Andrew Whitworth.

A red zone play action screen pass... wow.

LOL - Hurts not even in the top 40 according to SImms. Sounds about right. Though I dont think it matters much at all once you get out of the top 25 QB's

Hell if you arent in the top 20, then you really dont have a QB.

I think that was put out before this season

Cincy has their own Barnett, I see.

🤣  One guy, who is the oldest O lineman in the NFL.  I wouldn’t consider one guy, a pattern.  Lane’s mental and injury history wouldn’t make me confident that he would be the next guy to play till 40.  Don’t hold your breathe.

You asked for a good 40 year old OT and I gave you one.

Duane Brown is 36 and still good. Peters was still good at around 36, before injuries KOed him.

Lane will be fine.

Peters is 39 ... 40 in January.

Beavers.

Think the eagles could like this guy.

Whether Seumalo plays C or even RG, he can't take back LG. Gotta let Mailata and Dickerson continue to grow together.

I think the Eagles bring competitive this year increases the chances of Kelce coming back. Competitive team, cement his HOF legacy. Seems tough to pass up.

Yup, Kelce looks like he's still got a few years in him, would hate to lose him.

I think Dickerson and Mailata on the left are dynamic together and no reason to mess with it and don't see a reason seumalo can't play RG.

I'm kind of surprised Brooks never made it back this year but eagles didn't really miss a beat without him, brooks is an elite pass blocking guard and the eagles don't pass a ton, Driscoll and Herbig have held down the fort.

I actually like Herbig better than Driscoll, Driscoll doesn't anchor that well and has those short arms, and Herbig doesn't struggle to anchor as much and moves a lot better since losing weight, give him another off season with lane and I only see him getting better.

Seumalo Dickerson Driscoll and Herbig can all play center though none obviously  at the level of Kelce not sure if Linderbaum could either.

But at some point eagles are going to have to get figure out what to do at center when Kelce eventually goes.

There are people in this blog worried about Lane Johnson, as he's posting an all-pro season. OTs are playing until they're 40. Lane is currently 31; he's here for another 3-4 years.

The avg is higher but no were near 40. I can see 34-36 being a more acceptable number there to use as an example.

But on another point, I have no problem with people being worried about Lane hanging up the cleats in the next year or two. He did just step away from the game for weeks and publicly said he was considering retirement. I think when a player says that its a fair point to be concerned how long he will keep playing.

Isn't that the list he posted at the beginning of the season and recently admitted that he was wrong about Hurts?

And any list that has Joe Burrow at 17 is (obviously) not to be taken seriously.

Peters blows and has not been playing at a starter level for at least 2-3 years now. So you can say 37 for him since hes been so invisible on the field its like he retired already.

For the last several years Kelce has been our most valuable OL. Linderbaum is the closest thing to him you will ever see. Seumalo goes to RG and we have a beast OL.

I don't think we need to replace Kelce with the same type of player as him. We could have a good offense with a more traditional center (think Jackson instead of Fraley). Kelce is just special, so we'll run those sweeps/tosses with him.

Sauce and Williams going at it.

I still got alabama by 14/17 by end of game

I watch Bryce Young and see Hurts all over again. QBs who have a great scheme and studs on the team around them that make them look better then they are. He picks one rec and just eyes him down the whole play. Doesn't set his feet, no progression reads. Give me a pocket QB, enough with these one read QBs. The more i watch these "future" QBs in Riddler, Young, Willis etc the more I just want to bite the bullet with a guy like Pickett or wait and suck for 3 years and go all in on the next Manning.

Desmond Ridder is not a good prospect. Wouldn't touch him in the first 3 rounds.

3rd pass that's been batted down. Is that a reoccurring thing for Ridder? Low release point or something?

Beat me to it.  Of course as Eagles fans we're used to seeing that with our QBs no matter who they are.

It's weird, he's 6"4 so it's not like it's a height issue.

One guy who just turned 40 three weeks ago

Could be a combo of him not throwing over the top and Alabama's DL being trained to keep their eyes towards the QB and get their arms up when they see him go into a throwing motion.

Wentz is 6'5", but seemed like he got more passes batted down than he should have while our DL rarely batted down a pass.  I feel like it's been that way for nearly 20 years now where our QBs get an abnormally amount of passes swatted down at the LoS while our DL fails to be able to do that.

They need to have Sauce shadow Jameson, Bryant can't handle him.

Well that confirms he will be a bust. Parks loves those one read QBs
