Sure, but NFL teams have access to stuff we don't so therefore they might already know (mostly) whether he's guilty or not so if he's good we can root for him to come here hoping that Howie already knows the.....................................

NFL teams do have access to stuff we don't.  I'll stick with the UDFA option as the number one choice for him though.   Too much risk, because it comes down to the jury, not necessarily the evidence.

WRs pushed up with S eign pushed down makes sense.

Hamilton to us just makes soooo much sense.

Was thinking about how bad could the Eagles (Howie!) screw up the 3 picks in the first rd, and...

Which was the worse 1st rd pick in past 30+ years?

I believe these are the top two (Below) and are neck and neck. But there are other close honorable mentions: (Bernard Williams, Freddie Mitchell, Lester Homes, Loenard Renfro, Mike Mamula, J McDougal, Marcus Smith, Jalen Reagor)

Jon Harris DE 1997 Pick #25   6'7"  Pass rushing end
2 year career
24 games played, 8 games started - 2 sacks- 37 tackles

or

Danny Watkins OG 2011 Pick #23  26 Year old Fireman
2 year career
24 games 6 games starting

Kevin Allen and Bernard Williams should get a shout-out for this.

I would have to believe there would be zero chance that we wouldn't take him at 15 if he dropped. I would be dumbfounded otherwise.

You are talking about a team that hasn't taken a first round S since the year after Jerry Robinson

I can just picture Howie passing on him not once, not twice, but three times.

In the playoffs, top QBs are often shut down, see Mahomes in the SB and the playoffs last year.

You do remember the Chiefs-Bills matchup in the playoffs last year, right?   Chiefs got the ball back with 14 or 15 seconds and went down the field for a game-tying FG to force OT... then went back down the field again to win the game on the opening possession.

The Super Bowl, he had no OL in front of him.  So, yes, any QB with absolutely no OL can be shut down by a top notch pass rush.  Not exactly an iron-clad argument, yet, here you are again trying to generalize based on very unique anecdotal evidence.  Extremely lazy.  Tell me, how frequently does a run-first type QB win in the playoffs?  Jackson has 1 win in 3 tries.  Hurts is 0 for 1.  QBs win from the pocket in the playoffs, not from running as a part of the offensive philosophy.  The evidence is overwhelming, and not just a single anecdotal example.

World Cup draw on right now. USA in group B with England and Iran so far.

I'd rather watch a domino rally than a soccer game.  The dominos are tougher.

If I had to bet I'd guess Burks is the most likely pick at #16 and Ojabo at #19.  #15 figures to be Davis or CB.

I sense a pattern of historical adversaries.

What's the point of just 6 games?  Does the season end after 6 games?

No, but you are expecting big improvement from him this year, right?  When do you expect to see evidence by?

Lol, last spot is either Ukraine or Scotland/Wales....

Canada draws Belgium, Morocco and Croatia.

I love the World Cup, it's about the only time I'll watch soccer. Even more awesome that we finally made it (though we aren't going anywhere).

2nd best possible group (Group A was best)

I think like any season for any player you're going to have an ebb and flow.  Your going to have highs and you're going to have lows throughout the year and it's not going to be until the end of the season when the body of work is complete until it can really be evaluated unless he comes out the gate playing really bad for a month or two or on the flip side of that comes out the gate playing like a potential MVP for a month or two.

The more likely scenario is that there will be ups and downs but overall I anticipate we will see a fairly significant leap for him in year 3.

What is this year's "Group of Death"?

It is a bit of hyperbole that always gives me a chuckle.

Expect to be dumbfounded. Howie goes by his analytics system.  He doesn’t value all positions the same.

I can see Julian and his bff Alec having more and more influence on the draft...
