Who will be the first team to pull off a QB trade?  Last year on January 30 the Rams acquired Jared Goff, which to this point has worked for them.

Team @D-Shiznit

Typical Sean Payton.  Without a HOF QB his team is an also-ran, and someone just explained to him the Saints are $70M over the cap for 2022

Cowboys? I’m not sure what McCarthy’s value is - especially if his staff gets jobs elsewhere.

Derek Carr to the Eagles for Jalen Hurts, #19 and a 2023 2nd.

Huh?

The first round picks the Rams traded away in 2021 were for the '22 and '23 drafts.  Each much less valuable than a current year first.

Rivera did say they will do whatever it takes to address the QB position

Wait a minute -- Singleton too?!

Well, I posted the other day what little I saw as positive about the defense, including the back 7.  Singleton got more starts than Taylor so yes, he is probably technically a starter. Heck, if you want to consider this a base 4-3-4, then SAM is a starter (Avery no z show) and that means the defense loses 6 starters (doesn’t make them quality starters) and Hargrave and Cox are one year, overpriced rentals.  Heck, Kerrigan was the #3 rotational DE most of the year and he is gone.  Ridgeway, the #4 rotational DT is likely gone too. The cupboard is so bare at D, it really matters little if the DC wants to run a 3/4 or a 4/3.  The shape of this defense is that we are looking at a two year fix at best with bandaids from free agency.  I know you were joking on possibly losing Singleton (an RFA and not a huge loss, but…..)

Yep , Dean 5ft 10 at best

Can anyone answer why this matters?

Hes a linebacker.  And hes not 5'5"

Can he play linebacker or not?

That, new logo, new team name. They are going to do something besides just trot out Heinicke.

Where did I say anything about receivers?  Are you now calling Smith and Goedert trash? Watkins? Give them either quarterback from yesterday and I think you see a very nice offense. Not to mention our oline is better than kc

Goedert drops too many and Watkins allows them to smother Smith too much.

Teams like players with length , for obvious reasons , football can be a game of inches

can he play ? Sure he can play ,you just would prefer he be a little bigger , I prefer his teammate , Tindall , over him anyway ,so I really don’t care if he measures 5 ft 6

Green would be a high quality pick. I am fine with isaac going to center

Green at 15 would be amazing.

I like Seumalo as a C.  Wonder about Driscoll as one too.  I was talking with @justrelax and suggested that Kenyon Green as an alternative to Linderbaum is a possibility as it would set the Eagles in the middle.  Driscoll has the potential to be our new Seumalo, a player who can play all interior positions and RT.

I love the possibility of Driscoll at C... but I don't know if he's going to be healthy in any season, so it may not matter.

I would really like to see Driscoll at center but we'd be going from an ironman to a guy who can't stay healthy.

exactly.

For Simpson’s lovers this actually really funny

I had to up the ante to get them to take Jalen.

Sure would be. Him, a CB and an EDGE is a nice 1st round.

Yes, that sure would be a nice first round.  It's possible to do that and get a 2nd day pick or two for 2023.

Probably not in the NFL.

I was reading some news and at the bottom of the news story that I was reading, there were 'ads' that are made to look like news links. Guess who works in my neck of the woods now!

Maybe he's teaching driveway sit-ups?

Dan Quinn is a finalist in Chicago and Denver. I don’t get it at all.

There are not many Sam Mills types out there.

Can he cover the likes of Kelce/Pitts/Kittle/Waller/Goedert types of TEs? That's my biggest concern with drafting him in the 1st. If he's there at #51 I would definitely take him, but I don't know if he is worth a 1st for the Eagles.

Overreaction by organizations to the Dallas defense going from trash in 2020 to being competent in 2021.
