Time will tell, I suppose.

Incidentally, did you know that Seumalo played 4 OL positions in college?   Ironically the one he didn't ever play...

LG.

Lol figures, I actually thought when he played at RT as a rookie I think for a few games in place of Lane he looked pretty good. He doesn't have ideal length for OT in the pros but he has the feet for it.

I knew he played all over in college was t aware the one he did t play is his current LG position but that seems a very eagles thing to do, at least Howie didn't switch him to DT🤷‍♂️

We ain’t good enough to do so.

Oh, I know that, you know that, but there are some folks that already have their playoff tickets punched.   One game at a time, especially for a team that dropped a game to the Giants.

Well, at least the Vikings are done. Here's to another Sunday Night Football snoozer.

What a shame. Just about to be 100.

I think IOL is a bigger need than people realize.

Kelce is leaving.

Seumalo had a bad injury/we don't know how he'll do at center.

Brooks is gone.

Dickerson has an extensive injury history.

Driscoll can't stay healthy.

Herbig is solid depth.

If a top center (Linderbaum) is there, take him.

Given Stoutland's track record coaching up OL prospects, I'll just go with his rankings.

If he thinks Seumalo or Driscoll can play center, they probably can, if not, then he'll tell Howie to get him a center prospect or two.

Well Desmond Ridder band wagon guys this is his best chance to climb the draft today.

Whether Seumalo plays C or even RG, he can't take back LG. Gotta let Mailata and Dickerson continue to grow together.

I think the Eagles bring competitive this year increases the chances of Kelce coming back. Competitive team, cement his HOF legacy. Seems tough to pass up.

Dickerson...

I've got Mailata -  Dickerson - ??? - ??? - Lane

With Kelce, draft pick, Seumalo, Driscoll, and Brooks as the names to plug in the OC/RG ???'s.  I don't see Brooks as a viable option and I don't see Driscoll as a good option.  Even if Kelce returns to lock down center (or if we draft an OL round 1), I still see Seumalo somewhere in the starting 5.

Match up watch:

"Sauce" Gardner VS Jameson Williams.

This is going to be fun to watch.

From this alum to the couple other ones on here. Roll Tide!

Disagree. If he’s there, grab him.

For the last several years Kelce has been our most valuable OL. Linderbaum is the closest thing to him you will ever see. Seumalo goes to RG and we have a beast OL.

What we don’t know about these OCs is their level of football IQ. An understated part of Kelce’s game is his role in making line calls. I really like Linderbaum.  You and I have been discussing him since last season.   I think he has a chance to be a top C in this league but I don’t think he is quite the athlete Jason is.  I also suspect that when Kelce retires the OL will take a step backwards on line calls.

Part of me hopes the Eagles talk Kelce into one more year and draft Linderbaum so the latter has a year to learn from him.  I think Stout is a great OL coach (and running game coordinator), but you can see Jason Peters and Lane Johnson technique in both Mailata and Dillard.  That opportunity to take in from those two certainly helped them along in their development, I suspect.

As I celebrate another sports year of not having gotten a single thing wrong regarding sports, I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy new year.

And let's go Penn State tonight in the football playoff. James Franklin is going to show the world how great he is.

My prediction: Penn State - 61 Cincinnati - 3

Bryce Young looks like a child out there next to Ridder.

That's where I am.  The left side of the line, if they can stay healthy and continue to improve, can be the most dominant in the NFL.

Take note Siri. Run the ball. Lol

There are people in this blog worried about Lane Johnson, as he's posting an all-pro season. OTs are playing until they're 40. Lane is currently 31; he's here for another 3-4 years.

Bama's O-Line is reminding me of our O-Line, just moving people at will.

Brandon Joseph is entering the transfer portal rather than the draft… Catalon has announced he’s going back to Arkansas. For a team that needs safeties, this draft appears to be drying up (still have Brisker, Cine, Battle as choices, but it could get thin past the 2nd).

Always been a little thin.  I suspect that we see Vincent taking snaps at FS with Mayden next summer.   Vincent is light for a S but has the right skills.

LOL - Hurts not even in the top 40 according to SImms. Sounds about right. Though I dont think it matters much at all once you get out of the top 25 QB's

Hell if you arent in the top 20, then you really dont have a QB.
