That was my first thought. Wear nitrile gloves so as to not leave any prints and leave somebody else's ID at the scene.

Leaving the ID is a dumb move. Only adds more ways to get caught. Either theres finger prints on there, or if he wasnt on any ring doorbell camaras in the PS5 heist, hes increasing the odds he was caught on cameras by adding another theft to the equation when they look back to when the previous guy was robbed.

I have had 2 that I know of. And both required surgery.

First one, I had a bout of pain and went to the ED.  They told me what it was. Few days later met with a surgeon, and I was like hell no. Dont want a stent. I let it go for about a year. I could go weeks with no pain, and would have a minor bout here and there. Finally I got another really severe one. I showed up to work and they said I looked bad, had no color. I went right back home. Thought about pulling in to every gas station along the way because I thought I was going to throw up. Finally, had a cruise coming up so I finally wanted to take care of it so I wouldnt have to deal with that on vacation. Had laser lithotripsy, and had a stent put in. Had to go back to the office a week later for a stent removal procedure which literally caused me to have nightmares afterwards. Worst part of that whole experience.

About 5 years later had my next one. Felt minor pain when I woke up to shower before work. Continued getting ready. Got dressed. Felt it worsening. Woke up my wife and said I might be calling off. Then I thought I was going to go to work. Then it got worse again and I said I was going to drive myself to the ED. Then the nausea  kicked in and I said, actually I need you to drive me there. Never thought Id go to the ED for one again because I knew what it was. But this one was so bad I still went anyway. Was terrified of surgery again because I didnt want a stent. Got the surgery. Different surgeon this time. This time it wasnt an office procedure to remove the stent. I had to friggin remove it myself. First of all the string was like a hard wire hanging out of my D for a week. I couldnt even move. I had to hold my pants away from me every time I wanted to move anywhere in the house. Had to take the entire week off of work. Then, came the day for removal and I felt like I was in a SAW movie for the grotesque thing I was about to do to myself.

Fing A cant stand those things. And the stent is the worst part. If it was just bad pain for a day, then get the easy surgery and youre done, that would be great. Stents F everything up.

Ah yes, the joy of stents!

That's why I said I'd spare you all the gory details of my second procedure.......suffice to say, a stent was involved.

Supposedly with the extracorporeal shockwave therapy there is a chance you dont need a stent. I requested that both times. And both times they decided to do the laser instead. Fers.

Guys, you have my sincere sympathy!

I have been there and got the T-shirt on kidney stones. And the problem is, once you've had them, you are increasingly susceptible to more.

I live in the UK, and my first stone was treated via lithotripsy, which is non-invasive, as they zap the stone into smithereens with a laser. That's the easy bit, because then you still have to 'pass' the fragments, which is basically peeing out red hot shards of rubble. Not nice at all, but thankfully eventually the damn thing is out and the pain is gone. I actually had to have two bouts of lithotripsy to get it all out, the first left me very nauseous the following day, but the second was uneventful and ultimately the procedure was successful.

I was told by the consultant to drink plenty of water infused with lemon juice, and to keep well hydrated at all times. Despite adhering to this as best I could, sure enough I got another stone last year.

This one was not so simple! Apparently it lodged in a place where they couldn't access it via lithotripsy and I had to have an operation to remove it instead. I'll spare you the gory details, but let's just say give me the damn lithotripsy any day!

Been OK up until last Tuesday, when I woke up with the familiar relentless pain of another bloody stone! Managed it with pain relief for a few days, but felt terrible - couldn't sleep properly and had no appetite whatsoever. Spent most of Saturday in bed trying to get at least some sleep, then surprisingly I woke up this morning completely pain-free, so I've either passed it (unlikely as I don't recall doing so, and believe me, you know when you pass a stone!) or more likely it's just moved to a place where it's not causing pain. Yet!

Once you have this type of thing, it doesn't half make you appreciate the simple things in life. Just waking up without being in pain is a thing we all take for granted, but it really is priceless.

And I do fully appreciate that my mere kidney stones pale into insignificance when compared to far more serious conditions endured by others who have to cope with chronic pain on a daily basis.

Do you have a sodium rich diet or eat a lot of nuts? Those are factors in stone formation. Some. Stones can be caused by a lot of things.

Just put some money down on Jalen Hurts MVP at +5000.  Really good odds to toss some money on.  Is it likely?  Of course not, but it's well within the realm of being possible.  Eagles have an other really easy schedule and I think they win the division so he will have that going for him.

Why I keep cautioning against "Wait till next years QB class. Its supposed to be amazing!"

Everyone forgot how hyped this one was....

Slovis, Howell, Rattler, Ridder, Willis all in this round.  Dont forget Corrall who isnt included there. There was also talk early in the year about Shough. And there may even be one or two more Im forgetting. It was a huge class full of names that could be going in round 1. Next thing you know, none are worthy of a 1st round pick.

Also, not QB related Ive been wondering and forgetting to ask- What ever happened to Sevyn Banks?

Not particularly, just seems to be a thing I'm susceptible to as I get older.

Being properly hydrated at all times is a big deal, IMO

What do you think Titans asking price for AJ Brown would be should they make him available?

This is precisely why abroaders like me who like to go to Eagles games (etc) are thinking, nah bro, why visit somewhere that crime can be treated as an inconvenience (over and above COVID rules) and where the serious crime risk is increasing yoy? I'm no prude but I can spend my tourist $ elsewhere, like sitting on a beac, somewhere hot for a week or a nice cottage in middle of nowhere instead. I don't need to go to Eagles games, as much as I enjoy it.

Cities like Philly and NYC need to appreciate that any idiot in the world can look at their serious crime stats and make their own minds up about what is going on there, if you happen to go to the wrong place. If you can't keep locals safe, how can you keep out of towners safe?

Perception is reality.

I don't blame you. I live an hour from the stadium and even I don't want to go.

I just got off the phone with the officer who took my report this morning. It turns out the ID was stolen, but they do have a couple of suspects.

Apparently, there’s been a few of these robberies.

As far as security goes, I’m picking up some new locks tonight, and will probably look into cameras.

I also thought about buying a gun (former owner). I owned a Sig about ten years ago but got rid of it—I wish I had kept it now.

This experience is also reminding me of my dog, which I lost about six months ago. She was very intimidating but gentle. I have no doubts she would have protected me, though.

Thank you again for all of your replies. I appreciate them more than you know.

Did you tell anyone who's not a close friend, like a neighbor or co-worker, that you had a PS5?  Could be someone you know that broke in.

Its an embarrassing procedure. Laying there on the table completely awake with everything hanging out. There is maximum shrinkage. That guy is completely turtled up trying to hide from whats about to happen. I have this old lady that has seen 999k deeks and it feels like shes picking mine up so daintily like its the smallest one shes ever touched. Frigging sticks this object in to inject numbing jelly. Well, that didnt feel good. Hows the whole frigging scope gonna feel? Needless to say numbing jelly doesnt do a damn thing. Doctor comes in and here comes the gigantic instrument. Looks like youre on a UFO about to be probed by some torture thing by aliens. They go in and theyre telling you to relax. You can feel that damn thing sliding all the way through its path inside of you. Trying not to tense up as they keep telling you, this will hurt less if you can stay relaxed and dont squeeze those muscles. Next thing you know, PLINK, ladys thumb slips off the button and the claw thing slams open inside of me. She says, you tensed up and it slipped. Now we have to go again. Stay relaxed so we can get it out. F you lady.

Finally finish. And I have this insane urge to pee. Go in to their bathroom, I start to pee and nothing is coming out but I can feel this bubbling sensation at the tip. Like what the hell is that? Urge not relieved at all. Feels like I just cut it off mid-stream and need to finish. I give up cause I cant stand that bubbling feeling every time I try. So I zip up and go to check out. Urge really intense and I feel like its just going to come leaking out as I stand there in line, and Im going to wet my pants in front of everyone. Make it out of there, and all the way home with the intense urge. Finally I can go again in my own bathroom.

But goddamn, that scope going up there most uncomfortable thing ever. Thats the part I dreamed of. Nightmares.

Little did I know, years later how I wished I would be getting that removal procedure again because I didnt want to pull my own. I think going through that probably made me more scared to do my own. When I finally worked up the nerve, it wasnt bad at all to pull it out.

Off-topic: Someone broke into my apartment last night and stole my PS5 while I was home (I was in my room at the time). After filing a report, I found out the same person also broke into another apartment in my complex.

Has this unfortunate incident happened to anyone else? I’m a bit shaken up and am having trouble processing it. It’s pretty scary to think that someone easily broke into my apartment without me knowing. I am grateful that they only stole my PS5, though, because I know it could’ve gone a lot worse.

Also, no prints were found, as it seems he wiped everything down—BUT, this dumb SOB dropped his ID on my kitchen floor. I’m hopeful it’s as simple as finding the guy on the ID, but I’m not holding my breath.

Anyway, that was my Sunday morning. I hope you guys had a better one.

Sorry to hear, but glad that you're all right.

We may all have different opinions, but I would hate to hear this happen to anyone.

Did anyone post the Lane Johnson with Stone Cold pic yet?
epic!

I get why Eagles fans want DK, but the WR to trade 1st rounder and extend is AJ Brown.

Brown will turn 25 this year and fits what we do (YAC based offense). He's a very different WR than Smith and Quez rounds out a good trio. Brown's only history concerns are hamstring-related, which are frustrating and likely means he'll play 12 games instead of 16-17 (see Julio Jones in his prime).

I'd rather trade a 1st for Brown than spend a 1st on a WR.

Also, Brown helps with QB recruiting next year.

I think he wants to be an Eagle. Him and swag together. 🤦🏾

46 minutes ago, HazletonEagle said:

Correct.

And apparently theres a great relationship between him and Hurts.

Yeah I think they are really good friends so he's a WR that would want to come here. I don't hold out much hope for Hurts Brown & Smith would certainly stack the deck in his favor

Not sure how plugged in draft diamonds is. They are one of the twitter pages who scoops the daft picks. So they seem to have some kind of in. But not sure how much they know...

Anyway here is their mock for us

1. Jermaine Johnson, Devin Lloyd, Trend McDuffie

2. Trey McBride

3. Carson Strong

I think Honest NFL said we like McBride, and Kolar. Could they have the same source? Or is it just a random mock selection. Not sure.

I hope they really know stuff and Jermaine Johnson falls to us. But really not thrilled with it overall.

No. I’m a pretty private person, especially with my money. Also, I keep my inner circle very small—I’d say 90% are people I grew up with. I guess anything is possible, but I don’t think it’s someone I know.

Now, could it be someone in my complex who has seen me playing during the day? That’s possible. It would explain how they knew which apartments to hit. I guess I’ll have to wait and see if anyone is arrested.

All I want at 15 is the best d end

Problem is if the Eagles trade a 1 for a WR then it hurts their chances at getting a QB next season (pun intended)

Kyler Gordon seems to be a sneaky pick for us. I've seen him mocked to us a few times.
