Attn Jewish community:

Please note, we can’t be concerned about injustices against your community at this present time. If you can hang on until November 27th, we have a slot available between noon and 4PM when we can send a representative who will try and care about your problems. Please note, if this date and time is not to your liking, our next scheduled time to be concerned with injustices facing the Jewish community won’t come until February, 2021.

Sincerely,

Malcom Jenkins.

I mentioned this previously on this board, and in the past years ago on the other board.   I'm not sure Howie has ever come out and said it this plainly, but Howie is telling the truth here.

It’s not his fight. If others want to make that an issue and speak about it, then go for it. I don’t get why anyone is expecting Jenkins to do it.

Ok? That doesn't mean he has to publicly dismiss it.

Then it's not a principled fight.

He can take two seconds to say that what DeSean and malik said is wrong. And he definitely shouldn't be saying "this isn't the time for that", which is basically saying "this isn't important"

As I said last night, if someone is going to lecture others regarding societal issues, the most important trait that they need to display is moral consistently. Jenkins has none.

He has been very consistent that he wants to end police violence and call for accountability for crimes. He admitted what Desean said was wrong. There’s nothing wrong with saying let’s not lose focus on the issue at hand.

This is the same misunderstanding as the people that shout "all lives matter”. Deseans remark is 100% disrespectful but how many Jews are getting killed on the streets right now or unjustly getting thrown in jail right now? The main issue at hand right now is black lives. There’s nothing wrong with Jenkins asking people to focus on fixing that.

He literally said the comments made were wrong. Am I missing another quote or something?

Yeah, the part where he said this isn’t the time for that.

Did you watch the video? He said the comments were wrong and to allow those affected speak about their issues.

He’s not dismissing it as an issue though. There are people killed on the street everyday due to police brutality. It’s still happening, is he wrong to highlight that he wants that issue to be more of an immediate concern?

It’s not his fight.

All he had to say was anti-Semitism and any other hate based on race, sex, religion or sexual identity is wrong.

Stay focused is all but saying anti-Semitism isn’t that important right now so let’s put it aside right now.

It was really, really stupid, and I’ve been one of his staunchest defenders in here.

No, it isn't his fight. He didn't have to say a freaking word about what Jackson said. Instead he chose to be divisive. That's what you aren't getting.

Let me ask you a question. Richard Spencer is a white supremacist. If the conversation was about him, and not Farrahkan, would you suggest that we dive into the problems with the black community in order to understand where Spencer is coming from? Would we explore the ways in which the black community brought the hatred upon themselves?

There is actually a documentary on Netflix about the Alt Right movement and the BLM movement. The camera crew follows Richard Spencer around and also the BLM leader, the documentary doesnt make any statements or relate their views they simply document the two sides and ask them questions and document the answers and let the viewer come to their own conclusion.

When only one side of the story is being told or only one view is held the possibility of learning and growth by and for all decrease.

I can really admire how Julian Edelman handled the situation, he didnt call desean an anti semite nor did he defend desean he simply said he would like to talk to desean to understand his point of view and find middle ground.

When the narrative is one sided as the majority is in the media, finding middle ground is more difficult.

Edelman showed a great deal of empathy for desean.

While I agree, what he said is really disappointing.

He said it was wrong and people offended by it should voices their grievances

I can kind of understand him because America does have ADD. He just doesn't want to lose any momentum the movement has right now

It definitely could have been said better

The text wasn't good. In the video though he did say it was wrong

I can’t imagine there being any other answer than Reagor.

My initial guess is both Reagor and Wallace will be Eagles for 6+ seasons, Taylor will be a ST guy and fringe LB, and Hightower will be a surprisingly good pick.

Is "He speaks truth" also a title bestowed on NOI leaders?

He absolutely is dismissing it. He's literally saying its not that important and his cause is what the focus only needs to be on and everyone should redirect their attention back to that. Police brutality is still going on. Ok. Is antisemitism sitting in the penalty box or on the bench waiting to get in the game?

All he had to do was say "DeSean and Malik were wrong in their comments. Any hate to race, religion or sex shouldn't be tolerated. Continue pushing to end these things in society. Continue pushing to end systemic racism, BLM, and justice for Breonna Taylor."

He said the comments were wrong. He wants focus on ending police brutality and making sure black people are equal in this Country. That’s not wrong of him to say.

That’s been his fight for years and it’s front and center in the Country right now as protests are still ongoing. Obviously that’s where he wants focus.

I’m not defending it at all, but I wasn’t aware of the "honorable” distinction. Just wanted to make that clear.

Jenkins says it's not his fight.  And the jewish issues are not black people's issues.

Yet a few weeks ago white people were being criticized for not speaking up for black rights.

Drew Brees was within an inch of his career ending for supporting them but speaking out against kneeling.

Apparently we are all supposed to care for them, in just the exact way they want us to.  But they don't have to care for anyone else. Not their fight.

Self serving.  Greedy. Bull crap.

F it. BLM isn't my fight either.  They can be on their own. They love division.  They can play their own "national anthem" and fight by themselves.

Yeah I don’t think he worded that perfectly, but it’s quite to leap to just say he’s dismissing it entirely.

You’re really wording this poorly (I hope). "Us” and "Them”.

Dude, stop. Just admit you are off base here.

Jenkins didn't have to tweet a freaking thing about Jackson. Either just say it was wrong or don't interject yourself into the conversation. Period.
