I can almost guarantee you, that’s not how this game will start.

I'm not saying it will, I'm saying it should.

All this is, is RTK trying to pump up intangibles because that is Hurts strongest quality. I will take arm talent, reading defenses, actual QB things over silly intangibles.

Question for you @RememberTheKoy, why is skipping a bowl game such a red flag, but running away to another college after losing your job OK ??

He didn't run away to another college. He came back the next year and stayed.  Had a big moment in the SEC championship game when Tua got injured and Hurts came in to lead the come back and win the game.  Then in his senior year he transferred.

Kidding (kind of) aside, it has less to do with Hurts and more to do with the troll himself. He will spend all day talking about these intangibles Hurts has and this leadership, while sweeping his flags under the rug and putting another kid on blast for looking out for his future.

It's to show him what a trolling piece of garbage he is, not to go out of the way to bash Hurts.

Don't need to cut down another so vehemently to show what somebody is.

I correctly predicted last week that a weird thing would happen in the game against the Giants... and we got a OT eligible TD pass.  Today, I'm predicting another weird occurance, but this time negative for the Birds.  You'll know it when you see it.

The best way to deal with trolls is to put them on Ignore.  I consider myself fortunate that the only time I see the words of half a dozen posters here is when someone quotes them.  For example, I would enjoy EaglePhan1986's posts a whole lot more if he would stop quoting olsilverhair.

Why did he transfer??  Bailed on his teammates for every game that season, not just one meaningless bowl game at the end.

You are prejudging the outcome.  If and when they actually do play a Playoffs game, try to enjoy it.

If there is one thing you should be able to glean from this message board over the past year, it is that certain posters will never enjoy an Eagles game in which Jalen Hurts plays qb. They only watch in hopes he plays poorly. And they will never stop complaining about him until he is no longer the qb, regardless of how he or the team does.

So to them, winning and making the playoffs is not something to take any joy from, and in fact makes them more miserable.

The draft is fine this year...it's just not top heavy. Having a top 10 pick last year > this year.

Yeah, it's a depth draft more than an elite prospects draft.

I hear you.  That has become one of the dominant characteristics of this Blog this year.

Meh, I try to tune it out. It's mostly just a handful of posters on both sides who can't stop going at each other.

Because it was his final year of eligibility. He didn't bail on his teammates though, he came back the next season after he lost his job with Tua.  Earned a huge ount of respect from his teammates and Saban.  Had Saban choking up signing his praises after that SEC game.

Shows the level of desperation you have when you try to compare these two things when one actually shows the selfishlessness of Jalen compared to the total selfishness of Pickett.

But again, the red flags that Pickett displayed by his decision have nothing to do with Hurts.

False narrative. Being able to point out the flaws in the team and players does not mean you do not root for and enjoy winning.

Being honest that this team fed on the 10 worst teams in the league since week 8, and will not compete with TB, DAL or ARI in a playoff game is not hate, it’s facts.

Im more realistic then most as an ex player.

Our defense blows. Any decent team will destroy us. I don;t want to hear our defense has been better over the last 4-5 weeks cause who we have played is a major factor.

I guess in turn, yes I know Hurts doesnt have the ability to win a shootout with his decision making and accuracy. So even though I am happy to see Nick put the offense in good situations by seeing what Hurts weakness is and go to a more dominate running game. I dont think this defense can defend against any of the playoff teams offenses so it comes down to our offense going away from what we had success with to have a chance.

So has more to do with the defense then Hurts deficiencies.

Likely? More like foregone conclusion.

maybe a team has a bunch of covid list guys the week we play them. If you can knock Dallas out that way, it would be fun to hear their fans crying about that.

He could have played that final year of eligibility at Alabama, he chose to bail on his teammates.

I have no dog in this fight and I don't read everything posted in here so take this for what it is worth.  My observation is that the majority of people in here not high on Hurts still like him and enjoy watching him play.  They just don't believe he is the long term answer.

Note: I'm sure there are some exceptions and some posters that just don't like him and perhaps even root against him.

I dont like him or dislike him. His hype videos online influencer "leadership" style doesnt convinve me to find him likeable. He may be a good teammate. But he sucks at playing QB. So regardless of whether he is likeable or not, I dont enjoy watching him play. Its painful to watch him F up so many times through each game.

But I am enjoying watching the team with this dominating run game.

He didn't bail on them though. Tua had established himself as the starter for a full season there. This wasn't bailing on his team heading into a bowl game. And you know this, at least I hope you know this.  I hope for your sake you aren't this stupid but then again maybe you are.

Why didn’t he stay and beat Tua out in a QB competition.  I mean, he is the better QB, right ???

This is me as well

Love the run game but wish we had a QB that could make the throws, read a defense, and go through the progressions

I just roll my eyes when he starts to scramble in a clean pocket

Probably because I am one of very few who is always objective whether it proves me right or wrong. Most topics are taken to the extreme on either side by an overwhelming majority of biased agenda driven posters.
