Ehh Florio tends to go a little overboard, especially when it comes to his Vikings.

Rooting for JJ to go full TO on Minnesota.

Sour grapes, but whatever.

I thought this was the sterling organization that saw fit to publicly dunk on another team for a 1st round whiff? Certainly THAT organization couldn't be dysfunctional? After all, Rick Spielman has won soooo much in his career.

If you check out that video I posted, he was fast. Something changed in that gait at some point you see it on the last few runs in the same video.

I saw no south carolina games this year. I dont know what he looks like currently. He went from easy 4.4 to Jay Ajayi. Shame to see.

No, I watched it - he really flashed, very impressive. He’s better now than where he ended 2020, but the explosion/top end just isn’t the same.

Foles in alternate Black or Dawkins in Green to represent Sunday in DC?

Just got back from Licorice Pizza, great movie.  One of Paul Thomas Anderson's best films and his best since The Master. Might be the best movie of the year.  It's between that and The Last Duel. Just so we'll written, acted, directed and fantastic soundtrack.

"You know [Mailata] and Landon, over there on the left side, is a serious problem for pretty much everybody we face,” Johnson said Wednesday. "That’s the biggest side in the league, so they’ve been making waves all year. I think both of them, together, have worked extremely hard. And I mean, you see it, these guys are just demolishing people game after game after game. There’s never been a tackle that big, that size, and can move the way he can,” Johnson said. "He’s still a puppy. ... Jordan is gonna be as good as he wants to be. Size, speed, power, strength is unmatched.”

Have to figure out another replacement for Kelce - Landon and Mailata are too great of a duo to break up.

Yeah for sure they shouldn't move Landon inside. They need to keep him at LG and either move Seumalo inside or draft a C.

Can Seumalo slide over to RG?  He could also be an attractive trade option for some teams.

Good Morning Blog!  I’m glad 2021 is almost over!  Why do I feel like the birds will lay an egg!

Agreed, those two mastodons need to stay put on the left side. I do think there's a chance we can get Kelce to stay another year which would be ideal. If not, Linderbaum becomes a draft priority or Patterson from ND is intriguing after round 1.

Do you feel our Vols got screwed?

We still need a RG ourselves.

No. Those pockets are due to deliberate social policy, when you say low income housing drags down everything, what you mean is "I got mine, f--- you."  Stay in your ghetto with no tax base, no political power and no resources. Have your kids go to substandard schools in crime ridden neighborhoods, while mine go to well funded schools in areas with a high tax base. But "it's an equal playing field" so stop complaining. You should have had the right ancestors.

At least be honest about it, you'd just as soon as send "them" to workhouses, like they did in the Eighteenth Century.

England had workhouses into the second half of the 20th century. Our meat-packing plants are no joy either.

Having just read the posts about the draft, has anyone looked at the impact of drafting 3 players in the first round on a franchise?  Anecdotally, I don't recall a lot of success from the Browns/Vikes when they did it.  My gut feeling is that at least 1 1st round pick will be moved to next year - especially if there is potential to go get a QB in 23 draft or at least the option to do it. It makes sense to give yourself that flexibility, or pick at another position.

The problem is that the combination of any two of the Eagles' three Round One choices isn't going to get you to a high enough pick to get one of the studs.  They can hypothetically get you to pick #5 if you are lucky, but the studs are likely to go #1 and #2.

And let's say someone is still there?

And some light entertainment

I’m still skeptical about Dickerson injuries and that’s another reason I wouldn’t move him. I think there’s less impact if you have to bring a guy off the bench to play G vs C

In what context?  The impact on the franchise is it gives you the ability to plug 3 starters in with minimal salary cap implications.

The Eagles right now would be picking #19, 20, and 23.  Last season that was Jamin Davis, Kadarius Toney, and Christian Darrisaw.  Those 3 guys together are making a total $41M over 4 years.  That's about $3.4M per player per season.  How much will it cost to sign 3 UFA to play DE, CB, S for instance?  Much, much more than $41M total over 4 years.  Add to that, you know you have full control over that player for 4 years plus a 5th year option, plus a franchise tag for another year if so choose.

The advantage of trading one of the picks into 2023 is you're getting the benefit of trading with a team who needs a player now and can't/won't wait one additional year -- and the Eagles would theoretically get a premium return for doing it.  What you hope is the DET, JAX, NYJ, or even PIT of the world want to make that trade up, and are willing to give a 2023 1st in exchange.  That kind of trade you jump at because the pick would likely be a top 5-10 in 2023.

Awful RB class  , that said , I’m a fan of cook  , nice receiver too , low miles

I like a lot of middle-round RBs.

I agree there's no elite-level RB prospect in this class. That will come next year with some combination of Robinson, Gibbs, Ibgrahim, Bigsby, etc.

@LeanMeanGM

Haven't done one in a while but most important game of the season thus far.  I am likely deluded but I'm feeling a strong game by the Eagles.  Start strong, finish strong.

Yep , I’m also a fan of Sincere McCormick  , another two way back , very productive after contact

for me you have to be a runner and a receiver , easier to play D on a back who can’t catch
