I never thought it possible, but he’s been extra crusty on Twitter lately.… The good news with all of this Hurts hype is that if the Eagles do upgrade, they can probably recoup a #1 pick by trading Hurts away.

Just a stupid argument to make, but considering the source it's not surprising.

The offense is pretty simple. Hand the ball off. I'm pretty sure at this point one of us could call the game.

I call the game every Sunday...

Which part? (I’m not trying to be a jerk. I’m just wondering)

Much has been said about the game management duties if Siri can't be on the sideline.  What about the play calling?  Who will handle that?  Or Siri will call from the hotel room?

Also, who gets the red challenge flag and throw it?

That we can get a 1st round pick.  Now, if he plays like he did against WFT for the next few games and for a playoff game, then maybe.  But of he does, they wouldn't trade him.

That's been established.

Playcalling - Steichen.

Game management - Patullo.

Merry Xmas. The funny thing about the put the Christ back in Christmas folks that bridle at Xmas, is their lack of understanding of the early church. X is the Greek letter Chi, the first letter in the Greek spelling of Christ.

What’s interesting is the continuing use by some of the Chi Rho amalgamation in some areas to this day.  image.png.3998b9ac53e21db2c6229a35df8ec847.png

Merry Christmas to all.

Lol sure. I’m sure the Saints were thrilled with losing Payton, their long time play caller and offensive guru for de facto HC, Defensive Coordinator Denis Allen

You act like they are losing him for the season. It will be one game and they will be fine. Petullo has been in the NFL longer than Sirianni. Steichen has been in the NFL roughly the same as Sirianni. Sirianni coached 14 games. It’s not a big deal he misses one. Even the beat writers aren’t making a big deal about it because everyone knows it’s not.

It’s not even like Sirianni has been perfect this season either. He’s had his collection of gaffes and questionable decisions. For one game it’s basically a net neutral circumstance.

I don't think any team is thrilled to lose their HC for a game.  But they were defintily better well equipped for losing Payton for a game since Denis Allen has been in the league for over 20 years including 2 1/4 year as a head coach in the league.

And yeah, Sirianni had a collection of gaffes and questionable decisions especially early on in the season when he was new to this.  That is all a big reason why we lost the 49ers game.  That is why this is a big deal.  This is a game we shouldn't lose but with the short week and now this it is an equalizing factor that makes this game dangerous.  It's beyond foolish to just brush it off as a total non-factor and even more foolish to act like the Eagles are one of the best teams equipped for this sort of thing in the league when they are one of the worst when you look at the inexperience across the board.
