I don't understand why Malik Willis isn't being linked to the Lions. Seems like an ideal fit. No national pressure, can ride the bench behind Goff for at least a year. They can keep loading up on the OL and get him another WR with all those extra picks.

Hoping a QB they like drops to 15.  They could go Hutchinson at 2 then give us 32 and 34 for 15.

I would do 15 for 32 and 34 in a heartbeat. I truly think the meat of the value of this draft is in R2 and R3. With that trade we could do something like:

16-Devonte Wyatt

19- Andrew Booth

32- Boye Mafe

34- Desmond Ridder

51- Chad Muma

83- WR

That would be a really nice day 1/day 2 of the draft.

Should have held on to more of my old toys!

Titans are over the cap.  Any chance we offer a trade for Kevin Byard and bring the All-Pro Philly kid home?

They aren't over the cap, the NFL doesn't allow teams to go over.

Problem there is there's no chance Walker is available at 15 or Wyatt at 32. Did a lot of wheeling and dealing here, but may be one of my faves:

Good mix of O and D, and completely revamps our Dline and has our Oline completely set for the loss of Kelce and Lane over the next few years.

Correct.  It takes sites like OTC and spotrac a while to catch up with free agency.  But now that the new league year has started, you have to always be top 51 cap compliant.

Reub posted his 10 Observations and # 1 was about Hurts Haters and how they make no sense.  Look at the line he wrote below.  That alone should tell you he's not the answer at quarterback.  Is that how you describe a franchise QB?

Jalen Hurts will be in the NFL a long time in some role.

But he got us to the playoffs!!!!!!!

Roob has been the #1 Hurts fan boy for 2 years now. I like a lot of his stuff, but his fawning over Hurts is insufferable.

Can't say it enough -- Hurts was drafted to be a potential Folesian savior of a deep playoff run. He was not drafted to be a franchise QB (and yes a 2nd was too rich).

Then they don't have something right. The NFL does not allow teams to go over the cap, ever. Any move that would put them over the cap would get denied. In this case both have Robert Woods on the team, however he's not on the actual Titans roster because transactions go through at 4pm. So they are going to free up money somehow to stay under the cap.

on Sportrac it says top 51 right next to it

So another move for them must be coming.  Watch Bryard will restructure.

@Outlaw @Ray75, nailed it

Stop pushing this false narrative. There are more than enough legitimate things to complain about!

Lol.  In a tactical sense for the 2022 season, you are correct.   Bigger picture and for the long term, this much larger issue will continue to loom.

The acquisition of a QB that is viewed as a viable and competitive starting option would change the dynamics of the FA interactions... even in spite of the growing perception of the organizational leadership and cultural issues.
