Cam Newton's first 4 starts BTW: 59.5%, 1,386 yards passing, 5 INTs, 5 Interceptions, 133 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs.  So not all that wildly different than Hurts who was making those 4 starts in far less desirable circumstances. 

 

I just want you to be sincere and open about the fact that you do not like Hurts.  That unless he has some MVP type season anything below that will have you wanting the Eagles to get rid of Hurts.   Just be honest about it.  But you try to carry yourself as being this impartial person regarding Hurts when that just isn't the case.  You have an agenda against him.

Every time I click on a link, it takes me to the old board main page, but only shows me a view like somebody without an account would have. So I can’t see the talk about the eagle section. I tried entering my password and that doesn’t get me anywhere. What am I missing?

I think for the Eagles games, the reason why mandatory vaccination entry is bad is for logistical reasons, it's not necessary because outdoor spread is such a low risk.

Indoors would be a different story. Outdoor gatherings have largely proven not to be super spreader events

Remember, the archive of the old board is just basically a 'snapshot' of what was there. It's totally non-functional, as far as passwords and logging in and searching (like you would here) goes. Sometimes, clicking links in the archive will work, but only if the page that the link goes to, was also archived. But sometimes, to advance from page 1 to 2 or 2 to 5 or whatever, you have to right click the link and open it in a new tab (if straight clicking it doesn't work). 

That said, when you go to the 411 page on this board and go to the archive thread, which link within that thread are you clicking in order to get to the archive?

Hurts at QB is a good parallel to the Dillard/Mailata LT battle.

The Eagles ARE better off if Dillard wins the battle.  It gives us potentially a LT and RT of the future, eliminating the need for a likely first round pick at OT in the next year or two.  So everyone should be *rooting* for Dillard.  But many/most just don't think Dillard can handle the job, so they don't want to see things go in that direction.

Likewise, the Eagles are better off if Hurts shocks us all and is great, eliminating the need for a blockbuster capital investment at QB.  So everyone should be *rooting* for Hurts.  He's our QB, after all.  But many/most just don't think Hurts can handle the job, so they don't want to see things go in that direction for longer than they need to.

Exactly.  I was rooting for the Eagles with Foles.

I was not about the Bobbywizdum nonsense and wave of feelings held by many after the Super Bowl that the Eagles should go with Foles instead of Wentz going forward though.  Howie had a chance to trade Foles for a very high 2nd round draft pick and he didn't.  I think that was the first of a series of moves over the years that turned Wentz against Roseman and this organization.

That’s correct. Right after the NFCCG, he started a thread after he came back praising Foles going on and on about how wrong he was. It was a complete 180. Then after the Super Bowl, and when SBL started the thread, (literally the day after LII) about trading Wentz for a boatload of picks, he slowly started going back to his normal self.
