Jimmy G looked off last night.  But seems like an ideal QB for the system we are running here.

I'd consider trading one of our first round picks for him.

I stand corrected.  The search capabilities are much better than I remembered them being, and my efforts to find the comment I referenced have come up empty, so my guess is that the comment was on a different Board ... either that or my brain got cross-wired with the Cousins info.

His inability to stay healthy is why the Niners are moving on from him.  I would have concerns giving up a first, but I agree the ability is there to run the system we believe Nick wants to run.

It's scandalous to say, but I think I'd rather the Cowboys win this week. It gives us better options moving forward if we somehow lose to Washington next week. We could still squeak in if we beat the Giants and Cowboys, while the Vikings lose to the Rams and Packers. We'd need the Saints to lose at least once too which is why it wouldn't be the worst thing in the world if the Dolphins win on Monday.

Dallas is already in so who cares what they do between now and the playoffs? I'd just rather have the Redskins fall further behind, though to be honest they still have a decent shot to make it if they lose to Dallas since their tiebreak scenarios are very favorable for them.

No. He didn’t coach his game last Sunday 

Saints are playing a rookie on Monday against a hot dolphins team, very likely they lose. Time to give up hope that our firsts are going to be top 15, it's better for us if the dolphins win on Monday. 

I thought I remembered someone saying they would trade a 1st for Jimmy G during the off-season. But there’s a good chance after reading put Mailata at RB, convert Reagor to CB, draft Malik Willis and put him in the backfield with Hurts, Graham is right up there with Reggie White, Sirianni is the next Bill Walsh, rabbits with guns, we should have stayed at 6 for Parsons, it was dumb to take an NFL job for a 30 year old, Hurts would end the season with over 5,000 yards passing, and having an Astro-physicist explain how Hurts has top of the NFL arm strength my brain went to mush.

Don’t forget sirianni was going to make JJAW useful and gainwell is a better runner right now than sanders

This one would have been a good idea, if we had not screwed the pooch so many times in the draft and FA/trade acquisitions at WR and had to draft another one.

Safe to say we would have shattered the all-time record (3296), if we had adjusted the offense earlier.

No it's not. Not for either pick. The Eagles making the playoffs this year just to get their asses bounced in round one because their defense has massive holes and Hurts sucks is great for beer sales in the area but pointless. Getting a higher pick so they can improve the team is better for them actually winning down the line. But but but anything can happen. Dream on. What has generally happened the last few years is the person they want gets taken just before them in multiple rounds. Take the lumps this year and build for the future. They have to play to win. Wise people don't have to root for it.
