Mcnabb didnt learn to put arc on a deep ball until TO got here

Probably had more to do with TO than McNabb I mean it's not like in one off-season he all the sudden figured out how to throw a deep ball, he had plenty of deep shots to pinkston in 2002.

Yeah but he's basically a rookie so the fact that he's been slowly regressing as a passer is irrelevant.

True maybe in his 6th rookie season he'll figure out how to pass to the left🤔

I'm not a huge fan of Hutchinson, I think he's a good player he has a high motor and is good at the point but he's not super twitchy or explosive, he reminds me alot of Chris Long, good but not worth a top 5 pick.

I agree , I think the kid from PSU ends up better than Hutch and Johnson .

How would an AFC GM know about other team’s draft boards?

Just the front office.  Arrogant and content.

Best way to get the passing offense to click is to NOT have them all together.

Misquoted.  He actually spoke to Brandon Brown, who said Howie has Hutchinson in the 30s on his board.

I love the World Cup, it's about the only time I'll watch soccer. Even more awesome that we finally made it (though we aren't going anywhere).

My daughter went to a half dozen USMST qualifiers.  She loves all the parts of being a soccer fan, from the chants and songs to all aspects of the game. (She’s a vegetarian too, so there are a few things where she marches to her own drummer.)

More workout "swag" from Hurts today

I'm not sure if Hurts being a problem is good or not....

Level 99 irony there…

Was interested but if this staff didn't want anything to do with him, probably a reason for it.

Boston Scott

I liked him coming out of the draft quite a bit, but that torn achilles isn't a good thing. Would be too redundant here anyway with our current RB room.

Followup to the points given since 2000, this is the point differential since 2000:

  • New England Patriots: +2873

  • Green Bay Packers: +1341

  • Pittsburgh Steelers: +1317

  • Baltimore Ravens: +1281

  • New Orleans Saints: +1049

  • Indianapolis Colts: +982

  • Seattle Seahawks: +979

  • Philadelphia Eagles: +904

  • SD/LA Chargers: +872

  • Kansas City Chiefs: +657

That NE dynasty was something else.

I think Long's career was worthy of the #2 pick he was taken with.  Personally I think Hutch is a Jared Allen clone.

Booth had some kind of "core surgery", not feeling great about that.

Sports Hernia, which happened to seemingly everyone 4-5 years ago, no biggie.

The economics of the NFL cannot be ignored in choosing who to draft. An All-Pro CB just got 15m AAV, while WRs are now getting close to 30m.

I get the shame of drafting a WR 3 years in a row, but it is absolutely the smart move.

Feel like this guy is signing a new huge contract with the Dolphins ever year.

Is it?  So you're talking about 3 players who if they don't bust and they actually turn out to be great you will have to watch walk away because they are signing deals for close to $30M.  That means WRs will become like RBs, although for different reasons, that you're only really getting them for their rookie deals.  Meanwhile you can draft an All-Pro CB, have him for his rookie deal and then re-sign him for an affordable $15M and now you have a player for a long duration of their career.  I think that is getting a lot more value for your 1st than players who you will likely have to let walk due to the near QB money they are starting to make.
