Listening to Sheil, the Eagles are 31-33 since the Super Bowl. Removing the Giants and WFT who have been historically bad in that time, the Eagles are 19-29.
The last time they went 4 straight years not in the overall top 10 in DVOA, besides the past 4 years, is 1984-1987.

A perverted millionaire shouldn't have to pay for sex but I'd be a lot happier if that was the case vs being a perverted millionaire that felt it was his right to assault women. Not saying I agree with it, but............ if he's paying for it that his business, no?

I'm gonna guess though that Lurie will have someone check into it (or even is right now) before he would approve any trade.

Millionaires pay for escorts all the time. Let's settle down on the pearl clutching, please.

What Watson is alleged to have done is predatory behavior that is more about power than sex.

That doesn’t sound good.

A shame because he was a dominant player and not that old. But his body just can't keep up anymore.

This analysis is weak. Let's remove weak teams from our schedule to prop up the numbers. If you remove the bottom, you must remove the top.

DVOA thing holds up though, right?

They are still 31-33 and the big one is the DVOA, that includes beating college teams.  The point is they are a middling franchise since the Super Bowl.

Brandon Brooks to retire.  Not surprising.  Mike Garafalo is an idiot.

How?

The mental toll of those long rehabs man...

Ugh, really gonna miss that healthy Brandon on the right side. I think they should look for another higher end draft pick for RG. Driscoll or Isaac don't play at that level.

Appreciate the input. So if any quarterback , Strong? What about Pickett?

For me... its Strong above any of them... Ridder a distant 2nd - none of the others are of value to consider where they'd need to be taken.

Similar to Luck. Probably just couldn't deal with the constant back and forth from healthy to injury to quickly

Sounds like another QB I know of.

Both have a stronger arm and see the field better than the guy you are likely thinking of.  They also both hang in the pocket better, though they also have escapability.

I'd take both of those guys over the guy we currently have, but don't want to commit long term to any of those 3.

Gives us some cap space. Go and get Russ

Man, I loved Brandon Brooks. Such a shame his body broke down. He was a monster RG.

We save both our june 1st designations. Brooks will just file the paperwork to retire after june 1st now.

Cox is next guys. He will be restructured and traded or restructured and designated a post june 1st cut

Cause I Said.  It was either he or the ding dongs on the radio who theorized that this was about Brooks ultimately being traded elsewhere.

Oh. I'd say radio then, don't see anything wrong with what Garoffolo said. For whatever reason they interpreted "signaling his end as an Eagle" as trading vs the obvious writing on the wall of retiring.

I wouldnt be surprised if Cox restructures and we trade him to Seattle with Hurts and picks for Wilson.

Kelce ??  His contract extension was set up in a way to accommodate a post June 1 move if he retires.

I hear what you are saying, but at the same time, old enough that this is always a very distinct possibility... or that the decline in the game comes and makes the player a lesser version of themself.    I hate to say it, but this was 100% predictable.  In fact, I predicted it when he got that big extension and the huge deal.   It was a very risky deal, and made worse by the way they kept pushing money off.   Nice of Brooks to do the team a favor and agree to this new deal.   If he had kept the old one... he'd have really hammered the salary cap.  (BTW, I give Howie no credit for getting out of this deal, because it was stupid in the first place.  Maybe he had a handshake agreement with the agent/player at the time they signed it... but he shouldn't get credit for mostly digging out of deep hole that he created for himself.)

Not quite that extreme, but still... he created the mess.  It nice of him to try to undig the hole... just like he did with Jeffery and Jackson.  He gave them bad deals too... and got them to agree to a smaller hit than the original deal, but was still a significant amount of dead money and for significant amount of time.

You dont know what your talking about San Fran is a great city. best city ever. everyone knows it, trust me, I know cities.

Not even close. Not every city has a website to notify the government to on where to clean up human poo. Not every city allows clean shoot up sites. not every city allows looting and shoplifting. Last I heard they dont even care about crack.  I can go on and on.

So they clean up the poo and don't prosecute drug crimes?
