I will also add that I think resting all of the starters last Saturday was an insanely dumb and arrogant move by the Eagles.  Sirianni loves to tout that they are all about "competing".....How is that competing?  How is that prepping your team for the postseason.  It's clear that they thought their work is done.

Nothing to really play for.  They have a slim chance to win vs TB and just want to make sure everyone is healthy as possible.

Is there a link so that the board gets "referral” credits?

I need to post more often so @4for4EaglesNest focuses his rage on me vs other posters that report him which leads to him getting suspended.   I’m his "safe place”.   No reporting here, go for it.  :P

I don’t report; I ignore.

You’ve probably gone over this already but if Kelce retires, who do you think is currently best suited to take over the center role?   Or should they look for one in the draft?

Time to settle a bet.  @Freshmilk and I had regarding Devonta Smith.  The terms:

If he hits or goes over 1,000 yards FreshMilk can pick 4for4 avatar that will be used for 3 months.   If he finishes the season under 1,000 yards 4for4 will pic Freshmilk's avatar that will be used for 3 months.  Smith finished with 916 yards.

So Here you go.  Enjoy.

If you use the attached links to order products from these services, the board receives advertising revenue that VaBeach_Eagle uses to keep the board running.   For all you married folk, get the Amazon link to your spouse who has an Amazon habit.  I am sure we can fund the board for years that way.

Meh. We hear that same song and dance from him or his mom every year. The first year he was so hurt he couldnt pull his pants down to go pee but he played through it. Last year was a calf. Now this. But he somehow is almost always healthy enough to not show up on the injury report with these things.

I saw the picture of the finger.   It's a little gnarly.

Oh well the whole image doesn’t come over.  But the most important part does.  🙂

I wonder if you get used to it and keep it around 3 months past the agreed upon date like @DEagle7 did with the Reagor bet.  His was of a bronie

After work I'll try to shrink it to make it fit.  I'm anxious for the board to see my unicorn and pecs.  Big part of who I am.

For all those in the social justice messages are gonna make people not watch the NFL crowd

Fair enough, although I do still think they are a little too eager to just write everything off due to something else

The "best candidate" is highly subjective, and it's well known that your network determines your job opportunities, in and out of football. People hire those who they know and/or feel comfortable with, so if the people hiring are white, with a network of white football guys with whom they've socialized for decades, they're going to hire out of that group.

There are numerous studies showing that if a "black name" is on a resume, even though the resume is identical to that submitted with a white name, that applicant is far less likely to be interviewed for a job. Implicit racism is still widespread, especially when combined with "signals" that also denote class.

So combine the "good ole boy" networks with implicit racism, and minority candidates have large hurdles to overcome.

nah, were talking the nfl here.

In other news….what do you guys think of Quez Watkins?   Has he made the leap to be considered a starter in the NFL?

Hard to tell in this offense. His highlight reel this season is pretty impressive. Gets good separation on the few coaching film clips I've seen. Probably a low end 2, high end 3 type of guy.

It’s about 30 percent where I live. My wife came down with it first Sunday morning. While she was quarantining my son tested positive two days later. So it’s just my daughter and me, and I just checked her temp and it’s 100.4. I’m fully boosted and haven’t felt anything. My two home tests were negative.

I am just figuring either I have had it and didn't know or I am getting it soon. I hope everyone in your family recovers soon.

Probably draft and go with Isaac... I'd give Stout a developmental center prospect and a year to work with him, and Isaac can hold down the position if Kelce retires.

The OL question I had was whether we pick up Dillard's 5th year option, which I believe needs to be figured out by early-May.  We probably want to trade him (I'd guess), but if that doesn't happen until the summer.. does the other team value a cheap 1-year deal more than a 2-year contract with a guaranteed escalator?

It's fine. Just needs some tape.

#3 WR IMO. He has a clear skill (vertical WR) who can open up space for Smith/Goedert.

We lack a #2 WR who can win on 3rd down.

A 25 percent chance at a couple of 3s!

They would be in this years draft or is it 2022 and 2023?  Are they tradeable or has the untradeable comp pick rule changed?  Having 3 1st round picks with the potential to trade down as well as 2 or 3 3rd round picks would be serious ammo.

You could potentially have 2 picks in the first 3 rounds, 1 in the 4th, 3 picks in the 5th and a 6. Howie could make up for all of his crap drafting with 2021 and 2022 drafts.

I dont know if he is a starter. I think he is more of a role player at this point. Someone you can put in to exploit a matchup. They still need a reliable #2 WR to really open up the offense.
