There is a difference between acknowledging faults of a player and only every posting negatively about a player and actively posting negatively about a player in response if someone posts something positive about that player.  I've never seen you make a genuine post about Hurts that was positive.  I at least have some respect for the posters here that have openly admitted they just flat out don't like him and are rooting against him.

Since you have the archive go find the post.  It was much more along the lines of no as a player I would not like to see him win a Super Bowl if he went somewhere else in the league but since he is the QB for the team that playoffs I hope he does win.

With the draft capital the Eagles have acquired for 2022, Hurts working out and being the future is the optimal outcome.

 

Why do you care so much what I think of Hurts, you like the guy, you think he is the future.  If he works out you can throw it in my face repeatedly.  Once again.

Just admit that you don't like him.  Because you carry on with this insincere act that you are being this impartial observer of Hurts on the Eagles when obviously you do not like him and aren't giving him any chance to succeed.  

 

And I don't think Hurts is the future.  I don't know if he is the future or not.  I think he has a chance to be.  I don't think we will know if he is or isn't until we get to see him in this second year.  But I absolutely think he deserves the chance to show it and if he turned out to be the future that would be the ultimate best case scenario for the team going forward.

Yeah that’s not why you got suspended and banned. There were plenty of those people who didn’t think he was a franchise QB (me include that said he wasn’t and didn’t get suspended or banned).

It is not that I don't like him, but, it was a reach when we selected him, and the team had other needs.  He did not show me anything to make me think he should be the future of the team.

Maybe he is, but he has a long way to go.  Cam Newton was considered an inaccurate running QB when he came into the NFL, he completed 60% of his passes in his first 4 starts.

Once again, WHY DO YOU CARE WHAT I THINK OF JALEN HURTS.  Do you believe the fans make QB's play poorly and chase them out of town ??  Do you hold my football analysis in high esteem and need me to endorse him ??  WHY DOES IT MATTER WHAT I THINK AND POST ABOUT JALEN HURTS ??

No that got him suspended for the playoffs til the super bowl (might have been after they won) cause he was actively bashing him in every post. He came back then did something idiotic after the fact and got himself banned.

It was a terrible draft pick.  An absolute classic from Howie that started to set in motion the events that would eventually cause Wentz to have a mental collapse this past season and force his way off the team.  There was flat out no acceptable reasoning to take a QB in the 2nd round when your 27 year old QB just won the division the season he signed a massive new contract.  

But we can't go back in time and change.  During that season from hell in 2020 which was so frustratingly awful to watch, Hurts actually gave one of the few glimmers of excitement.  I had god awful expectations of Hurts.  But he flashed as a rookie, he can throw some really nice passes.  He has the athletic ability and the pedigree of great college coaching to go along with it.  For a rookie QB he showed promise and it's exciting to see how that plays out this season.

Cam Newton was the first overall pick in the draft, he had OTAs and training camp and preseason and an entire season to work on his craft as a rookie.  Hurts was drafted during the onset of the COVID nonsense where it was all remote OTAs, limited training camp and no preseason whatsoever.  He didn't get a chance to get real experience and reps until late in a lost season on a terrible team.  

Cam Newton's first 4 starts BTW: 59.5%, 1,386 yards passing, 5 INTs, 5 Interceptions, 133 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs.  So not all that wildly different than Hurts who was making those 4 starts in far less desirable circumstances. 

 

I just want you to be sincere and open about the fact that you do not like Hurts.  That unless he has some MVP type season anything below that will have you wanting the Eagles to get rid of Hurts.   Just be honest about it.  But you try to carry yourself as being this impartial person regarding Hurts when that just isn't the case.  You have an agenda against him.

I was so excited the eagles won the super bowl I think I've blacked out everything on the boards before that and directly after out of mind blowing euphoria 😄
