You aren't looking at the big picture.  Minshew is signed through 2022.  He either re-signs with the Eagles, or if he leaves, the Eagles get a comp pick that is likely no lower than a 5th or 6th.  No so bad for a 2 year rental on a backup QB to recoup your investment.

Solid move, keep in mind Howie still values QB above all else, this is still the same organization that totally Over paid for a 30 year old Chase McDaniels to ride the bench.

Minshew is an inexpensive backup with starting experience who has won games 

I expect they keep All 3 qbs for the whole season
