Chargers have some really nice pieces in place, and with that amount of cap room, can really be aggressive this offseason. They're setup really nicely right now.

Yet the Vikes have the same amount of wins as us, and we don't even have a real QB.

On ESPN they are reporting the league is looking to move a few games as the positives pile up.

Geez, what kind of drugs are they smoking down in Cajun country. I don't think I have seen a cap in such bad shape.

Yeah I was thinking the same, they're going to have to cut half their team.

On the opposite end there will be 3 teams with 70+ mil cap space, the chargers are already pretty good, if they spend wisely they could really have a contending roster.

Eagles at 14 isn't much to work with but hey it's not -50 mil in the hole😳

Are you the one who tried to use that argument the other day?  Who cares what the Vikings record is....Is that how we are going to give Howie a pass for being incompetent?  Because of the failings of other franchises?

Not sure what you are talking about, but my comment was more about my disdain for the Vikings and their dumb Skol chant than letting Howie off any sort of hook.

Heck I'm the one advocating to trade away our picks for a QB because I know Howie will bungle them.

Sounds like the NFL is reneging on their threat to not move any games.

Hopefully Quez doesn't spread it throughout the team.

Looks like the Browns are getting hard. Stefanski just announced he had it

Didn't he get it last year too and missed a game?

Woof, the Browns got rekt.

How are the Chiefs in such good cap position? Seems like they've handed out a number of huge contracts since starting their Super Bowl run.

They are saying 7 teams are now working virtually because of COVID, any word on the Eagles?

Correct, I guess they meant this year when they said it on the radio

Baker is 66.4 yards, Herberts was 63.8

Some notable names while im looking, wentz with basically 59 and Hurts with 51, which is good for 29th-ish

Big Guy, with a big arm and knows football. Dolphins were trying to be too cute with the Tua pick.

^^^this is why I want Carson Strong

If Carson Strong is a Herbert clone then sign me up

Completed pass.

I don't even see that

I'm seeing people saying it was the best throw of the season

https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2021/12/13/22831687/justin-herbert-touchdown-chargers-vs-giants-best-throw-video

Here’s the advanced numbers on Herbert’s throw: it’s the second longest in-air completion of the year at 63.8 yards. That was the tenth touchdown pass of Herbert’s career that traveled at least 55 yards in the air, the most in the league over the last two years.

It was an impressive throw through. I doubt many could do it

Washington Football Team owner Dan Snyder tried to prevent a woman who accused him of sexual misconduct from speaking with D.C. attorney Beth Wilkinson as part of her investigation into the franchise last year.

Man eventually the NFL will just kick this dude out, which as an Eagles fan will suck because he might be the worst owner in the NFL.

Howie isn't their gm...

He's not.  He is a statue who goes down at first contact....he also drifts a ton in the pocket.  I would say a better comp would be Ryan Mallet.

I'd rather have Mallet than Hurts

I was looking through schedules in the AFC and the Chargers schedule if they can somehow beat Kansas City on Thursday night their last three games they should win them. They are the better team in every one of those last 3 games. They play houston, Denver and Vegas. They could potentially get the number one seed if New England loses twice down the stretch and NE plays the colts, bills and always struggles at Miami.

With the amount of cap space the chargers have this off-season they should be able to at least attempt to fix their run defense  and add a couple pieces to their defense. maybe an upgrade to the offensive line. They could be really scary next year if herbert progresses even more in his development and they upgrade the team around him. I also think Staley will be better in his second year especially if he gets better pieces on defense

Ryan Mallet is a great comp, IMO. I have no interest.

That being said, if I remember correctly Mallet failed because he was a lazy idiot. It had less to do with talent.

It wasn't.  Mayfield had one longer.  He might have meant it's the longest distance a ball traveled in the air on a completed catch....that might be true.

If you will quote me and tag the clown.  Bakers throw was longer, and Vicks throw on Monday night against Washington traveled the same distance.

Also, here is a link to the longest air yard completions of the 2018 season.  Josh Allen's was longer than Herbert.  I am sure I could find more, but the point has been proven and @Bacarty2 is wrong again.

And Beezos will buy them.  Win win for the NFL.

There's so much wrong the with Redskins it's hard to find a place to start.  Don't forget, the RG3 book is coming out soon and that will have even more dirt.

As an Eagles fan I thoroughly enjoy watching the drama around WFT unfold.  As a football fan, I think it's an unfortunate what Snyder has done to a franchise that used to be one of the premier ones in the NFL.  When Jack Kent Cooke ran the show in DC they were a model of how to run a franchise.  Now, it's a weird cesspool of harassment, scandal, and failure.

There's something plainly wrong with a franchise that has gone 2 years without bothering to have a name.  Last I heard they were down to, what -- 8 choices?

The task could have been accomplished in a month, even with something as simple as a referendum among fans.

@downundermike  There you go.  It's you're turn this week, I guess.  Have at it.

Wow Cutler had a 65 yarder in 2016....doesn't go back any farther than that.

To be fair, it's likely a money thing. Draw out this "Football Team" nonsense, sell a bunch of merch to the idiot fans....then after a few years, finally change it to something else, rinse and repeat.

Thanks providing a link showing you are wrong.  That link shows 5 throws longer, and 1 tied with Herbert.  As @TorontoEagle also provided, Cutler had one longer, and looking at the video, Vick's throw against Washington was longer.  So he is tied for 8th, and if we continue to look into it, we can find more.  Do you wanna admit you were wrong, or should I bury you again.

Here is a video, third one is Bradshaw throwing it 64 yards.

It’s definitely a money thing and a ploy to get more money down the road when they actually do change it.

As a fan though I would buy some of the WFT merchandise because if you sit on it With how the vintage market is, the value of that stuff is going to go up and people will eventually overpay when they can’t get WFT stuff as freely years from now. For instance the Atlanta thrashers who are no longer in existence have stuff on the vintage market that can be sold for 3 to 4 times the amount it was originally purchased for
