I think we will have a top 10 pick from the saints this year. But won’t be in position for those top 2 QBs. So went with my 3rd guy Van Dyke who I really like lol

I like him also and maybe we could get him without giving up the other 1. I'm wondering now with the Strong grab if we don't nose around to trade Shew. I would actually rather see Shew in NC than Mayfield

Don’t think so at least not anytime soon unless we get blown away by an offer… did here we were looking at Foles before he signed with the Colts. If that happened we would have dealt him

Yup why no faith in Hurts he never been a great QB not expecting it to change…

if you can see that from Burrow what’s the obsession for below avg. Hurts

Hurts would have owned the Heisman if it wasn’t for Burrow. He did dominate. But Hurts wasn’t a first overall pick. Never said he was that level. Been performing better than any QB drafted since him though.

Love for Tua to have a good year be one less team in the market for a QB next offseason when we will need one

What a crappy fan. You mention how interested you are in seeing how Tua and Hurts do this year and then….would love for Tua to have a good year?

Don’t care what you think about me I’ll sleep just as well regardless. I haven’t hidden my believe in Hurts and it isn’t going to change now.

So yea Tua having a good year would take 1 fewer team out the market next offseason helping our team.

No he hasn’t lmao 😂 wouldn’t put him ahead of Mac Jones or Davis Mills for that matter…. Don’t think he was better in his small sample vs Lance small sample.

and just super sad you don’t compare him to his own class of QBs which he isn’t better then Burrow or Hebert and been on par with Tua

So of the 5 QBs that played in 2021 and the 4 QBs in 2020… I’d place

Burrow, Herbert, Jones, Mills, Lance(based on similar samples.) ahead

Tua=Hurts

Lawrence(who I think will clearly jump him this year with Doug at the helm), Wilson, Fields are below.

so out of the 9 QBs that played that have played anything remotely to significant snaps over the pass two drafts I have Hurts tied at 6th

Burrow is a complete stud. No doubts. I think Trevor will be much better than he has performed so far.

Lance been behind a Garrapolo that’s lesser than Hurts. Hurts had to take the job from Wentz. Wasn’t just given to him.

It just sucks that it feels like half this place is rooting for our QB to fail.

Kind of a late season "we lost our QB" play with Shew.Any team that goes far then loses their QB would be interested

Lmao it was literally handed to him after a lost season wow the delusions

Again read the comment on Lance in the same sample size his 2-3 games vs Hurts 4 games as a rookie Lance was far superior

LMAO, OH the fact Jimmy had to play in the best division in the NFL had nothing to do with anything, while Hurts skated through opponents putting 3rd stringers on the field. We gave wentz no weapons as a PASSING QB. When we lost them all he lost his mojo.Of course when you have no WR's a running QB will do better, yet somehow this is all rocket science for you

Once again you are relying on Tankgame to bring Hurts down. The whole organization doing everything they can to lose the game.

We surrounded him with enough talent, even I would look good. he will have success simply because of the team around him,he really can't help himself,so for me I need to see STELLAR numbers in the passing game, not MEDIOCRE. That has ZERO to do with me "wanting him to fail".it's more about the QB I EXPECT with the players we have invested in at other positions. I hope Hurts lights it up for 5,000 passing yards,so how is that wanting him to fail?" the question becomes can he DO it?

Trey Lance - 2 1/2 games 41/71 58% 603 passing yards 5 tds 2ints 168 rushing yards 1 td

Hurts- 5 games 77/148 52% 1061 passing yards 6 tds 4ints 354 rushing yards 3 tds.

so in 2 1/2 more games hurts had 400 more passing yards 200 rushing yards and 3 Tds.

Yea think Lance played better.

Niners gave up three first rounders for Lance, Hurts was a second d rounder. You would think Lance would be clearly much better. Haven’t seen it.

Lmao that was 1/2 of a game yes that completely changed how bad he was as a rookie

But forget the first 5/6 games, when we allowed Hurts to run up his stat lines at the expense of others. We had no RB running game and our passing game barely existed until mid week 6 when Siri finally said enough of this BS RPO college offense(if you remember)

Yes a 20 year old kid from a small school played better then Hurts rookie year v rookie year…

Siri was holding him back with a bad O game plan. So he had to carry the O being 80 percent of it. No idea what you are trying to say.

Think it was the other way around Hurts is holding Siri back and it keeps showing up when we play good teams.

LMAO,we catered to Hurts college RPO offense because Siri felt he had not grown up/developed enough to install an actual PRO offense until week 6. Now the FO has given this team every weapon it needs on offense,Hurts has no more excuses. I expect a MINIMUM of 4,000 passing yards. If you expect less,YOU are the one who wants him to fail

We essentially lost three starting Oline to start the season. Brooks went down. Then Seumalo went down. Lane head wasn’t in the game. Then he actually walked away.

And we faced teams who lost more than that. Cheap wins-check. But now the excuses have run out,we are at the end of the coddle list.Put it up or go away. Not hard to fathom. prove you are a round 1 talent we got in round 2.Simple
