Yep, it was on the top.  I do think it may have been at the bottom for a minute of it, but it was mainly at the top.  I was logged in using my phone on the safari app, if that helps.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

Oh ok, I don't know how things act on phones. I'm still using one of these...

Maybe one day, I'll set a test and have everyone tell me how it shows up for them. I'm still figuring out all of the settings and such.

I would want to re-emphasize though that I wouldn't want any members to click the ads in an effort to help the board Because unlike the affiliate links, clicking the Adsense links just to help the board would actually hurt and potentially get the board banned from Adsense.

There was a show on CSN today called High Hopes about the 93 Phils and man it is such a good watch.  I'd seen it before but forgot how much I just loved that team.  I don't even care that they lost...OK I do and F U Joe Carter but what a trip.  There is another one called Whatever it Takes Dude.  If you like the Phillies and lived through that ride I highly suggest watching both.

Speaking of videos.  The entire Buddy's Watching You tape...the making of the song is fantastic too.  Seeing those 90s Eagles mess around and rip on each other is so great.

Yeah it was at the top for me too. Took up most of the screen but when you scrolled down it collapsed to a banner at the top. Don't care much either way but if you wanted to know...

That's good to know. It was supposed to be the size of the image below... and at the very bottom of the screen.

Foles legit gives you the felling that he'd be happier in Philly than with any other team. D-Jax and Shady the same way. For a non-glamour city, players really love playing here.

Happy Memorial Day Blogsters. Remembering Nova and Sarasota Phil

Burke was featured on the Eagles piece.  He is listed as a run game coordinator.  Stoutland was also a run game coordinator.  Staley has been the RB coach.  There is also an assistant run game coordinator in Paganetti.  That is a lot of guys working on the run game.  Shall we expect the emphases on run game this coming season?  New twists in the run game?

There will be a point where Foles is clearly not an NFL starter and be a great backup somewhere until he retires. He still fairly has starter aspirations.

Soft shell crab sounds amazing right now.

Burke is the D run game coordinator.  Promotion for Pagnetti this offseason.  Duce had been the backfield motion guy. That is Sagnarello’s job now with some input from Press.  I really think Doug has tried to advance Duce but hasn’t found a niche for him other than RB coach at this time.

Need to vote in the Athletic survey on game broadcasts.

Duce also gets to run team meetings from time to time.

From Jay Glazer’s column.  I hear Dino Vasso does a good job on film breakdown  now the Assistant Pass Defense Coordinator.  Maybe he can help players with this.   Asante was supposedly great on film work.

Jay, I hope all is well. What do you think is the best thing that players can do during this time to improve their game? —Aaron S.

Really learn how to watch film. Football is a smart man’s game. The great ones can watch film and see the tiniest nuances. From how a guy lines up, how he places his hand, how he lines his right or left foot up or back, or if the heels are placed up or if the toes are faced out. You can pick up snap count, whether it’s a pass play or a run play, whether someone is blitzing, sometimes who’s getting the ball if it’s a pass play.

I’ll never forget watching a game with Ronde Barber on TV, he literally says before the snap, "This will be a 10-yard in-route to Laveranues Coles.” Sure enough, it was a 10-yard in-pattern to Laveranues Coles. I asked him how he knew that and he said when Laveranues runs an in-pattern he either raised his body in his at ace by 2 inches and his foot was lined up differently if he was going to run an in or an out. Sure enough, he was dead on. I always talk about guys knowing snap counts based on a twitch of someone’s elbow or a clap of the hand by the quarterback. I would really learn how to watch film and watch it over and over. When the snap of the ball happens, half the guessing game will already be taken out of it

I have said all along that I worry about the impact of the lis franc on Jeffrey’s game. He relies on taking high balls away from defenders.  May lose a lot of his push with that foot. Will impact cuts as well.

Does PUP have any effect on salary cap or is it strictly a roster spot that it would save?  I doubt Alshon has any on-field value at all this season.

Its roster spot only.

I am not sure if an injury settlement/ release would have any cap implications, even if they did little to no incentive for Jeffery as his salary is guaranteed.

That's what I thought, thanks.  I just see no room for him on the active roster let alone the team this year.

I suspect he goes on pup and they may activate him late in season depending on health/ performance of the WR group.

If he goes from PUP to IR are they able to activate as one of the 2 that can return from IR. I know there isnt a designation required under new rules but I am not sure if rules are different for a player starting on PUP

Jags would have been a good place for him before they messed up that team

Not sure Bears are a great option for him either. We'll see

He'll always have SB 52 though

That's only one classification of lisfranc sprains. There's a whole laundry list more of worse looking ones that he may potentially have.  We as fans don't know.

Some involve fractures.  Some involve every metatarsal bone dislocating,  absolutely gruesome.

My thought from the beginning was PUP to IR for him.

If he was in our long term we would activate him after PUP and he would be able to play.

but moving on,  no reason to take a roster spot from one of our young guys in favor of a less than 100% Jeffery who won't be here next year.

Listening to the inside the birds podcast, Reagor, like everyone else, is meeting with the coaches daily, but he’s also meeting with Doug and Howie quite a bit. They are planning on him playing the X and slot and are working with him on hand usage to defeat the press. They are planning to get him the ball in a variety of ways.

I read elsewhere that PFF charted press coverage and Xs face press between 30-50 percent of the time, but that was second hand.
