Prediction: Gainwell will out perform Sanders this season.

Out perform or out stat?   I thought Gainwell was better last year from the eye test.    He scored more TDs so he had to be better 😆

Idk about that.   Gainwell getting more touches and if the rookie can play a little... that should be improvement.

I like Gainwells game.

I wanted to see them pick up a big back

Out perform as in scoring and being versatile in passing game as well as rushing.

IDK Gainwell we should see more of now. Sanders should not be hurt,so no real pressing need for a RB IMO unless we lose one or 2. Scott did fine filling in

So watching the games last year, you had an issue with our running game???

Or was it because you had Sanders in your fantasy league?

LOL yeah I have issues when your star RB can't cross the GL

Isn't the rookie a bigger RB?

Basically just like last year.

1.   Sanders is not a star.  That is your first mistake.

 2.  who had a better running game than the Eagles last year?   If you can  count by either giving the middle finger or the peace sign... it's not really an issue.

3.  Like I said, Gainwell with the eye test already was better, they put him in the redzone for a reason.

Right...the correct play was to go all in with Hurts THIS YEAR.

True leaders cannot look bad in May, June,July or any other time. He spent all that time off season supposedly proving he has improved enough to lead this teamj. He needs to lead from the second they set foot in camp. This is NOT a good sign for his leadership skills. Spin it how you want, but it's not good news

The greatest leaders can still have off days. Ask yourself: why do they even practice?

You guys can call me Captain Obvious but this season depends on Hurts improving. The O line should be one of the best in the NFL. WRs are better.

D is better front to back. The only question mark i have is RB but the O line should help with that.

And that pretty much leaves the elephant in the room, doesn't it?

The D shouldn’t have been as bad as it was last year. This season really depends heavily on the defense.

Huge season for Miles. He’s the one RB that can be special. Love guys being in contract years.

Think this wouldn’t be good for our season. Sanders having a huge season I believe to be crucial in how good this team will be. I like Gainwell and he has skills. Very useful in the committee. But I don’t see him having the same potential ceiling as Sanders.

How much do you like his game? Do you think he could become a legit starter?

Sanders hasn’t been a star…. so far. His ability and potential can be. He has absolutely elite qualities. It’s clearly time for him to show it….or not. Believe Sanders having a huge season is key to how far this team can go. Not sure what eye test you used to see Gainwell as better. Seems to me there is a clear difference in when Sanders touches the ball. He’s a huge threat. My eyes saw Gainwell hit the bench. He’s just not a starting caliber rusher. Now this doesn’t mean I don’t like Gainwell. Think he has some obvious improvement areas that I fully expect him to fix this offseason. Gainwell is just a committee RB though. Can he step up to RB 2? I could see some ways the season could go where Gainwell doesn’t dress some games. The rookie could be a better fit for this year’s committee.

In fact you usually see more of what makes a guy a great leader when things aren’t going well.

LOL Yeah…ok. Gainwell has been doing well at putting points on board. That's the objective.

Sanders needs to rev it up a little more and hopefully stay healthy. It would be good for the team this season and the future.

Sanders is out after this year.  Same with the QB... we all know it.  But it's one last legit shot with an excellent offense built around them.

Mailata, Dickerson,  Kelce, Seamulo, Lane, Brown,  Smith and Goedert.    Watch people will look at that lineup and obsess about Seamulo not being so great.    The point is, not many QB and RB combos are playing with as good of a supporting cast.  In fact,  probably not any other QB/ RB has as good of a supporting cast.

Sanders and Hurts do plenty on their own. Sanders has had a few issues each season holding him back. If he doesn’t dance around and hits the hole…..and proves durable this season…..he’s clearly a notch or two above the just good backs.

  • Author

Sanders yards per carry and Hurts most explosive player in the league isn’t just do to their line. Those two have special ability.

  • Author

I can’t believe No Mas you are just putting everything on everybody else. Some serious Hurts and Sanders hating there.

Wow already stealing Sanders and Hurts thunder….to praise anybody but them. This is just BS agenda based starting argument. Haven’t even got to TC yet. Maybe you could try basing things on an actual play.

But I’ll take it from that strong hatred for QB1 and RB1 that you are expecting them to be great. Claiming we have the best O in the league.

Pretty confident you're right. I was unsure if Sanders would be kept until the draft and FA was over.

I do believe it depends on how good of a season Sanders has though. If he has a great season then he may get re-signed.

I doubt we keep Sanders if he has a great season. Don’t think they want to pony up that much fir a RB.
