I couldn't agree more. If he is there at 15/18 maybe you take him depending on who else is on the board. I don't even think he's a slam dunk there. He's a run stuffing NT. I keep hearing this narrative that he can develop into a good pass rusher and that's total BS. Passing on Johnson and Hamilton for him would be a joke.

I think he's getting overrated by fans and some writers because he was a meme during the season and then put on a great workout. I think the ones making the decisions know better, or at least I hope so. I'd take him if they stay put, depends whose on the board for how much I would like it though.

My dream scenario. Which means it won't happen

Anyone see the rumors about the Packers being close to a trade for Darren Waller?

I saw something about that yesterday.  Why would the Raiders do that, ,with Waller, Adams and Renfrow that offense would be lethal.

No surprise that Howie has priced the cost of moving up in case someone slips.  He always does.  If a GM hasn’t priced moves up and down, he isn’t doing his job.

Here are my final thoughts for the Eagles

I would make a big time trade up for Sauce Gardner and Kayvon Thibodeaux if either one makes it to the 6-8 range.

I would make a small trade up in the 10-13 range for Derek Stingley, Jermaine Johnson, or Kyle Hamilton.

I would NOT trade up for any of the WR's in this draft, and I absolutely unequivocally 100 million percent would not trade up for Jordan Davis.

At 15/18 I do not want George Karlaftis, Drake London, or any of the OL with Linderbaum being the at the top of the list of do not want.

At 15/18 I do want/am ok with Williams, Booth, Olave, Dean, Wyatt, Burks, McDuffie, and Lloyd in that order.

My official prediction is that they make a slight trade up from 15, thinking 12 or 13 at the cost of a 3rd round pick. This is a crazy draft with opinions on players all over the place. There will be a player or two who falls to that range and I expect the Eagles to pounce. Hopefully it isn't for Davis. I then think they will trade down from 18, possibly all the way to the late 20's to gain more 2nd round draft capital. In that range I would expect one of the aforementioned options at 15/18 who falls, or someone like Hill, Cine, Pickens, or Watson. If they are unable to get a DE in round 1 which looks like a real possibility I would expect them to address that position in round 2 or at 83 with guys like Jackson, Bonitto, Enegbare, or Thomas. I also think they will take a MLB in this range, with guys like Walker, Chenal, Muma, and Anderson being the most likely.

Day one and two mock

Eagles trade picks 15 and 101 to the Vikings for pick 12 and select Derek Stingley JR.

Eagles trade picks 18 to the Chiefs for picks 30 and 62 and select George Pickens

Eagles take DE Drake Jackson at pick 51

Eagles take LB Chad Muma at pick 62

Eagles take S Nick Cross at pick 83

Day three they will address interior OL, interior DL, RB, and possibly take another C, S, and/or DE.

So what you're saying is JJAW could be a wanted man?

Watching path to the draft, a lot of my favorite 2nd round type guys now can be mid to late round 1 guys.

Logan Hall, Travis Jones, Quay Walker, Arnold Ebiketie, Pickens, Cine,

I wouldn't mind a double trade back and snag and combination of those guys. Plus there will be others possibly like Hall, Booth, Burks, Kyler Gordon

I don't think it's practical now.  They'd have to go up to #6 because NYG and ATL both desperately need EDGE.  Trading up to #6, they needed to keep 15, 16, and 19.

I suggested the possibility before the Saints trade of trading up for an edge rusher, but now it would cost #15 and two other draft picks.

Pretty much everyone who covers this team, to a man, loves this guy and is pushing him as the Eagles pick and in my opinion it's lazy. The thought process is he's really big and athletic and Gannon wants to run a 5 man front sometimes so it has to be him. Again, lazy in my opinion. Wyatt is a much better fit in their defense and in my opinion a better player.

Would the Panthers take 18, 2nd, later 3rd and Dillard ? Too much/little or even worth it regardless?
The key for me would be to hold onto 15 and trade back to try recoup some picks. Maybe you can get 29 and 50 for 15 from KC

Not a fan of the intangibles on him. Maybe in a trade back.

Defensive player of year, national champion, phenomenal work out, brought in by the team for a visit, Travis Jones brought in for a visit, likely to be available in the neighborhood of our pick… you seem to be working really hard. Stingley would be nice, but why would the Vikings pass on him?

The only conceivable way it gets done is if the Panthers want Dillard. 15, Dillard and a 3rd should get it done. There's zero chance we're trading multiple additional picks to go up to 6.

I would love Stingley or Sauce but not sure about trading up for them.  In today's NFL, is the difference in talent between those two and the next tier of CB that great to make a huge impact?  I don't want to trade any assets for a CB unless he's a guarantee lock down CB.

I didn't watch much of the Rams this year.  Ramsey is considered one of the top, if not the best CB in the NFL.  How big was his impact and his role in them making the SB?  Doesn't hurt to have the DL the Rams have.

No doubt, the Eagles need CB.  I also think Howie is going to be stubborn with his minimal investments made the last year to see if any of them turn in to winning lottery tickets.

So positional value is:

QB>OT>DE>WR>CB>DT>IOL>TE>S>RB>LB

Any objections? Is WR too low now?
