I tried watching The Batman online, but it was a cam version.  Sometimes the cam versions are really good, but this was not a good one.  The picture was dark and the audio wasn't clear so I missed out on a lot of things as it was hard to follow along.  I could tell it wasn't the usual Batman type of movie, though.

There is a discussion on it in the DC thread in For Your Entertainment in What's Up forum.  Others who watched a cleaner version described it as more of an old school detective noir type of film with a dark feel.  The other difference is this is Batman when he's starting out so he doesn't have all the high tech 'toys' we're used to seeing from other films and he's making all of them himself instead of having a cache of gear/weapons waiting for him at Wayne Enterprises.  It's a bit more raw that way.

Yea this is a terrible movie to try to watch a bootleg version of

I'm guessing even in a clean version that the visuals are supposed to be dark along with the story to help the overall vibe/feel so a bad cam version will make for a really dark picture.  I saw it available and gave it a try, but I'll watch it again when I can view a good version and see what I missed out on.  Most of the bootlegs are actually pretty good.

The rumors are completely nonsensical with no legitimate basis.  No one is reporting this or even hinting at it that is actually a journalist.  It's all just a bunch of random twitter users speculating off of a still image from security camera footage shown in a local news story.  Have some integrity.

Why do you care so much about someone you don’t know ??

Yep. Even in theaters some parts were very dark

It's a very dark movie but I really enjoyed it.  Saw it in IMAX.  I loved the fight scenes, probably the best actual fight scenes in a Batman movie.  I really enjoyed the world building of the movie.  Running into not even main characters but very side characters multiple times throughout the movie, visiting certain places again multiple times throughout the movie besides the typical Wayne Manor/batcave, police station and top of roof with bat signal.  Instead of Batman just busting in and jumping through windows he's knocking on doors.  I thought Pattinson was also really good as Batman and people don't like his Wayne for how  moody and depressive he was but all of it came together to work for what I felt the movie was going for.  This young Batman who doesn't yet have all this advanced technology, is figuring stuff out as detective and is letting his life be completely consumed by this alter ego of Batman which has consumed him to the point of becoming his main self while he grapples with all of the anger he has that he's grown up with.

It's an entirely different Batman movie than what we've got and it's hard to properly compare it to the others but that's what makes the franchise so great is the vastly different stylistic approaches throughout the series.  I look forward to it coming out on 4K to watch it again but on one watch a month or so ago when it came out I'd probably rank as:

1. The Dark Knight

2. The Batman

3. Batman Begins

4. The Dark Knight Rises

5. Batman Returns

6. Batman

7. Batman Forever

8. Batman & Robin

9. Batman V Superman

And yes Kelvin Joseph had a number of red flags from what I remember coming into the draft process both at LSU and Kentucky

Yeah this goes to show exactly how absurd this is.  This is the quality of image we are going off of for the internet to start declaring someone a murder suspect because people think in some grainy security cam image the person looks like him.

Walker could go first or second overall and won’t even be in the building. Crazy how the draft room has lost so much relevance.

Per a source, Joseph has admitted to being at the scene but said he was not involved in the shooting.

so that video footage was legit. Whoever Eagle eyed him in that needs to go apply to the FBI, because that seemed like a huge stretch

I think it was the giant chain with his rap name on it that gave him away.

That’s the most glaring stat line you’ll see all day. He may not put up the prettiest stat lines, but the dude is a leader of men. It’s not too late

It would be if he wasn’t a cowboy. Feels like they draft all the worst dudes and nothing is beneath them!

The Dark Knight with Ledger is not only the best Batman movie, it's a movie, whenever you are scrolling through the guide and it's on, I click watch.  Ledger was fantastic as the Joker...

Based on what? There are witnesses, camera evidence, car damage, serious bodily damage. What argument will get him off the charge? There is a lawyer on the other side too and they have to be willing to bargain. I doubt they will. Plus from Westbrooks last update, the guy is sitting in jail already. Which I bet cost the guy his job.

The lawyer would argue that his client did not initiate the altercation, was followed, and feared for his personal safety.

The most important thing to follow for the Eagles between now and the draft is the Murray trade situation.  We have to root for him to be traded to the Panthers.  It keeps Murray out of New Orleans and potentially gives them 1-2 extra L's.  While the Saints do not project as a good team, they are looking at potentially 4 free wins with Carolina and Atlanta in that division.
