Of course I’m going break everything down and love fantastic moments. Why not think about it question evaluate things? No doubt team isn’t looking towards my ideas. That isn’t stopping me from forming my own ideas and opinions at all though.

Are you saying you can’t win with two quality RBs?

I don’t get such bold confidence over what everybody I’ve talked to lists Gainwell as third string RB. Two seasons he hasn’t done anything other than rumble over the broken beaten Giants in the fourth quarter. Don’t get me wrong…loved every minute of that. Humiliated them so thoroughly. Third string, third year RB that hasn’t produced squat in his career…that’s your guaranteed roster lock for two more years. Wow!

UH,you have a guy(Sanders) that has played well for you,you want to part on good terms and you want him to succeed elsewhere because you aren't going to pay him what he wants. And so he is your "feature" back in a contract year to give him excellent stats,so both your dreams can be fulfilled. he got a nice contract,we get a high comp pick. So we did that for him all year long, but now in 1 game you want to change it all out? Ignore the things that got you to the SB? For one game? IDK wouldn't you tend to go with what worked all year???? Was Scott a dynamo for us all year? Gainwell can't improve from the bench. he may ride pine again if Swift and Penny get it done,so you take those guys out to pay Scott? I like Scott too, always have. You talk about gainwell as a 3rd stringer,TBH Scott wasn't even that, yet here is is,still employed. Why can't Gains do the same? Each guy could have a specific play or 2 that they would excel at over the other RB's. I used to be a ping pong champ. I had ONE good asset, my backhand. I was never good at doubles because that required an all around game I didn't have. So play to your strength. Le the coaches sort it out,it's what we pay them for

How especially with Gainwell only stepping up at the end of the giants blowout is that even noteworthy. Gotta be the end you are referring to is that fourth quarter. Because the end…SB…pathetic. You seemingly preach rushing is all Oline. Preach we have the best Oline. Didn’t do squat. Doesn’t add up with any logic I comprehend

You have(you know those intagibles you love?) other things at RB. One big one is decision making. Even with a top Oline if the RB has decision making trouble(this was also a bash on Hurts early on) you can be tackled in the back field. Those are things you work on in camp. So guys will imp[rove, the ones that don't 'get it" get cut. Gainwell needs more on field playing time. In practice you play against the same guys, once the season starts you see looks you didn't in practice. Sermon saw no time at all. Would he be better than Scott? better than Gainwell? I have zero way of knowing because you can't compare him to a guy who takes actual snaps. So apparently the staff feels Sermon is not ready for actual snaps? Again IDK,but they aren' paying me to know

I personally prefer Scott over Gainwell. Give Gainwell the edge as a receiver. But Hurts doesn’t throw to RB much anyway. So very small factor.

Swift offers better at both IMO,yet we didn't improve the room??? Let's see him mwwork behind a much better O line than he ever had in Detroit

Swift and Penny were tossed away. Sanders got paid respectable money in a very tough market. Two players laying on the trainers table rehabbing doesn’t beat one player on the field.

It's not a tough market, Anyone who overpays a RB now is clueless. I'll draft a top one before I pay big YEAR after YEAR

Miles Sanders 259 carries...  can easily be split up amongst Penny,  Swift and Gainwell.

You can give both the new guys 100 carries and give Gainwell another 59.  That's the 259.   You are better in short yardage and better in the passing game.

Injuries are the only thing to where it's a downgrade.   I think most everyone would agree.  Especially with the idea Gainwell should be better year 3.   Which most people not blinded by hatred or jealousy would agree.

This^

You said I hate him. I think he’s fairly insignificant. Run of the mill RB. I prefer Scott.

All 4 RB's we have are run of the mill, that's the idea LOL. They just quietly get the job done,no fanfare,no glitter drops. 4 guys who can't win the Kentucky Derby as horses, but they will get your field plowed. I like it and if one gets hurt, you lose 1/4 not 100% of your running game and why would you pay a huge amount to a RB when you have a running QB?

Think he could get us there

Where?

I believe our team is built to be physical and run on people. I want to maximize that advantage as much as possible. I think Dalvin Cook would destroy people here.

That's what Penney did in Seattle,go watch some vids

LOL who would say that???? Define "quality" then decide what you will pay them, then hope you can find those 2 guys specifically. You pay Cook(or anyone) huge, you better play him every down(or why do it). We let Sanders go because we didn't want to pay him,now you want that same thing????? he won't sign a 1 year,he will want a 5,you ready to commit to that????

BTW we need to acknowledge that Penny comes with injury risk,so I would also assume that we have alternates picked out to go after once the season starts. One we have now could be a placeholder definitely. Sermon and Brooks could go away, but we could add another if Penny gets hurt. There will be some cuts coming we could capitalize on also. When someone takes Cook, they could cut a usable RB. We've seen it before. We also have picks to trade from next years draft. Just be smart about it

my Panthers are up against the do or die wall tonight. The Heat wasn't even luke warm. Denver has a great team

Maybe he is saying the RB is the least inpactful position when it comes to winning.  It's obviously the feeling of the league seeing the pay scale.

Washington and Giants both got athletic top DB picks to matchup with DeVonta….Forbes and Banks.

Glad i don't have to commute on I95 tomorrow morning.

That's gonna be a disaster.

That's going to be a lot longer than just tomorrow!   I hope it was a legit accident and not something on purpose.

Does seem a bit odd that the truck caught fire and stayed under the overpass

Get in shape and stay out of the news.

Looking forward to this year... most excited I've been to start the season since probably 2004.
