Couldn’t stand how he was talking in the presser. I give him credit for standing up there, but him acting like it wasn’t a big deal just irked.

No passion whatsoever and right after the game...and a game that probably knocked them out of the race.  Scott gets it. Reagor is clueless.

  • This season has been funny reading the hot takes.  They beat Atlanta: they're legit! Lose a few, play bad: season's over, they stink. Cut/fire everyone!  Win a few, play better: playoff

  • The Eagles are clearly in cahoots with the alcohol industry.

I go back and forth but ultimately I don't think we have seen the improvements in the key areas of a QBs game. He's not any better with his reads, he's not standing in the pocket and delivering very often and he's not got the accuracy.

you might be right but I don't really care.  If you don't have a backup big back to just pound the rock,  you might be unable to do the thing you're good at if your only big back gets hurt.    Before the game,  Jalen Hurts was #2 behind Josh Allen in fantasy points.  He brings enough to the table.

Why pass if the WRs aren't going to catch the ball?   Throw high,  have Reagor jump and catch the ball.  But Reagor doesn't catch the ball.  That isn't Hurts fault.  Herbig holds,  negating a TD.   That's not Hurts either.  Hurts was running the ball very effectively,  moving the chains,  multiple 10+ runs.  That other QBs just can't do.    Sure, this was a bad game by Hurts,  but I'll blame Reagor and Herbig.

You don’t understand what you just watched.

Strange comments after that game. Is there something the Eagles have that the Giants should be envious of? There is no talent on this Eagles team aside from a few good run blocking OL and some scrappy D players. You just scored 7 points against a Giants defense missing 3/4 of its secondary and best LBer. You guys are as screwed as we are.

The one play he flat out stared down Reagor so the defender moved to him, but the most inexcusable throw to me was the red zone turnover. Completely unacceptable by Hurts. You have to throw that ball away.

Receiver fell but I agree you take the three attempt there.

Happiest Eagle right now

Just brutal...

I hope he burned all of his social accounts post-game

Seth Joyner said Reagor closed his eyes trying to make that over the shoulder catch. My goodness that dude is bad.

Well, he sucks with his eyes open, so why not try it??

Compare Reagor's conference to Scott's conference. Scott showed emotion and took responsibility. Reagor showed no responsibility and just attributed it to drops.  Acted like it was no big deal.  He has to go. He shows no passion in the game and after a game like that.

Reagor was going through the motions. He felt he needed to take ownership, but it was simply him brushing it off as routine drops or something. That’s not taking ownership in the classical sense, its taking ownership just to say you did and move on.
He’s stealing money and he’s not ashamed of it. That’s all I got from his presser.

I don’t really care. I’ve seen the Wentzcuses for far too many years now. That’s the Colts problem an no longer my concern. All I care about is one more game from that dude. Take your Wentzcuses to someone who cares.

Neither do I man - just calling it like it is. I don't know how its a 'Wentzcuse' or whatever you want call it when I'm saying his two earlier turnovers are why they lost, not the Hail Mary INT.

Reagor....

He sucks so hard he should go into "the biz"

Frankly bud other than Smith I don’t think any of these receivers help him either.

I want to see Tyree Jackson.  Smith is good, but the others aren't great,  and they aren't tall either.  Reagor isn't tall, but he can jump,  but he can't catch.

Coach said the gameplan was for Reagor to get more targets. They actually planned to get him the ball this week. Burn that gameplan.

Hail Mary into double coverage. Either way I don’t care. He’s not our problem anymore and no I don’t want him back.

At least that we agree on!

And? They played terrible, should fans be happy?

No, but at times, it wouldn't hurt for fans to be supportive. I'm sure tearing down each player that made mistakes today will bring better results ...

This team's overall talent is marginal.  So many holes on the team if you compare the roster to other rosters.  Their margin for error is small.  But they play as a team and for the most part work hard and put in the effort which is the only reason they are even competitive.  I am hoping to see continuing growth this season and hope they focus draft and FA on replenishing talent with players that:

  1. Have talent.  And proven college production.
  2. Love football and and have the right mental toughness.

E.g. - no more Reagors please.

I can't believe we drafted Reagor over Jefferson.

And Jordan Matthews over Davante Adams. And JJAW over Metcalf.

And that's why I find it hard to have faith in this organisation right now. They have a lot of holes and a GM who doesn't have a very good track record in the draft. They have a need at QB but they have needs at other positions that have been overlooked for so long.

Hard to believe, but the Reagor draft pick is  looking like a worse miss than the JJAW pick.  Howie managed to outdo himself.

I thought we got rid of Nelson Agholor? 🤮

He gets lotsa yards with his legs though. Isn't that mostly what matters?

I don't disagree with that. I have no idea why Sirianni didn't stick with the tried and tested early on today. But even then Hurts was still bad even when we did establish the run.

I'm just as worried about Siri. Belicheat would have ran it down their throats at every opportunity until it was stopped. Just wish we had a coach that just keeps doing what works instead of getting cute. Gainwell out of the backfield would have been abused by Belicheat as well. Just win the game Siri you don't get bonus points for beauty.

Did the people talking up hurts this week learn their lesson?  I don't think asking for a NFL QB that can actually throw is asking for to much!

Every year somebody falls into the running QB trap. It's amazing how many do it every year. An inaccurate running QB has NEVER won it all and the game of professional football is 100% designed to favor the pocket passer. Accept that and you'll experience less stress when a QB like Hurts doesn't perform well.

I mean look...Yards are yards. But bottom line a QB has to make plays with his arm. Hurts has made some good throws in previous weeks but today he did not. And all of the concerns that people have about him absolutely showed up again today.
