If you had to pick one of these 3 in response to the question "So far, Has Devonta Smith been worthy of the 10th pick?" what would it be?

1. Can't tell because of the QB and scheme

2. No, he hasn't. You could tell regardless.

3. Yes, he has. He's played well.

The receivers had 7 targets today. But overall on the season, I go somewhere between 1 and 3.

Vikings defense coming up small late.

Nice to see Scott and Howard carry the rock for the birds again. Hope they continue to focus on the running game.

Epps and Edwards looked good on defense. I know it’s the lions, but great to see them have some nice plays.

At least before today Smith was on pace to break Jackson’s record for reception yards by a rookie so he has been playing generally well. He would be even better if someone could hit him on a crosser.

Vikings suck.

Cowboys are legit they could win the Super Bowl. Hope people are mentally prepared for that possibility

I would love to retain both. And draft one to eventually replace Slay. If he replaces Nelson, and Nelson demands a trade thats an ok problem to have. You get decent return for a decent starting CB.

I think/hope they at least retain Nelson. I can see them letting Maddox go (cap constraints) and assuming Zech can take over the slot role in year 2.

Nope, Nelson you hope gets the Maxwell contract.  He's above replacement level for sure, but he's good at best.  #comppick

Honestly,  if they did who cares?  I'd say welcome to the 21st century.

Kirk cousins is a Fing idiot

Meh. I’d still bet they don’t reach the NFCCG

Lol no. The Vikings suck.

They should move on from him and Zimmer.

A lot of Philly fans' mood hinges on the success of their own teams(which is nonexistent at the moment) or the misery of others. I wouldn't care, but for a lot of Eagles fans it'll be like they lost a loved one if the Cowboys won.

3. The all 22 show he is open all the time and one of the better players on the offense. Our QB is abysmal.

I fear we are wasting his first year of development trying to make Hurts look like a draft pick. Howie has single handily set his franchise back years.

The whole staff doesn’t make much sense either. Our draft pick Gainwell had 1 touch until we were up 37 points. Lol.

I just don’t see the game plan to develop players. I see rookie coaches completely learning on the fly and Howie it cracking the whip.

Yup. I don’t understand why Minnesota is so conservative with the offensive players they have. Zimmer has come crashing back down to earth since 2017. They have Jefferson, Cook and thielen and they only took like 2 shots down the field. They didn’t even bother getting cook involved in the passing game. That is part of what makes him great and is a mismatch regardless of who’s at LB.

Ya I know and it's sad.  I never like seeing an East rival win but it's not the end of the world.

It would be one thing if Dallas or the Giants were winning like the Patriots did the last 20 years but that hasn't been the case.

Kirk Cousins is the worst type of nightmare if you’re a Vikings fan. Not good enough to ever win you anything, but just good enough to convince ownership/management and coaching to stick with while the team constantly stays in purgatory.

That’s my biggest fear with Hurts. I’d rather him just prove that he’s not the guy moving forward instead of sticking it out with him for another few years.

People remember Howie comparing the Hurts pick to when they passed on Russel Wilson right?!
They couldn’t afford to lose another QB like Wilson in the draft.
Huge miscalculation by Howie. I hope the media goes back and finds those clips. Straight from the horses mouth.

Hurts is nothing like Wilson. Not even college Wilson.

I’d ignore my cowboy friends & people I follow on Twitter for a bit but I probably wouldn’t be that beat up over it

I don’t think Hurts is ever going to get near the level of Cousins. With how drastic of a difference today was I wouldn’t be surprised if Nick got the green light of "ok just do what it takes to win, you don’t have to make Hurts a thing.”

I actually think they do. Go look at the rest of their schedule. If Dak is good to go the rest of the season i think there’s a highly likely chance they could get HFA or the 2 seed. Their schedule is vs. broncos, vs. atlanta, at KC, vs. raiders, at New Orleans, at Washington, at giants, vs. Washington, vs. Arizona and at Philadelphia. The KC, raiders and NO stretch is likely the toughest they have. I think they likely are the favorite in 2 of those 3 games. And i don’t think it’s a given the chiefs just beat Dallas at home. The chiefs have looked awful at times this year.

The rams and cardinals play in a tougher division. Plus the cardinals will face the Seahawks twice with Wilson back, the rams again, Dallas. Plus murray is dealing with his shoulder injury. Rams still have the titans, ravens, Arizona, GB and Seahawks with Wilson back. I think it’s going to come down to Dallas and Bucs as the no. 1 seed. Really the Bucs only have the saints, bills and Indy left on their schedule that’s tough. Rest of the games are giants, Washington, Carolina twice, atlanta and jets.  GB has KC, seattle, rams, Baltimore and browns games. Really the cowboys and Bucs out of the rams, Arizona, GB have the easiest schedule going forward which could set up for hfa and potential bye as the 1 seed.

My whole reasoning is regardless of their seed McCarthy will screw something up in the wild card or divisional round.

He just won a game without his best players on the team and has done it all year. I today watched Bill Bellicheat, Sean McVey and Sean Payton just coach foolish. I think people need to come to grips that every single coach makes questionable calls.

I hope you are right. I kind of think your divisional round games is likely some sort of packers/Bucs/cowboys/rams. I think the rams defense is better than the cardinals and i think the cardinals caught the rams off an emotional win the week before against tampa. I think cowboys can beat any of those teams. McCarthy is a factor but they have the talent to beat any of those teams. Plus i think Dak can cover up for some of mccarthy’s downfalls. Frankly they were seconds away from beating tampa in week 1

IMO i think Dallas is going to benefit from playing in an awful division and being able to go 6-0 in the division.  Plus it’s a good year to face the chiefs and saints losing Jameis will catch up to them.

I’d argue Moore and Quinn just did that.
