Good luck.  Make you're own breaks.  I always say, life is about wishing you did or wishing you didn't.  Don't look back and wish you did.  Because very rare is it that we wish we didn't take that chance.

Getting out of personal lines insurance and going into commercial lines. Much more interesting work and much better pay.

Haha...if you haven't heard Lenny Dykstra on Howard Stern in the last 5 years or so, you're missing out. The guy is a legend. It'll make you reconsider the word slot, at least....haha

8 years ago (and about $50k/year ago) I left the company was working with for a decade, while living in Altoona PA.  Had made a lot of friends at that place.  Felt like I was letting people down.  President of the division, who I was pretty close with, was very upset.  He told me I was turning my back on the "team".  I went to a competitor because things have grown stagnant, and I had no growth potential.  That set the wheels in motion and was the best professional decision I have ever made.  Fast forward to now.  Living in NC...two companies later....work from home...doing well and have full autotomy with what I do, when and where.  The guilt I felt over leaving the "team" was real, but I told him my first "team" is my family and I'll do what's best for them.  No regerts

Kinda same situation. Been with my current manager for almost 10 years, and she's likely retiring end of year. I know who the new manager will be and I don't mesh with them at all. There's no room to really grow here, and I've grown tired of the same old claims. Time to shake it up and see what happens. The nice thing is now that I have experience, I can move basically anywhere in the industry.

@e-a-g-l-e-s eagles! what's up with the bracket ??  I am looking forward to hoisting the first championship trophy.

If people want to do a daily poll on each matchup each day til we get a champion I am all for it. Lol

Slow day in the blog, so I am throwing in a conversation starter.

May be an image of 2 people, people playing football and text that says 'Jalen Reagor has a career high of 57 yards. Justin Jefferson has surpassed this mark 26 times in 33 games... Maybe the Eagles made a mistake ลง 18 VIKInGs EALIS 18'

Start a thread and a poll, should be able to use the same thread and change the poll each day, then post a link to it in the blog every morning.

We all know it's gonna be @bpac55 vs @LeanMeanGM in the finals. Let's just vote between the boards two biggest racists

Did he offer you a raise or better working conditions to make staying on the team worth your while?  If not, then he was just trying to use an emotional plea to cause you to make an irrational (non-pragmatic) decision.  I hate when folks do that and try to take advantage of their employees.

Slow down buddy.  The #1 seed in the Asian bracket is not going to go quietly.

Woah not so fast. I consider myself a dark horse in this competition. Pun intended.

Howard Eskin is such a bad interviewer.

Would have been great if Nick answered but everyone knew Nick wouldn't answer which side needs more improvement

No way should Nick have answered that. Howard is an idiot.

Listening to Lance Zierlein and he said he hasn’t talked to any teams yet that love George Pickens. He thinks he goes in the 40s.
