Need to watch the All22 but the Eagles looked like they were tighter when in Cover 2.  May have played some Cover 3 but I am pretty damn sure they played a fair amount of Cover 1. Nice mixing by Gannon.  DL took advantage of a banged up Panter OL.

Panthers actually have a pretty good D.  They were well prepared for the Eagles early on.  But Nick made some adjustments.  Really liked the Sanders run to the right and Hurts designed run to the left.  Against their tendencies. Too many drops (Panthers fans are saying the same), but some well designed plays. Hurts used the scramble well but needs to tighten his mechanics on the run.  Smart throwaways for the most part.  He looked like he was really working on his reads although you could see his reaction for missing Watkins getting loose.  So Sirianni came back with a similar route for Watkins and Hurts hit him.  Also on that overthrow off the scramble on the free play, the DB tried to force Reagor out of bounds and he went under. The DB but stayed on his feet and got to the end zone. Thought the pick call on Ward was a bit tickytacky as the DB pushed on Ward more than Ward made contact with the DB.  Those picks will come.  Team is still working on it.  The block by Dillard on that sealing run by Gainwell was excellent.  Herbig in for Dickerson on stacked line at the end, I think. Need to see the All 22.  The couple of sacks that Mailata gave up were probably more caused by the brace than anything he did wrong.

Would love for @justrelax to comment on it but it sure looked like Driscoll was giving some sort of hand signal on the snaps. May have help with the line penalties this week.  Young team working out the kinks.

Yup the first one he skied for and the second he basically ran the WRs route for him and jumped it.

Need to see more of that from him, however Gannon was playing him today he needs to keep doing that. Both ints looked like he was in cover two?

Cox also finally got a sack on a single block, against the chiefs he had a total of 29 single blocks I think 12 against passes 17 against the run and got blanked in the stat sheet.

When Cox gets single blocked he needs to make an impact.

I honestly think Gannon needs to stop overthinking the defense and let Slay and Nelson just go out and cover.  Maddox seems to be finding his old self back in the slot although I thought his play on the deep ball today showcased how well his skillset fits free safety.

Milton Williams seemed to be a bit more disruptive today as well.  I think, but I could be wrong, the plays he made came from playing inside for the most part.  I really think Williams and Hargrave could do serious damage together.

Unreal

Trevon Diggs with 6 interceptions. I take it back. That’s my favorite for DOPTY

Funny how when the Cowboys picked him a lot of fans couldn't step away from their Cowboys hate to realize what a steal they got with him.  He's going to be a top 5 CB for a long time in the league. Sucks so bad.  Dallas has legit young pieces on defense.

That 2020 draft for us was so rough not just because of Jefferson whiff, but also because Cowboys took Lamb right before us & Diggs right before us.

Chargers just going for it on 4th down constantly

Nothing tops us taking Goedert in front of them while celebrating a super bowl.

@greend  Try this for a somewhat less negative slant...  not sure what happened to @Iggles_Phan, he used to be a fairly level-headed fan back in the day...

That game wasn't an enjoyable one to watch.

Fields with a couple really nice throws in the middle of the field.

And getting it.

How was that not DPI on Dallas?

Yup.  Speaking of 2nd round picks.  I think we really need to see more from Landon Dickerson.

He's starting at LG now.   What do you want to see?

AFC is going to be fun to watch for years with all these young QB having success

Bears up 8 at the 2 minute warning.  Raiders' ball at their own 27.  4th down.

Better play.  He gets abused on pass protection.

This Browns/Chargers game has been awesome.

QB comes in to the huddle to call the play.   Players on offense distracted by his painted nails.

Chargers kicker has already missed 4 PAT this season …. and game over because of it likely

I enjoyed the 2nd half...  they hung tough, they battled, Hurts has shown me he has zero quit in him (I'll take that for now)...

Again... this is not, and never was, a contender, even in a relatively weak division (unfortunately, the Cowboys should cruise to the division title)...

There's no point in constantly pointing out "oh, we're beating weak teams" or "oh, their QB sucks", etc, etc.... well, YEAH, who did people think we were going to beat to get 6 or maybe 7 wins...  they might even beat a team or two they're not supposed to, but they might also lose to a team we think they should beat...

I just don't understand what some peoples expectations were...  @Connecticut Eagle said it earlier...  this is a team in transition... and I would add with an inexperienced coach, and an unproven and inexperienced QB, with lousy LBs, and minimal depth at some other positions...  what the hell are people looking for?

Worst of all, the GM in charge offers little confidence that he can fix things...

He's a rookie, who wasn't called on to pass block a ton in college.   It's a process.  I don't know where the idea that he could come in and just be dominant came from, but it was never going to happen.
