He caught it twice in less than 2 months (delta then omicron). So obviously the antibodies don't do much of anything from one strain to the next.

if he's looking at it from a health perspective...yeah, a professional athlete in his mid-20's will almost certainly be fine if they got covid. i get that part.

but really the only reason to not get the shot so you can play (do your job for your team) is if you feel the shot would somehow have a negative effect on you. otherwise get the damn thing even if you think it's mostly unnecessary.
