My southwest bracket is f'd.  I took S. Dak St to upset Providence and Iowa.  I do have Arizona going to the final 4 so maybe things will improve.

As an arizona alum they are really good. However the committee did them no favors with Tennessee being a 3. They should’ve been a 2. Their resume was much better than Duke. I’d add houston as a 5 based off the metrics is BS and they’d have to face them in Texas as the 1 seed. That said probably the best arizona team since their last final four in 2001.

Geez, I'm not a Baker fan, but a conditional 3rd would be worth it.

Which then means it would be a 2023 pick, I would do that in a second.

A year of Jameis would be fun if we're going nowhere anyway. At least he won't hold the WRs back in their development.

Doubt the Eagles are planning anyone specific with this move, but if they are wonder if it's Za'Darius Smith who suddenly dropped out with the Ravens. Would address pass rush in free agency with another guy and then focus on DT/CB/S/WR in the first round.

Or they plan to jump in on Stephon Gilmore or Mahieu or something.

You want to move from one crappy QB just to get stuck with another? Pass.

Good god man, stop copying off my bracket.

The only thing that will save the day is a Georgia St win over Gonzaga, then I can take out my frustrations about Iowa on the locals.

It's madness! So far I can't really complain about mine

5,000 yard QB's are good for WR development, count me in.

We wouldn't be "stuck", he's on the last year of his contract.

Finally somebody gets it

I have Tennessee as one of my final four

One thing about Fletcher Cox was always interesting to me. Despite being the best player on the team for a long time, it took a while for him to be named captain. He's a great Eagle, easily one of their 2 or 3 best draft picks of the new millennium, but he's not Brandon Graham/Jason Kelce where it feels like some of the heart and soul of the team has gone.

I feel no connection to Cox at all. And I will claim to be the earliest Cox fan on these boards. I also had him as my top target that year when not many others did even if he was on their list.

He just hasnt really done anythng to endear himself to fans imo. He was very good. But he rarely had big sack seasons. Most of the time he was affecting the game by occupying double teams. A lot of that is the fault of various coaching staffs that failed to use him to his potential. And to his credit, he was dominant in anything he was asked to do. But aside from his slightly disappointing stats, he just doesnt put his personality out there much for the fans.

I dont see him making many/any? public appearances. I dont see him doing press conferences or many interviews. I dont recall hearing about any impassioned speeches to the team from a leadership standpoint. Mostly, the only story about Cox is his infidelity.

Ive been glad to have him. But hes diminishing and I feel no affinity towards him. I wont mind whenever he goes. Unlike Dawkins, and soon, Kelce.

Praying Matt Ryan isn’t on his way here. Would make sense why Deshaun is taking forever, the Falcons need to get rid of Matt first to fit Watson.

Why would he be on his way to Texas?

I'd be all for him as a 1 year deal. He'd help Smith develop more than Hurts can

I have relatively no interest in Baker, but I would trade a 2023 3rd for him in a second and then flip Hurts for a pick.

I’m in Philly on business

It’s gonna come down to arizona/Tennessee in that region. I don’t think nova has the size to beat either. Nova beat tenn earlier this in November but Tennessee is a completely different team now. I’d argue arizona and Tennessee playing the best basketball right now.

I agree. If they do end up going up against each other, that's going to be a great game

Baker is a starter in this league.  Hurts is not.  A 2023 3rd pick for him is a no brainer especially since it his last year of his contract.  We could actually be somewhat fun to watch this year.

Again why would we trade assets for a marginally better QB for a one year rental? Just stick with Hurts or even Minshew if that’s the case.

Would be amazing if Georgia state could pull it off. Doubt it as Gonzaga tends to start pulling away due to style of play in second half of games

Hurts and a 3rd for Baker

Played in Tennessee earlier this year. Was a one possession game late. Officials were awful in that game both ways. So hopefully they actually let them play.

Sold!

Y’all have lost your damn minds wanting to trade for Baker
