They may have a down game or 2, but not 12 in a row and they probably don't have "pissing matches" at the LOS about the called plays

Accept Rodgers did have this exact pissing match with McCarthy. Would change his plays at the LoS

Two things that have popped up on twitter today.

One is that there has been some speculation that the Eagles could switch to a 3-4 based on the HC or DC hire. It is somewhat interesting, and I think the lineup might look something like Cox and Hargrave as the NT/DT, Graham at the DE position, and Sweat at the OLB position, along with Parsons.

A pass rush of Sweat, Graham, Parsons, Cox and Hargrave would be a literally nightmare for opposing DCs, and Singleton and Edwards would fit in really well as the interior LBs. Barnett wouldn't really fit in the defense, and the team could save $10 million in cap space. Avery would be much better in a 3-4 as well, and they could bring Curry back to be Graham's back up. The draft is also loaded with smaller guys who project as OLBs in a 3-4, so if they were going to make a switch, this would be the year to do it.

Another is that Chase is being questioned as a WR1. Several people looking at film have been critical of his route running, saying he is unlikely to keep outmuscling corners in the NFL like he did in college.

So questions about Chase combined with speculation about switching schemes makes me think Parsons may be back in play.

So did he miss open receivers and take league leading sacks and throw league leading picks? Seems to me that disagreement was solved rather quickly?

Reports of Wentz being an unruly child have been circulating for yrs - where there's smoke.

So we have Howie, bad cap and a prima donna QB the owner wants "fixed"

Just the kind of position a good coach would want - not!

Actually yea he was damn near the top in sacks that year.

I'm taking Smith over Chase(made that call many moons ago). At this point we can switch D's because we have no direction and I will stick to my guns that Pasrons goes to ATL(and they have new coach to boot that he went to AFTER the interview with Lurie)

yeah,I think we hire Duce because noone else wants this job lol

I have QB, QB, Sewell, Parsons, Paye in that order and if we pass on Smith, this team is dumber than 10 boxes of rocks. We'll take a punter

Of course if we hire Duce(he may be the only guy who would take this job) then we lose Stine forever

did they pull him from games? Read the article where Wentz was responsible for 2/3rds of the sacks taken and how many missed open receivers did Aaron miss that year. You can cherry pick whatever you want,so try looking at the entire picture. If I recall that year they had RB issues they couldn't fix either(all year long)

SOOOO Howie and Wentz will continue to destroy this team for the next 2 years running because Lurie is too weak to challenge either one and the new HC won;t matter and besides that if we promote Duce we still have 7 positions to fill with NOONE banging on the door to get into Novacare (GL with that)

Likely

Sorry, it's not likely at all. I will take a Trask who I can develop under MY leadership if I am Reich. I don't need someone else's disaster to "fix" at the expense it would take to get him. I don't think the Colts are that stupid, but hey, maybe they are the Jets in disguise

IDK,I am just totally disgusted/frustrated/PO'd right now. What's mostly sad to me is how much my daughter spent on gear for me for this lame team that will be cornering in the basement for years to come

Looking at coaching options left that we have talked to...

Im still find Joe Brady the most interesting but with this FO don’t see things playing out much different then what happened with Doug. FO will try and have to much control over the staff since he is relatively new coach in the league.

Maybe the best hire left might just be Ryan Day no way in hell he would leave his job now if it didn’t have some control here especially over his staff.

Ewwwwww we are talking to Josh McDaniels for our HC job... Two weasels on the same team lol what could go wrong

Well if we land McDaniels maybe he can out weasel Howie get him fired at least that be a start lol

I want no part of Bieniemy either. He’s Doug Pederson part 2 but without the QB experience. KC OC with no play calling experience, no thanks. Just give it to Duce if we’re deciding between those guys.

I hope they’re holding out for Brian Daboll or even Ryan Day.

I can’t believe what an unattractive job this has become because of Howie & Lurie. They want a "yes man” and Duce will be that for them.

Sure at first same with Doug but if he finds success it’s only natural they will start to want more control and say... Then we are right back where we started lol

Well we did request to interview Bieniemy, which I did mention just after DP was fired. Just thought he was too sane to accept.

AR isn’t a good coach he inherited a good team in KC that’s why he won a SB he didn’t have final say that was all the GM... Same with Pete Carroll was the GM not a good coach he inherited his squad... Reich inherited his team why he is good right now. Go down the list of coaches that apparently inherited there teams by this logic

This was a joke, right? AR is one of the BEST coaches in the history of the NFL. How many times has he taken his team to the conference championships? Playoffs every year! No offense, but you are delusional if you really think AR is not a good coach.

Yes it was a sarcastic remark on an entire debate

I know this may be WAY off everyone’s radar, but Kellen Moore should SERIOUSLY be considered. He grew up with a lifetime football high school coach (his dad), and his football IQ is outstanding. Don’t laugh.

If I could have any head coach, I’d take McVay. I love the way he exposes favorable matchups and does more to help average Goff than any coach does with their QB. I know. He is not going anywhere. I just expressed who i think is currently the best head coach in the league.

Right on! You had me really confused. Haha.

Well interviewed Mayo now we are interviewing McDaniels.... A McDaniels/Mayo duo????
