I haven't heard this and have been keeping an eye out for any reports on how Jackson is doing so far. I liked him coming out.

It shows up in their idiotic pre TC 53 man roster predictions. Most have neither Jackson nor Johnson making the final 53.  They have Jackson as the odd man out at DE (most list Williams as a DT) and Avery being the sole rush LB.   if that is the case, Smith at P May have been a better use of draft capital.  But, Howie……..

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

RPS, pop quizzes...what a culture they're building. What's next?

I heard Heads Up 7 Up is next.

Just imagine the reaction if Wentz had stayed in the Philly and that injury had happened at the Novacare, with Hurts starting some of the season while he recovers

And this matters why? Is the implication that he doesn't have a strong enough arm or something? If so, that's absurd.

He's a check down QB.  Since the Eagles signed him you've had several here stating how they would prefer Flacco as the starting QB and at least one of those people who seems to consider Hurts as a check down QB who does not try to push the ball down the field.

Since Jake Elliott was referenced earlier, I thought it might be appropriate to look at his career kicking efficiency numbers as compared to all the other kickers around the league. There are three separate ratings I track. One is current rating, which is updated every week and carries over from one season to the next. The other is based solely on effectiveness in a particular year. The third is very similar to the second, but is based on points earned vs the expected points earned. For example, if two kickers each make 17 out of 20 attempts, they've earned 51 points for their team. But one kicker's attempts may have been from much closer than the other. Perhaps his were so short that he would have been expected to make 19 of them, whereas the other kicker's attempts were so far away that he would only have been expected to make 15. The latter's rating would naturally be better.

Anyway, tracking Elliott through his four years:

2017) Ranked 16th, 14th, and 13th, respectively. So if you average them out 14.3.

2018) Ranked 16th, 24th, and 24th. Average 21.3.

2019) Ranked 17th, 14th, and 15th. Average 15.3.

2020) Ranked 24th, 28th, 29th. Average 27.0.

So even in his best years, he was really only in the average range. Certainly not bad but not great either. (Thanks for that clutch kick in the Super Bowl though!)

While I don't think his job is in jeopardy in camp, he really does have to at least get back to the middle-of-the-road category. Only the really great kickers (Tucker immediately comes to mind) are great from year to year. The rest tend to bounce up and down. So I'd say there's a decent chance he rebounds this year.

He definitely seemed like he sucked last year which was funny because he just got the 5 year contract. That seems to be the course for us when a player gets a contract

Listening to that Nick Foles clip from today is funny because of the endless arguments from years ago that the offense wasn't changed at all when Foles stepped in for the SB run. He said point blank, unprovoked "Frank changed and built the offense around me"

Oh man now nick is lying......

How funny would it be if the Colts traded for Flacco?

People who denied that are idiots.  Doug, Frank and now Nick all said it.

How about this:

Flacco for a 20% adjustment on the trade conditions. 75%/70% snaps to 55%/50%

I want at least a 2nd round pick

Would be funny. I think it would be more funny if they did it for hurts.

Every reporter I've heard is saying Dillard is having the worst camp of anyone. They didn't specifically use those words, but he's been singled out by every single reporter as the first guy having a bad camp. Getting routinely beat.

What a Fing bust, man. He's going to go down as one of the biggest in Eagles history considering he was traded up for.

I don't think Gainwell is near a lock anymore.

Sanders is the only 100% keeper with Scott appearing to have some sort of role.  Then IMO it comes down to one of Johnson/Howard and one of Huntley/Gainwell.

Gainwell will be on the roster.  It’s debatable how often he’ll be active on Sundays, but he figures into their plans.

Yep.  Need to watch the movie again.  Been too long.  Just like the crap through a goose line from Patton. Need to watch that one again too because I am not sure of the line.

It is included on Amazon Prime with a Prime membership... FYI.   But, that's a great line!

They are not cutting Gainwell.

Your predictions are always iron clad locks, so this is harrowing

Everyone knows that... except for the people who like to hate and be wrong.

Tomorrow pads.   No word on what level of contact.  Doesn’t sound like Sirianni is a big fan of tackling to the ground.

Neither is our defense.

Gainwell would have to be as inept as Pumphrey to be cut and that doesn't sound like the case here.

I can't see why they would but if they got some UDFA back it would be worth it.

Although Gannon seems to like it.

In fairness, Nate Gerry couldn't locate the opposing team much of the time last season.

Maybe Gannon talked to Schwartz and is planning to secretly going to try and overtake sirianni heading into year two....
