One if the biggest takeaways from our playoff game had to be that Oline Dline matchup also. Favored them

So if we have the best Oline but keep losing that matchup something’s wrong. Not a great strategy.

Yes...keep making an argument to focus on improving the line.   I agree.

Dline yes but you keep being absolute about our top Oline. But we lose the Oline Dline matchup too much

And again... more reason to focus on improving the lines

Thank you for that. Helps make things a bit more clear. The guy backing up the 84 yard RB isn’t what I’m calling or relying on as committee. I drop him and give somebody else a shot.

No doubt.

Well we have HURTS and SANDERS the other RB's are space savers. Scot has no been impactful this year because we don't use him. They play SNAPS to block or whatever else assignment they have but as runners they dont do much. So I would be fine with say Hunt and Sermon as a 1/2 over Sanders ONLY,because none of the others get to show what they can do. maybe sermon is a STUD. how do we know he's not??? maybe he's not,but we never see him play. BTW Sermon leads all our backs in YPC with only TWO snaps,so how do you judge that??? I'm not going to pull snaps from Sanders because this is his CONTRACT year.

Given up a bunch of sacks. Having a low yards per carry. So we are best. Invest heavily. But not working. We dominate some…or even much. Why do many sacks then? Why low yard per carry?

Seems the top teams to me have good DLines. So if I can’t count on our Oline to win that matchup ….what are we doing?

Might have to rethink the old philosophies sone here.

Buckner was a clear problem. Lowly Colts. High school TV guy coach. Our Oline didn’t move them.

Plus timing. We just saw a bad team in Indy. Gave our Oline fits. You believe we have the best Oline. But that matchup of our Oline vs their Dline they won. Really troubled us. Makes me really think about that belief.

When the game was on the line who bulled ahead to get Hurts that 4th and 1(the O line). From the 7 who opened the hole for his 7 yards scamper(the Oline) Maybe they dug down deep for those 2 plays and said "let's give it all we have" but Hurts is the "hero" because of the Oline

Our WRs are finally there.  Lines need retooling.   You can find replacement for Sanders...not that difficult.

Remember when everyone was ticked off when we let Shady walk?

How is ball hogging turn into hate? It's DAMN FACTS you choose to ignore. he hogs the ball on 4th and 1,he hogs the ball at the GL what do you NOT see?????

He converts shirt yardage at an extreme high rate. Kelce even told the D "you know what we going to do.”

Scoring TDs I just can’t look at as hogging. I see it in a completely different light. I see it as clutch. Reliably taking things and putting it on his shoulders.

Scenario here... humor these outrageous ideas

1.  Just keep Hurts

2. Don't pay CGJ, Bradberry, Cox, Hargrave or White.

3.  Allocate the money you could spend on Sanders and Seamulo... to a top G.

4. Look to retain Edwards and Epps.

5. Draft DL first.. whatever 2nd... say DL, CB, LB or OL ... Then round 2 or 3.. one of the picks is RB.

Crazy ideas... but might be close to what happens.   Then you " clear cap" going forward.  Probably spend well in 2024... but wait...  we have two 2nd round picks in 2024 too.  Lol.

Just feels like hate to me to call a guy ball hogging when he’s successful.

Yes..we need to focus on OL more than RB ... I agree... keep finding more reasons to not pay Sanders. I like it.

Thats why I want Edge and DT round 1,if one is not there and a RB is sitting pretty and he is the BPA take him. Nice draft for linemen this this time and of course the rage to get a QB will be high so good RB's will be falling into round 2

So how does that mean I HATE Hurts? I am merely stating what I see and you deny it. We have Hurts and Sanders at RB,the rest don't do diddly

Our RB tandem consists of Hurts and Sanders, would you agree with this statement?

Anyone who wants to watch the fights, turn on FL/FL st,it's chipy already in the 3rd lol

I wasn't...bad contract.  Just was dumb to replace with another overpaid bad contract with Murray.

But again..when it happened you could tell there was an out in the contract.  They just don't like to pay RBs.

Because we have the Oline to do that?

What point to improve the line?

You said we have the best

Can’t do much to improve the best

Idk....who has a better OL?

But if it's as bad as Ham says... we are going to need to replace guys.  Really we have to replace guys anyway due to age and contracts expiring.

But we are giving up sacks and not getting that yards per carry like others. You focus on the highlight huge hole. But overall we lose too much there….if we have the best.

Not working

Explain my questions then

I asked who was better....I mean 31 options you have had plenty opportunity to name one?

They are the best Oline. We giving up tons of sacks and not getting as good yards per carry as others. Not winning the Dline Oline matchup too much. Colts best is there. Tampa beat us there. So you keep investing so much in an area we keep losing? Don’t get it. Not seeming like a great idea anymore.

They the best. I don’t know. But if they are it’s clearly a bad investment. Losing the matchup too much. Gotta rethink things then. Right?

It's his play style we game plan for it. Nothing to do with hate,it's how he plays. We're trying to let him grow into more of a pass oriented QB,but we'll [play to his running style as that develops and maybe in a year of 2 we see a complete NFL QB? As your QB grows you can change the people around him. We have already planned ahead for this signing AJ to a 4 year drafting Smith, trying to find TE 2. Those are people in place when Hurts GROWS. Right now he runs because that's what he has always done. he will wean himself off as he gets better at passing. if we weren't planning for that WHY get AJ or Smith? Just get 3 BEAST RB's and have at it.so,in my view this has all been set up for Hurts to succeed and grow into a complete QB. IMO he has a ways to go,but the tools are there for him. he couldn't learn or grow with the likes of reagor who hampered that effort and why I wanted him OUT since the day we drafted him
