He’s compelled to, yes.

Despite the narrative some folks want to push, the Eagles don’t draft poorly as an organization.  Every team has misses in the first 2 rounds, and most teams have hits late in drafts like the Eagles have with Kelce, Kurt Coleman, Beau Allen, and even Mills (although everyone knows I’m not high on him, he’s played 4 years as a 7th round pick)

People need to remember when you win a minimum of 9 games most seasons you’re just not going to have a choice of blue chip prospects.  Everyone one here brags about how DAL drafts, but their 2019 draft class has been abysmal so far — barely any contributions at all.

The Eagles drafting between 2014 and 2018 was fairly poor. Too early to tell about 2019.

Hmm.  Feels like we've finally cut the cord.  Floating out in the ether. Anger at the faceless dismissal and marginalization of it's own fans by PE.com. But extreme gratitude for guys l

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

I put more of that on joe Douglas than I do Howie. Douglas wasn’t really concerned about athletes, and the Eagles just had the most athletic draft class in the NFL.

Even if those were howie picks, those guys contributed to a super bowl in 2017, so I wouldn’t have preferred it go any other way.

Interestingly, both Howie and Douglas drafted great athletes this year.

Maybe Douglas learned from his mistakes, because Howie’s track record always seemed to me to value athleticism.

Douglas had a strong voice and set the board, but Howie ultimately made the picks. Howie doesn’t deserve a pass and fans shouldn’t sidestep him to point the finger at Douglas.

Howie seems to always get a pass now

My guess is he’s signing just incase there’s no season.

Yikes.

That's absolute garbage.

So we’ve got one torn achilles and one concussion protocol during quarantine.  Sounds about right.

Make perfect sense.  Guaranteed money even no game.  Hard to beat.

It's at the point where even if you put these guys in bubble wrap, they'd probably get an arm injury because it was wrapped too tight.

Do NOT click on the link in that thread about canceling the season.

Just messaged @VaBeach_Eagle and told him.  Hopefully he takes it down soon.

That guy looked like he had to have been waiting for him.

Joe Dirt definitely banged his girl.

The BBC is sadly not what it once was.  The last few years have seen a steady decline in the quality of it's output and it's ability to be impartial.  It's a shame.

I'd recommend The Spectator as a more long form news organisation that has pieces from multiple perspectives.

It's gone.

I see why they had him go to the hospital

Still don't get why someone would do that. Have a feeling there's a connecting

If the last few weeks of mindless violence haven’t clued you in to the fact that people don’t need a good reason to hurt others, what will?

Touché

Horrible news for Goedert. Very physical player getting a completely unnecessary concussion. Could contribute to him losing real money in the long-run if things break the wrong way injury-wise.

He will play like a man possessed this year after that bs

Because there are alot of scumbags out there.

Think of all the bad things you've seen on the internet as far as violence.  Then just think how much happens in the world that isnt recorded on video.  Especially in other countries where law enforcement isnt as strict.

Hopefully or the opposite where he plays safe afraid of getting a concussion.
