So, you have guys like Mahomes and Jackson(both struggling at the moment), but they have designed running plays, so although they can RUN,they are NOT running an RPO offense, they are using PLAY ACTION. If inexperienced Siri, is letting his inexperienced QB control the offense, with inexperienced WR's, then we have bigger issues than we thought

Hurts has been like….80 percent of the offense. Crazy the gameplan is relying on him to carry everything.

We are paying Wentz thirty mil to play in Indy this season. That dough would go a long ways towards free agent additions to lift this team up to be competitive. Not too mention we need these high draft pick additions next season. We have t gotten the impact you’d hope due from much of this past draft. Not giving up but realize they aren’t moving the needle yet either.

It shouldn’t take a rocket scientist to realize that our top paid O guys aren’t contributing to the offense. Wentz, Brooks, Lane and Ertz aren’t helping much at all for us. Blame the QB if you must. But I start right there.

The RPO leaves a man unblocked to ‘read.’ It can be run at any level of football. Our coaches don’t know much about it though. So we are running the most obvious simplistic version.  Playaction is still in the playbook though. So it’s still available. You actually have to hand off to the RB you’d think for anyone to actually bite on the run fake though. Which nobody would. So faking a handoff is just extra time where the QB doesn’t have his eyes up reading a D.

There is a world of difference between RPO and play action as to what your OFFENSIVE line does. Forget RB's,WR's . RPO makes your O line stand it's ground(aka pass pro) NOT open running lanes for RB's. Play action is a totally different animal. You cannot run play action until you establish the run. We cant establish the run because we are too busy running an RPO offense(get it yet?). In a straight RPO offense(which we run) the RB is the QB and that's exactly what you are seeing. We need to run a "normal" offense with RB's involved and the QB who can run IF HE has to. In this offense there is little choice who the RB is,that is the QB. Sanders ZERO TD's all year 5 games in? That's a disgrace. This college offense will never work and it's going to get worse as the year progresses because we are back to the 6 predictable plays Chip ran

Welcome to the RPO college offense

You're seeing lame stats from every WR we have because of this RPO BS. Now it gets more interesting now that Ertz is gone. The problem is not the young offense, the problem is the RPO and the QB that runs it

OK I will blame the QB and the fact an inexperienced Coach is turning the team over to an inexperienced college QB. Would you want an intern to perform open heart surgery on you? That's about the same thing we have here

Re watch the tape of when we called Smith's name on draft day. He didn't look overly thrilled. And that is coming from a COLLEGE guy,who understood he would be stuck with an RPO QB. These young guys want stats, and bragging rights and a future and that's not going to happen here with this QB. Hurts was drafted as a BACK UP and that's what we are seeing and I see NO progress from him as a QB and that is ALARMING

If you can’t see that Siri is doing a horrible job I wouldn’t know what to tell you

Lmao 🤣 that’s the difference in me and you I can see Siri has been bad just like Hurts has been terrible and they don’t go hand and hand…. I’m not a fan of the offense Siri is running but I’m also not faulting Siri offense for Hurts missing open players makes no sense

The issue is Ham how oblivious you are to Hurts every excuse in the book with you for why he has been terrible it’s just getting sad at this point with you

Lmao more excuses can’t with you oh the money can lift this team not when Hurts can hit water falling out of a boat…. This is my issue with the Hurts Stan’s they really don’t see how bad he has been

As much as I am a Wentz fan I was super critical of Wentz last year for the mistake he was making that had nothing to do with the team and he had no help, no OL, no WRs, RB/TEs missed numerous terrible play calling and I still faulted Wentz when it was Wentz making a bad read or missing open guys or forcing passes…

Just like I am faulting Hurts now for his mistakes and not using cop out excuses for him

The Eagles are only the 3rd team since 1948 with a 5.2 rushing average on 22 or fewer carries per game

IDK why we wasted a pick on Gainwell

We are fourth in fourth quarter scoring. Shows we have a gamer at QB. Also when you compare to the first quarter realize the game planning obviously not been great.

He’ll be very good for the next coaching staff

As they rely on their running game even though their top two backs are out. Hmmmm….might be something to this. Running backs….how did they get that name again?

Another issue.yeah he is making nice throws at times because that is his first(and only) read, so far what I am seeing is he can't hit his secondary read,if he even has one. IDK why we employ/pay RB's at all. If these guys(RB's) stay in Philly, they can play until they are 45

Hey, I think he has allot to improve on. I also think he is not getting much support, so this may hinder the evaluation process. We really do not know what siri is telling him when they are in the film room. We do not know what, if anything the QB coach and OC are doing to help him prepare. What we do know is he needs to go thru his reads. He needs to make better decisions when they do run the crappy RPO. We do know he has to trust his WR's to get open and let the ball fly. They need to make sure they catch it or they need to make sure it is not intercepted. The Eagles do not seem to have a large list of plays. They do not use motion to help disguise the play. There are allot of things the coaching staff can do too. Overall, this team is really bad right now. Not just because of Hurts. Siri and the coaches need to do a better job. Howie needs to do a better job. Lurie needs to do a better job. At the end of the year we are going to have 2-3 first round draft picks and Money to spend on FA's if we feel they are ready to compete, which they will not be. Someone needs to hit on All of these picks! We are 2-3 years away from what I am seeing...

You forgot, he's a great leader, his teammates play hard for him and he stays calm. Canton here we come!

Greatest Garbage time QB in history!!!

Just need some more on time throws. That drop and throw timing with these young receivers. Should be unstoppable. The ball needs to be in the air before the receiver makes his cut. Of coarse Reagor and Watkins need to work on actual cuts.
