind is going to trade Maxey, or even move him to the bench for Beal. And I just dont think those 3 guards can all co-exist Xs and Os-wise on the court at the same time.

I can really get on board for a Harden for Beal sign and trade. And Harris + Thybulle for Randle.

Maxey-Beal-SF-Randle-Embiid

Very well balanced lineup there.

Who would they trade for Ingram
