I don’t think he needs a complete rebuild but he definitely has a massive climb to improve his mechanics to where he breaks his bad habits and it becomes second nature to him. That’s why I’ve been saying since the beginning of the college football season he has a super high ceiling if you can do that. Cause he has a lot of tools and things you like or even love about him. But that’s also the reason why I think he probably has the lowest floor and all these quarterbacks coming out. I can see him being a complete bust like josh Rosen or he can eventually be a poor man’s josh Allen (doesn’t have that elite arm strength otherwise i think he’d be a surefire top 15 pick).

You have to have the right guy in place like the bills had in daboll. and you have to have the utter most belief and love in the player to take that risk too 20 in the first round. It’s why I wouldn’t take him in the top 20. I would take him at the end of the first round and definitely in the second round.

The Eagles got the cap space without designating Brooks as a June 1st designation. If they use one on Kelce they only need 1 more. It will be for Cox. I just don’t see him being on the team next year.

I’m pretty sure the next coach of the Giants is gonna be daboll. They interviewed him hours after Schoen got the job. And he worked with him with the dolphins and bills. So i understand why they would go with jones for another year to see if they could get the most out of jones with a guy who helped josh Allen immensely. However if I’m the giant since I have two top 10 packs I’m trying to trade one of those to get a 2023 pack in case Daniel Jones isn’t very good in 2022.

He has arm talent. He also can handle pre-snap reads, etc. And he took that team to the CFP. He's a far better prospect than Hurts was.

Just ran two mock drafts and had to stop both, with PFF. They had the Jets taking Pickett at #10 in one mock, then had them taking Strong at 36 in the second mock. I had adjusted the sliders before hand to be less random and draft for team needs. Yet another mark against PFF for being dumb.

Anybody have another site that doesn't blow up when you copy and paste into the Blog?

here’s his contract if he’s post June 1st cut or traded. The dead money is $12.8 mil and cap savings is $2

We have arguably the best OL coach in the league. He's able to take late round OL and make them competent starters. Unless we're getting value (ex: a 1st round pick in Dickerson falling into RD2), pass.

I don’t disagree that I think he’s a better prospect than what Jalen hurts was. I’ve felt that way all season long. And I don’t disagree with you he has inconsistencies. I think some of his inconsistencies come from inconsistent and even below average mechanics. He needs a lot of improvement to his mechanics to get the consistency you want.

And this is coming from somebody who all season has loved him. I’d take a chance depending on where i was selecting on him. But i was willing to on josh Allen in the top 10 as well. But let’s be honest it’s not a small thing to improve the mechanics and get him to break bad habits so the mechanics become second nature. The Eagles would need to have a coaching place like the bills have in daboll that could get the most out of him. I am not sure what the Eagles have that at this moment in Brian Johnson.  He could or he couldn’t be. Plus he might leave.

No. If we go Green in R1 or Kinnard/Smith R2, I'd wait on a C like Lindstrom or one of the myriad of guys available R5-6 and let Stout coach 'em up like he does everyone else. Remember, Kelce was a 5th rounder. There's C talent that late.

A guy I really like as a replacement to Kelce is Dylan Parham from Memphis. He's undersized but a great athlete and technician.

A year under Kelce and Stoutland can do wonders for him. Can probably be had for a 3rd or 4th rounder.
