Purdue/Tennessee game is getting pretty crazy. I turned it off earlier because it was so one-sided but now it's 45-45 inside of 2 minutes to play. Both teams have over 600 yards of offense.

Tennessee got screwed

Watched about a minute of Zamir and wasn't impressed by anything.  Brown looks good though.

The one you watched of Zamir is not a highlight video. It wasnt made to be super impressive.  Youd have to actually evaluate what you see. Its not spoonfed highlights....

Not surprised you liked the Brown one. Thats a highlight video.

White has torn both ACLs, but I like him late.

Im just watching some more guys now, and theres ANOTHER big, power back in this draft. Chris Rodriguez Jr, from Kentucky has run over guys in other SEC defenses. Its easy to say he has legit strength and power. He averaged over 7 ypc against 7 man boxes in 2020, playing for an inferior team in the toughest conference. The weakness, according to the scouting report, he doesnt catch the ball- never had to even going back to middle school just wasnt part of his offenses.

was not aware. Guess thats why he hasnt burst on to the scene as a feature guy. I do like him as a pure RB better than Cook though.

This draft is lacking a top 5-10 type talent, but theres plenty to like in the mid-late rounds. I feel like Im liking almost everyone as I continue to dive deeper in to the rankings.

How that wasn't a TD is beyond me.

Oh I know, but after a minute there wasn't anything I was seeing that would necessitate further viewing. For a guy that supposedly has power it was a lot of him instantly getting tackled at the line and not picking up any extra yards after contact.

Thats a gross exaggeration

Really??? I thought I undersold it.

Awful RB class  , that said , I’m a fan of cook  , nice receiver too , low miles

Goodson another back who is a heck of a receiver too

Abram Smith might be my favorite RB

Cincy has been good to the Eagles. Ford follows his blocks, gets N-S, runs through arm tackles, not bad top-end speed. Certainly in the Howard mold.

I'll be there Sunday. Let's make it a home game.

No. Those pockets are due to deliberate social policy, when you say low income housing drags down everything, what you mean is "I got mine, f--- you."  Stay in your ghetto with no tax base, no political power and no resources. Have your kids go to substandard schools in crime ridden neighborhoods, while mine go to well funded schools in areas with a high tax base. But "it's an equal playing field" so stop complaining. You should have had the right ancestors.

At least be honest about it, you'd just as soon as send "them" to workhouses, like they did in the Eighteenth Century.

This is laughable

what i mean is take care of your own. We are not in this together if someone is a marginal negative on society.

do i want morons having political power to grow the welfare state? No. Not at all.

likewise i dont want old fools such as yourself guiding anything either. Let the failures fail. Thats how a sustainable system works.

Looks like Cook and Goodson are easily the best pass catching backs. I think Goodson is a better runner.

Neither is the type of back Im looking for for the eagles.

Well what we got now is not working. We end up with generations of under prividlideged families who send thier kids to failing schools, so we lesson the standards on the backend - which is a poor bandaid.

I know if I was a struggling parent, I'd want the best I could do for my kids, so busing them into a better school district would be what I would want. Why should where you live decide how good of an education your child gets? Especially when where you live, is based soley on what you can afford?

Well equal schools across the board is a potential solution although not easy to do as schools are currently fashioned by school districts, a method that made sense in a time when  most Americans were on farms (one room schoolhouses) and in small towns. Then suburbs versus inner city sprung up, most times with separate districts.  So maybe we should do away with overly bureaucratic administrations and focus on academics.  The right to an education is guaranteed in the Commonwealth’s constitution. So a statewide approach.  But we also need to keep the curriculum zealots out of the mix too.  If anyone can figure out how to avoid those politics, they should have at it.

But Hillary was right about it taking a village.  When parents and others in the community have the time to participate in the child’s education, the child fares better.  So raising the family out of poverty matters so all have time to participate.  The child tax credit was a good start.   AFan is right about placement of affordable housing.

Really, really like Kevin Harris from South Carolina as well, in the physical RB mold.

However, theres a highlight video from 2020, and you can noticeably see a difference in his long speed from the beginning of the video, till the end where it looks like he is dragging a leg. Must have been some injury there.

Master Teague is in this class now as well. I forgot about him. Tons of guys to take on day 3.

Had a really good Mayo Bowl (31/182)  - like you said he still seems to have a slight hitch in his gait. Statistically, it seems as though he lost about 1/3 of his productivity since last year - not getting those long runs in 2021 I figure.

That's what she said....

Fatwood and Birch Bark CAN save your life.  Never got that close for me but I was real cold one time in the Alleghanies and Birch Bark sparked up. I had to hold a spot on a real search and rescue for hours.  And while it was not panicky gonna die, I sure felt better when it caught.

If you check out that video I posted, he was fast. Something changed in that gait at some point you see it on the last few runs in the same video.

I saw no south carolina games this year. I dont know what he looks like currently. He went from easy 4.4 to Jay Ajayi. Shame to see.

Rooting for JJ to go full TO on Minnesota.

Sour grapes, but whatever.
