This backed up my point. It mentions Unvaccinated players NUMEROUS times and doesnt mention vaccinated players.

It mentioned NOTHING about what hoops theyd jump through or mountains theyd move if it was a outbreak of vaccinated players

I even highlighted the important parts for you. Who cares about the vaccinated players, they WILL postpone and reschedule as much as the schedule allows for unvaccinated players. You think the NFL is going to give up all the revenue associated with a game because 3 people on one team at most are unvaccinated and tested positive? Lol. Guess what they are going to do with vaccinated players….

Postpone and reschedule the games!

I suppose we do.  I think we agree with e45... compared to what Howie has been doing, not extending players would likely lead to more savings than his recent spending sprees.

No, we both don’t agree with E45. I’m not sure where you got that at all. E45’s point wasn’t about Howie. It was in general. And he’s wrong.

Thanks.  Paprika with coffee... an interesting pairing.

I suppose.  I was agreeing with him that if Howie stopped extending early... he'd save money.  Outside of Howie, that is not true.

Goedert, Mailata, etc. would be signing their second contract.  Doing this with your draftees is the right thing to do.

What Howie failed at was free agent contracts and giving guys like Kelce, Lane, and Brooks a third contract.  All in the attempt to keep the championship window open after 2017.

The FO is now in build mode, rather than sustain mode.

Even when you decide to clean up your diet, it takes a few days for the bad stuff to get through your system.

Howie needs to focus on signing young players early to extensions. His issue has been players on their second or third contracts. Like you or someone else mentioned earlier, it’s extending Alshon for no reason, extending Brooks with two years left on his deal. That’s bad business for sure.

'Twas I.   You forgot the Desean reworked deal after trading for him... same with Slay.

Another targeting call LOL.

Runner throws his head down at the last minute, changes the angle of contact and the point of contact.

Terrible product on TV right now

Louisville looks terrible.

No, they said if a player(s) who is unvaccinated they wont rescehduled or postpone.

If you think the NFL is going to treat vaccinated and unvaccinated players the same your dreaming.

IF you think think a team thats 100% vaccinated gets an outbreak will have the same treatment of a team who has an outbreak caused by an unvaxxed player,  you're crazy.

This you? Wanna stop moving goal posts now?

They will play all the games regardless of vaccination status. If they can’t play as originally scheduled they will postpone and reschedule regardless of vaccination status. This isn’t that hard.

Id do it. I cant promise to be competitive. I dont spend nearly enough time following the rest of the league these days. But Ill be an active manager if you need.

Blog Fantasy Football League notes:

On ESPN
non-PPR (points per reception)
Standard scoring
Snake draft, randomized positioning

We should probably make team names our EMB usernames so we know who everyone is easily.

Going for at least 10 people. So far we have 8 who have expressed interest.

For a ribs rub, I go with SPOG + CR

(Salt, pepper, onion, garlic + cayenne, rosemary)

For a brisket rub, just SPOG

For steaks, just salt and pepper only. Maybe topped with some butter for filets that aren't well marbled.

I like a little cumin on my pork rubs. Sometimes some chili powder. Got to play with spices.  For some cuts , when I plateau and wrap I might add a sprig or two of rosemary, thyme or even oregano.  I go lighter on the salt because of my age and weight. Pepper on everything.  Best for steaks is marbled fat up grill. Agree on butter on less marbled cuts. I tend to add a bit of garlic with the butter.  But for a lean cut like a London broil (usually top round) I like a balsamic vinegar, soy and red wine marinade.  And I like to marinade my skirt steak too.  All depends on the cut of meat and what I am hungry for.  I will sacrifice decent bourbon on occasion with a cut like a sirloin for a bourbon marinade.  A friend injects some dark beer into brisket, which actually turns out pretty well.  It’s all in what flavor you are going for and what you are matching it with.   Thing with smoking is smoke flavors the meat and spices must compliment not compete with the smoke.  But I always have a variety of woods on hand except oak, which a lot of places in Texas like to barbecue with. Oak can overpower the cut.  But I use wood in my smoker as a fuel.  Wet some but not all.  Never use any petroleum products to start my fire.  A chimney and kindling and such to get it started.

Brandon  Graham has gotten 3 contracts because Howie cant draft his replacement.

BG is above average, nothing more nothing less who keeps getting resigned because of guys like Marcus Smith, Barnett, Josh Sweat

So much to unpack in that sentence.

BG is not just above average.  Made to the pro bowl.  There are 64 starting DEs in the league.  He was one of the six chosen.  It is an absolute measure?  No.  But it indicates that he is not merely above average.

Also, how can you put Barnett and Sweat in the same sentence with Smith?  Further, last time I checked you need two DEs on the field.

Haters gonna hate.

If I can’t be squirts for Hurts I’m out

not really, but with how RB’s are utilized now I’d suggest at least .5 ppr. Not a deal breaker for me, just a suggestion.

also I’m assuming the buy in is $10k

Some posters who could be fun to have in the league...

@austinfan

Not sure why I can't tag some people.

With pork, I like chili powder and some brown sugar.    Spritz with apple cider vinegar as it cooks.

Recently I came across a coffee rub... Coffee, clove, cinnamon, as well as the standard salt, pepper, onion, garlic... and a bit of sugar.   Very good for both beef and pork.  Not something I want every time, but still very good.

And then there's the poultry... SPOG... with paprika, mustard and celery seeds.

I used to spray or mop, but I eventually stopped. Too much extra effort for what seemed like a minimal difference. Helps absorb some extra smoke but adds a couple hours to the cook time because of evaporative cooling and became too much babysitting overall. I wrap more often than not, even with pork now, so lack of moisture isn't really an issue.

😂

I'll probably adjust it so that it's 1 point per 5 receptions, but if enough people want .5 ppr I'm fine with that too.

Again, if you think a team will be treated the same if an outbreak comes from a vaxxed or unvaxxed player you're dead wrong.

I never said that, Jesus Christ. I clearly said games will be postponed and rescheduled if their is an outbreak in unvaccinated. You said I’m wrong. I gave a source that said I was right. That’s it.
