Wowwwwww wonder how long they've known about it. Would make the ravens trade make just a little more sense

Must've taken a discount. I'd have been all over that and I was really lukewarm on signing a 30-year-old safety.

AJ Brown- (speaking of Hurts) "I get to play with my best friend every day.”

The Front Office is really blowing this Hurts situation. All his teammates like him, they get his best friend who is a stud WR. So if he doesn’t end up working out here, there’s gonna be a whole big ordeal. Bunch of drama and taking sides. We’ve seen it before. They never learn

Eagles were never doing that

Different definition of run first. Our evaluation of Hurts’ issue is the same.  I call it one read and go.

In my example, I doubt that he even made the one read.   But my definition of 'run first' is in terms of the QB's preference.  It's pretty clear that he is far more comfortable, successful when he's running versus when he's reading and throwing.  It's not 'first' as in order, but 'first' as in priority.  When the chips are down, I think he'd much rather run than throw for a TD.

Hopkins suspended 6 games for AZ lol

Well hell,  I was hoping the honey badger would end up in Philly.

Holy smokes.  These guys are so damn stupid.

With the amount of money they're about to give Muarry and Hopkins age and current injury history, it would make sense to move on

Josh Allen actually beat a team that made the playoffs last year. Imagine that!

I will really blow your mind with this one.

Josh Allen actually beat a team that made the playoffs, in the playoffs last year.

I'm sure for a few weeks now

3/33 18 guaranteed sounds fair. Not a bargain but not over the top either.

After 5 days in the hospital, we're finally home!

I wasn't able to log into the EMB on my tablet and I wasn't able to follow the draft on TV, so the EMB was basically my only link to what was going on.

I gotta tell you though, 5 days with very little food and very little sleep isn't as easy at 53 as it was at 25.

How is she doing?

As much as I wanted the Eagles to sign him, it's putting a 2-3 year band-aid at the S position

I dont like that he gets what he wants after acting like a little brat who just threw a tantrum.

The results of my draft knowledge questionairre are in. I barely got them all scored before having to leave for work again right now. Ill post full results later. These are about as legit as the NBA lottery. Id be shocked if I didnt miscount anyones. For now, Ill just announce the winner, and will post all scores later.

The winner of the  first inaugural Chris Steuber Ultimate Draft Nerd Award is........

@Texas Eagle!!!!!

Congratulations! You can add that award in your sig if youd like. Or just throw it out and pretend this never happened.

Shout out to @Iggles25 who had the same score of 14/20 correct, but did not get either tie breaker. Texas Eagle had 14/20 plus 1 tie breaker.

Congrats!

 @Texas Eagle

2nd place here, not bad...

Lots of hours watching tape and reading scouting reports. Countless simulators. Significant decline in work productivity and efficiency.

It was worth it.

That's an odd take.  You can say that about the NFL and pretty much anything else on tv.  NCAA Tourney, Masters, Super Bowl....etc.

NFL games don't take 4 hours.  They are roughly 3 hours, and sometimes bleed over a little on occasion.  And yes, it bothers me a little that they are over 3 hours now.  The NCAA, specifically the NC game has gotten insane with their commercials and those games run over 4 hours now.  And having to get to bed to rise early... it annoys me that the game starts after 8 already.  The most recent NC Game was 3 hours 47 minutes.  They could cut about 15 minutes off the top just by keeping halftime the same as a regular game (and yes, I know about revenues, advertising and the goal to draw in people who don't actually like football to catch the game to see the halftime show).

I'm old, older than my age.  But, I have zero interest in ever watching the Masters.  Zero zip zilch.  I'd literally rather listen to the sound from the Emergency Broadcast System for 4 hours than watch people play golf and listen to the commentators speak in hushed voices.  It's a sporting event (supposedly), noise should be expected... at any and all times.  The only time there shouldn't be cheering is in the case of injury.  Other than that, noise should be the norm and the expectation.

I feel for you.  I wasn't good at little food at 25.  Great work by you, btw!
