Just to give you some idea for comparison on Hurts 51MPH Velocity..

Chad Henne has a 55 exit Velo and AJ McCarron was 54. LOL

that is a 51 exit velocity with no ability to step up.  I already posted hurts exit velocity at 54.

Mikey Miss took a deep dive in this(he's a former lawyer) and basically said this...

If Ruggs' defense team can prove that Ruggs wasnt the majority factor of the accident he may not get anytime. Meaning if the other guy ran a red light, if the other guy was speeding, etc etc.

With that being said, it looks like Ruggs drilled the back of this guy which is hard to prove anyone else at fault.

He's suggesting Ruggs would have an affirmative defense.  I don't think that's technically true but how it would potentially appear in Court.  Ruggs would not have to prove anything.  The prosecution has the burden of proving the death was caused by his impaired driving beyond a reasonable doubt.  Ruggs will hire an expert accident reconstruction expert(s).  The expert(s) will create some sort of report or opinion that points to negligent behavior of the other driver causing the accident.   It's no guarantee a jury would buy what the expert sells.  It may allow a prosecutor justification to offer a reduced charge.

Kind of hard to buy that since from the report and the photos it looks like he rammed them from behind. Even if they just quickly hit the brakes and he didn't have time to stop it shouldn't have caused that much damage.

Minshew chants break out when Hurts enters the 4th QB with less than 150 passing yards and 2 turnovers

We are just stockpiling late round CB's

the furthest thrown football ever recorded in history  is this one

notice mayfields ability to step up vs hurts on that one throw  big difference

One example does not equal data.

We will stipulate that Hurts can throw the ball 60 yards downfield.

However, please show an example of Hurts making an Elway, Favre, Payton - like throw over the middle.

Because....THAT IS WHERE VELOCITY MATTERS THE MOST.

I'll be happy to give you as much time as possible.

Just an OCD trade by Howie because he can’t help himself. He’ll be cut within a year,

Eagles continue to trade picks for players that they had on their board

All this talk about QB arms is making me miss Michael Vick.

IIRC he comes from LSU and is a small slot CB. We essentially traded Flacco for him.

Overview
Slot corner with average size but exceptional speed and athleticism. He could see his draft stock rise given his workout potential. Vincent has the hips, feet and burst to stay tight with routes as a pro, but only if he shows marked improvement with pattern recognition and his coverage technique. He's played (and practiced) against NFL-caliber competition and brings a resume full of experience against quality competition. His best football could be ahead of him, but he needs to fully transition from athlete to cornerback for that to happen.

Strengths

  • Scouts say he's hardworking and smart.
  • Has played free safety and slot corner.
  • Loose, agile and highly athletic.
  • Capable of mirroring release from a smooth pedal.
  • Easy feet and hips for fluid transitions.
  • Big acceleration to stay in phase against deep routes.
  • Track speed with rare recovery burst.
  • Clean change of direction in space.
  • Flashes impressive ball skills when he's able to contest the catch.
  • Actively seeks to undercut routes and make plays on the ball.
  • Upside talent if challenged and cultivated.

Weaknesses

  • Coverage can be loose and undisciplined at times.
  • Relies on athletic ability over technique.
  • Gets too grabby at the top of the route.
  • Pattern recognition is underdeveloped and needs work.
  • Ball instincts are below average.
  • Struggles finding football and establishing position downfield.
  • Panics with his back to the ball.
  • Needs better-timed attacks on the football.
  • Takes some poor angles as a tackler.
  • Stays wired to perimeter blocks and out of the process in run support.

But we have a good slot CB who's having a very good year. I'm not saying depth isn't important but... Draft capital for a depth guy? Strange.

He was a 7th round pick... And now just 8 games later we are giving up a future 6th? Ok...

Maddox is a FA. We will see if Howie extends him. To me they drafted his replacement in McPherson

Curious as to the roster moves this week.

They'll need to activate TE Jackson as well.

I wonder if they'll sign Howard to the 53
