No. He’s retiring and they are going to designate it post June 1st. He restructured his deal so it opens up some cap immediately, similar to what Alshon and Malik did

I think you mentioned Pitre a week or so ago and I started to look at him some more and I REALLY like him a lot. Kid is all over the field and has good size, love his versatility and that hes a heavy hitter.

Him and McKinley are two safeties who I like , I think McKinley may have best ball skills of them all IMO

What Tyreek did was bad, but compared to Watson you're talking about one victim vs 20+ victims.  Watson is a serial offender. Someone with some really major issues.

I figured he was saving himself for next season/team given the writing on the wall that he’d be cut.

To just retire seems a bit disappointing to me, as he kind of quit mid season and would’ve been a timely reinforcement after Driscoll/Herbig went down and we were playoff bound.

But seemingly all he’s done for years is rehab - so he might have just reached that stopping point mentally. Good signing overall and when healthy one of the best at his position.
