Kyler Gordon seems to be a sneaky pick for us. I've seen him mocked to us a few times.

Not sure if theres anything to that, or just that for most people hes the next best CB available when Gardner, Stingley, and Booth are all gone. Supposedly the eagles like the length of Elam (or Booth).

Name one player (no matter the round and if you like it or not) you think is destined to be an Eagle?  I’ll say Travis Jones with Pitre right behind him

Problem is if the Eagles trade a 1 for a WR then it hurts their chances at getting a WR next season (pun intended)

I don’t think we should be in the market of trading big value for a vet WR.  Smith is already reliable, high on polish, with (everyone will flip out at this) questionable dominant #1 upside.

Watkins gives you the deep threat and some upside for improvement.

Pascal is the physical, reliable, vet.

Id rather go over the top by drafting a round 1 WR in a year or 2 once we have a qb that will get them the ball.

No round 1 wr now and no trade now.

Violent crime and homicides have gone up and it has nothing to do with the pandemic. The US is like the only country crime went up during the pandemic, in other countries it went down. And in the US the data shows it happened to skyrocket the same week of the George Floyd riots and has been climbing ever since. Particularly homicides. 9 cities last year hit their all-time record in homicides in the US. And crime was trending downward in the US before 2020. The 2010 decade in fact was the best ever decade for homicides per capita since crime data first started being thoroughly recorded, which was 1960 or so.

That is what happens when progressive policies keep violent people out of prison in the name of "equity" you defund police, demoralize them by not backing them publicly, force many officers to retire, and embolden criminals by  backing down.

Police are reactionary they don't prevent crime they show up afte crime has been committed, prisons and jail also don't deter crime they just house criminals but do nothing to actually prevent crime.

Want to decrease crime? Make policy that ensures people are housed and fed, that they have resources to live, that they have education and jobs and healthcare.

When people's basic needs are met they are less prone to commit crimes.

Agreed and I meant QB next year. But part of me always wants them to do something interesting even if my head recognizes it might not be the best long term move

Travis Jones might as well have the Eagles logo stamped on his forehead. I agree. I'd put Alec Pierce in this group too.

So moronic

we just had a south american crime group breaking into houses in wealthy suburbs out here.

you commitment to being completely wrong is unusual…

I think AFan is officially a troll.  Some of these takes are absolutely moronic and I think posted just to get sane posters riled up.

Crime isn't up it's just a result of the pandemic?  Crime is up all over the place and it isn't pandemic related.

Just put some money down on Jalen Hurts MVP at +5000.  Really good odds to toss some money on.  Is it likely?  Of course not, but it's well within the realm of being possible.  Eagles have an other really easy schedule and I think they win the division so he will have that going for him.

I actually agree. It’s highly unlikely but it’s not totally impossible. I think he’d need to rush for 1,000 yards for it to be possible.

Ive had a strong feeling for a while that Burks is going to be an Eagle.

Not sure how plugged in draft diamonds is. They are one of the twitter pages who scoops the daft picks. So they seem to have some kind of in. But not sure how much they know...

Anyway here is their mock for us

1. Jermaine Johnson, Devin Lloyd, Trend McDuffie

2. Trey McBride

3. Carson Strong

I think Honest NFL said we like McBride, and Kolar. Could they have the same source? Or is it just a random mock selection. Not sure.

I hope they really know stuff and Jermaine Johnson falls to us. But really not thrilled with it overall.

I’ve followed them for years, on draft night they’re 100% right with every pick. They started off as a resource to find small school players. But I think they’re plugged in from what I’ve followed over the years

Does Mickey Moniak have a roll for the Phils this year?  He's hitting great this Spring.

yeah same. I used to like to go find the true sleepers. Like, someone in the blog thought he was breaking news when he gave us Christian Watson as a sleeper and we all knew about him already.

Draft Diamonds will put a guy on your radar like Junior Faulk, CB, from Delta State.

I cant remember what specifically, but I feel like theyve broken trade news before. And of course somehow get all the draft picks early.

Been saying Jones will be an Eagle. I’m betting 19th pick

Guys, you have my sincere sympathy!

I have been there and got the T-shirt on kidney stones. And the problem is, once you've had them, you are increasingly susceptible to more.

I live in the UK, and my first stone was treated via lithotripsy, which is non-invasive, as they zap the stone into smithereens with a laser. That's the easy bit, because then you still have to 'pass' the fragments, which is basically peeing out red hot shards of rubble. Not nice at all, but thankfully eventually the damn thing is out and the pain is gone. I actually had to have two bouts of lithotripsy to get it all out, the first left me very nauseous the following day, but the second was uneventful and ultimately the procedure was successful.

I was told by the consultant to drink plenty of water infused with lemon juice, and to keep well hydrated at all times. Despite adhering to this as best I could, sure enough I got another stone last year.

This one was not so simple! Apparently it lodged in a place where they couldn't access it via lithotripsy and I had to have an operation to remove it instead. I'll spare you the gory details, but let's just say give me the damn lithotripsy any day!

Been OK up until last Tuesday, when I woke up with the familiar relentless pain of another bloody stone! Managed it with pain relief for a few days, but felt terrible - couldn't sleep properly and had no appetite whatsoever. Spent most of Saturday in bed trying to get at least some sleep, then surprisingly I woke up this morning completely pain-free, so I've either passed it (unlikely as I don't recall doing so, and believe me, you know when you pass a stone!) or more likely it's just moved to a place where it's not causing pain. Yet!

Once you have this type of thing, it doesn't half make you appreciate the simple things in life. Just waking up without being in pain is a thing we all take for granted, but it really is priceless.

And I do fully appreciate that my mere kidney stones pale into insignificance when compared to far more serious conditions endured by others who have to cope with chronic pain on a daily basis.

I have a previously scheduled appointment with my doctor coming up on Tuesday; I intend to ask him about the lithotripsy.  The ER doctor told me the CT scan showed the stone is 7mm, but it’s now close to the bladder so it should pass on its own naturally.  I’ll get a second opinion on that because 7mm is considered pretty large from what I’m reading.

Spring don’t matter for ish.  He’ll platoon in CF with Vierling.  For now.

I know, but it's at least encouraging to see his bat coming to life.  I have no expectations for him so anything he contributes is a plus.  No where year 1st round pick production but rather something that nothing.

Thats on the borderline of passable while taking flomax. Mine were 7mm and never came out.

Do yourself a favor and ask for whatever is your best chance at avoiding a stent. Ive read shockwave treatment can bust it up so fine you dont often need a stent. But I havent been lucky enough to have that done. They say if the stone is still relatively small, it may just get bounced around by the shockwave, instead of busting so its not always effective for certain size stones.

I'd settle for him allowing them to move on from Herrera.

Nope.  Mine recognizes that the police does a lot of good out there.   And yes, they do stop some crimes from happening.  You just won't hear about it, because it's not news worthy.    They aren't perfect, some of them are dirty, but plenty of them do things everyday that make the world we all live in a safer place.

Well said and the big issue is when one of the bad apples does make a mistake (Floyd) the media runs with it and makes the country think that's the sort of treatment that all police give to suspected criminals, especially of color.  Simply not true.

What we're seeing now is a direct result of police forces being undermanned now due to funding or some that hung it up because of what was happening and more lenient enforcement.  Just look at places like California where shoplifting is now a sport for some because the penalties are far less than they should be.
