False. they have no idea if vaccinated people spread the virus more or less then unvaccinated.

And now that more of the country is vaccinated then not, math shows you you're more likely to get it from a vaccinated person.

You need to stop... your ignorance is showing.

Just some random comments for people who didn't watch the game and have no intention to do so. I find myself being more annoyed at the result of the game than I probably should. It's ridiculous t

Trending on EMB = $$$$$$$

I think a few of the players who are not there and are not on the injury report could be in protocol for corona.

Or he's contemplating quitting.

You didn't know Howie checks in here all the time?

Dillard in at first team LT. Draft status is going to force him as winner.

I am sure the team has to place them on the Covid list if that is the reason.

They already announced whose in the COVID protocol. Leo, Singleton and Adams

Hopefully this is for optics only for trade value

It's the first day. And they both said they were rotating each day in minicamps. Mailata probably gets the nod tomorrow.

Watched Dave and Fran Duffy live at training camp online. It's good to see the team back on the field. Football is back!

Why not Reagor, be did ok there last year.

Every player is unique, so there is no right or wrong answer to this.

For some WRs/players, the best way to get them to maximize their potential is to just get them on the field and get them going.  So if that means PR/KR, playing in the slot because that's where the opportunity is, even if their future/fit is Z....just get them on the field and let them grow.

For others, you need to give them pre-digested exposure.  Let them do one thing in their best fit role where you project them, let them focus on that, and don't feed them too much to overwhelm them.

Based on what we have seen so far, I suspect that Reagor is the later.  So I don't think he belongs at PR right now when he needs to learn how to be a more polished WR.

While I'm not a big fan of gymnastics,  I have a daughter that closely follows the team.  There wasn't another American gymnast close to her in qualifying.  It's not like she was handed a spot.  She competed and won the spot because she was hands down the best gymnast.  I have no idea why she isn't quitting other than not feeling like she is helping the team.  That's why there's an alternate spot. She may view it as being being the best decision for the team.  I will say part of it may have to do with what she perceives as the judges which favor European gymnasts mostly because they are not as athletic as the Americans. Her going out and being on the floor with her teammates is no different than any other athlete who bows out due to an injury.  She is supporting them.

I don't think people are fine to look at her as making the right decision for her health and the team.  I think it's fine to question her and whether she is making the right decision.  Whether she should push through whatever is making her not compete. I don't think she is a hero or that the people going overboard are really doing her any favors.  I don't think the people that are calling her chickenshit and unworthy have a Fing clue about what she is going through. I mean most of them are  men who could not beat Biles in any athletic or competitive endeavor.  Until they have competed at something even close to her level, they should just shut the F up.  Of course they won't because people like to be outraged and it will get clicks and attention.  I mean look how irate you are about some person that doesn't give a second thought to whatever you think.

Her decision should get a shrug of our shoulders as that's place in history.  This isn't anything other than one person making a decision based on what they think is best for them.  It isn't earth shattering and has happened thousands of times before without some delta being reached in human culture.  It could be made out of pure spite.  It could be that she has a serious anxiety condition that is related to her being sexually abused by people she trusted.  She may want to compete but thinks her other teammates are better than her and that she is hurting them. I would just be speculating.

Nice article about Lane Johnson's "Bro Barn" where a lot of guys have been working out.  A few quotes stuck out to me.

The first, regarding Hurts...uh OK.  Check his workout highlights he posts.

The 2nd quote I look at in two parts.  First, locker room banter and making fun of each other is one of the best things about sports and building a team.  Being able to rag on your buddies and get it back is one of the ultimate signs of acceptance to a team.  I wish our society wasn't so thin skinned.  Then regarding Herbig.  It's clear to me that he was just the big fat kid who was good at football.  He now has to work on being an athlete.  I'm really excited to see what he brings to the table.

Lastly, Lane Johnson, for as great as he is, only has 3 Pro Bowls?  Thought he had more.  4 more years is his goal.

-Hurts, not one to put the spotlight on himself, typically doesn't allow cameras into his workouts and declined to be interviewed by ESPN about them.

-Being on their best behavior doesn't keep the NFL players from making fun of one another. Herbig is often the target. He has been known to "bust his ass" (lose his balance and fall) during box jumps, as he did Monday. He also stumbled out of the gates one time during 10-yard splits and hit the deck, drawing the biggest smiles of the day. To this group, there is no greater gift.  But Herbig has also been one of the biggest success stories of this Eagles' offseason. He has dropped roughly 50 pounds and was on target to arrive at training camp at 325, while gaining strength. Some of those strides have been in pursuit of Johnson.

-Johnson, a three-time Pro Bowler, is entering his ninth NFL season. The scars running down either side of his ankle, the result of multiple surgeries over the past year, are reminders the game is taking its toll. The plan for now is to play four more seasons,

I found this interesting:

"He doesn't think he's above anybody," Herbig said. "He doesn't work like he's entitled to anything. He works like he owes you something. I have a lot of respect for that."

Herbig is talking about Hurts but the "above” and "entitled”, I think he may well be describing Wentz based on what McLane reported about the locker room.  I think Hurts has won them over with his work ethic.

Sounds like Lane has really instilled the work out bug in Herbig.  That and all the playing time has probably caused him to work harder.  I bet with the ten yard sprints and weight loss he can improve his speed which was an issue last year.  Real curious to see how he does in camp.

He was injured December 19th, do not see why he is not cleared to practice, especially when he is doing cartwheels an March 30th.

I think there are multiple reasons:

McLeod was injured December 13, and he is also not cleared.  Same timeline.

When Dickerson was doing the cartwheels, was that a kid doing stupid things, or was it sanctioned by a doctor tied to his future team?

NFL teams have a way of working through these injuries.  It was rather recent, and now that the training staff and team doctors have him right in front of them, they can ramp up activities under their close scrutiny before turning him loose.  Dickerson is Mr. Glass... let's not get in front of ourselves with him.   I am not expecting him until mid-season.  If he's available sooner, great.  If he's not available at all this season... so be it.   It was a terrible draft decision, but it is done.  Now they need to do what they need to do to get the most from him, with the least set backs and future injuries (not exactly this team's strong suit).

She's allowed to be there.

Hows she making it about her???

Last I heard she was still considering competing at the all around and Individually.

If she chooses to do that good for her if not oh well I'd hope her coaches and those who care about her care about her mental health more than they do her winning some arbitrary medal

I get the pressure she is under and couldn't relate to what she was feeling. But that reeked of checking out after not nailing the move. If she wasn't in the right frame of mind after that and felt it was best to pull herself out, then at least she recognized that. But that's the equivalent to Tom Brady pulling himself out of the Super Bowl after throwing an interception. I don't view this the same as Naomi Osaka where she didn't feel like speaking with the press. I understood that more than this one. Every single major athlete goes through stress. And the most admirable and celebrated ones are the ones who push through it to succeed.

I don't have an issue with what Biles did and I hope she gets right. I'm just not going to celebrate it as some major accomplishment like a lot of people are for "bringing awareness" to the situation.

Again, unsure if it's stressful or not. But if SHE IS, and SHE THINKS SHE IS... QUIT! GO HOME! RETIRE. Christ almighty it isnt rocket science.

If you're unsure then what's the big deal?

I'm not sure why you e resorted to typing in caps.

If she decides she's done competing but wants to stay and support her team I think she's earned that

If she wants to compete in pretty sure she's earned that.

If she wants to go home and rest I think she's earned that.

Either way whatever she chooses has zero bearing on my life
