The US presence will absolutely prevent any sort of aggression on Russia's part.

I consider your constant attacks about WV an admission that you have no other argument to make.

You think the evil will stop there?! You’re crazy if you think a couple of US civilians will stop Russian aggression. That’s the arrogance of your MAGA thought process.

I’m not attacking WV, but your rural take on world affairs. Your views are my issue, not your state.

And no, I’m not trying to say anything bad about WV or the people there.

Oh, well I'll do it for you. WV is a shitehole and the people of WV are all toothless morons, who raise other toothless moron in a self-repeating cycle.

Oh right right, because we never had a "US presence" when Russia invaded before.

the State Department estimated more than 20,000 Americans were in Ukraine in the months leading up to the war. Most have left.

In response to the war, Americans flee Russia in droves

Russia's war in Ukraine has prompted an exodus from Russia, including many Americans living there. Some had built a life stretching over decades. Now they don't know if they'll ever go back.

Awesome watch and I hope the US learns from this.

TBH I remain in the camp that drones are a crutch rather than a capability.

Russia and Ukraine lack a decent number of organic precision indirect fires , so they're going to be leaning heavily on drones. For the US, IMO drones have use, but it's limited to an FO assest to call in and adjust fire, or for limited recon. Even for recon, IMO they're kind of over used. IF you need to do a recon, you need to get out there and look with your eyes. You can see, hear, smell, and taste things that the drone can't, but you run the risk of getting your butt blown off, so people think recon drone is good enough, when realistically its only slightly more useful that just doing a map recon.

What they don't talk about much is that only one out of every 4 to 6 drones actually hits their targets. There's so much counter drone stuff going on right now it's nuts. There's enough EW going on at the front that you could microwave a TV dinner by holding it up outside.

And then fiber optic drones came on line, so they're harder to defeat. but even they have a simple solution to defeat them sometimes. Some Ukrainian figured out that if you shine a flashlight through one end of the fiber optic line, it lights up the whole line so you can see where it was coming from and then you can drop ordinance on it.

What the US needs more than building drones is to build counter drone tech. Which we are working on.

I was at SOFIC a couple times and saw some anti Drone stuff that was kind of cool. Don't know how well they worked in practice. That was a few years back.

Think that show may be called SOF nowadays.

This!

I had orders in 98 to a drone squadron out PAX River to be a pilot, but decided to get out instead. It’s amazing how far they have come since then.

Honestly for as cool as that would be I don’t think I’d be able to do that. I mean if you’re forward deployed even doing a POG gig you’re still there for the whole thing and you get to be detached from home, but as a drone pilot you drop a slap chop hellfire on target and then go home to dinner with the wife and kids. I wouldn’t know what to do having to decompress from that after every single working day instead of doing it in one lump sum after your tour.

Why the F would you even need to show religious services in Russia?

Did RKO radio do a live broadcast of Munich Christmas mass in ‘39?

They always get the cool toys first.

I always love the weeks after they do the convention because schizo right wing internet is all "the military is training in civilian areas to practice against us” when realistically it’s just some cool guys fast roping onto some dudes yacht in the channel.

IMO the best parts of any of those shows are watching the 160th work. I don’t know what kind of wizardry they summon to have a UH-60 violate the laws of physics like they do, but it’s something.

to humanize the side that the potus is favoring.

Well, I’m gonna echo something Secretary [Marco Rubio], which is, look, we’ve issued a very explicit proposal to both the Russians and the Ukrainians; and it’s time for them to either say, "Yes,” or for the United States to walk away from this process. We’ve engaged in an extraordinary amount of diplomacy, of on-the-ground work. We’ve really tried to understand things from the perspective of both the Ukrainians and the Russians. What do Ukrainians care the most about? What do the Russians care the most about? And I think that we put together a very fair proposal. We’re gonna see if the Europeans, the Russians and the Ukrainians are ultimately able to get this thing over the finish line.

Again, I feel pretty optimistic about it. I think everybody has been negotiating in good faith; but it’s now time, I think, to take — if not the final step — one of the final steps, which is, at a broad level, the parties saying, "We’re gonna stop the killing; we’re gonna freeze the territorial lines at some level close to where they are today; and we’re gonna actually put in place the kind of long-term diplomatic settlement that hopefully will lead to long-term peace.”

It was pretty clear after the Oval Office meeting with Zelenskyy what the US administration stand is. It’s been obvious ever since and hopefully the Europeans planned accordingly. This US regime is pro Putin and pro Russia, so everyone is just gonna have to accept it. We, or at least part of the country, is drifting toward the "dark side” and the chainsaw is being used on the world order. Never ever would’ve thought that the leader of the FREE world would support evil over good.🤦🏻

Give Putin everything, or we back out.
