This is where bad drafting gets you

And of them, only Seumalo, Lovato and Elliott would be considered in their 'prime'.   The other 4 are on their way out.  That was just 4 years ago.  We should have players from that game who are ready to step into their new roles as the older players moved on.  Instead, they have FINALLY moved on from the players that should have been gone before, but couldn't because they had no one behind them ready to step in.

Lol he just went on a rant about how they take a 3% sales tax towards the homeless, yet it's completely untrue....but "somebody" told him this, so it must be true.....

No bro, he was there. He knows a lot about cities "trust him". He knows jack about crap.

This is the NFL. It happens to every franchise.

Yes... but not to this extent.  They should still have some players (plural) on the roster from the 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 draft.  Who do they have?

Only Seumalo.

Honestly, I rarely watch college and rely on you guys and your opinions. I do the mocks to get a rough idea where players "should go" (and I like to screw around with them). He was bpa according to pfn there.

You'll have to see the PC.  He spoke at length about Philly, The Eagles and the Fans...Then he got emotional when talking about Stout.  The quote picture doesn't do the entire PC justice.

I plan to watch later.

Ok... I'll say it.  They throw this around too frequently.   Brooks was great... when he played.  He had 4 great years with the team.  4.   IMHO to be counted amongst the best to ever wear the colors, you need more than that.

That said, he's a great guy, and he was great from 2016 - 2019.  3 time Pro Bowler.  Super Bowl Champion.  But, I'd rather have a little more on the resume before elevating to that level... Best OG in Eagles' history?  I suppose.   Shawn Andrews would also get a nod as a 2 time Pro Bowler, and 1 time First Team All-Pro.  Both have the problem of injuries.  Brooks had a longer NFL career... but as Eagles, I'd be hard pressed to say that Brooks was actually better than Andrews.  Just 1 more year of play from Brooks than Andrews.

You think we won't circle back around again and rehash it 17 more times?

The 2018 Patriots have one starter on offense (Mason) still on the team. They have 4 starters on defense (Guy, Wise, Hightower, McCourty). They still have Slater on ST.
The 2016 Patriots have one starter on offense (Mason) still on the team. They have 2 starters on defense (Hightower, McCourty). They still have Slater on ST.
The 2015 Broncos have zero starters left on offense. They have zero starters left on defense. They do have their kicker.

This is just how the NFL works.

Kenny Pickett for the Steelers might be the easiest match in the draft.  The question is, how far would PIT move up to get him?  I think there's going to be 3 QBs taken in the top 11 picks.  WFT for sure, DEN for sure if they can't get a FA, I think either CAR or ATL as well.

I guess those guys are off. Baldy coming on soon too. DJ thinks we should go for Russel Wilson

Whats the average career for a NFL player? 2.5-3.5 years or something like that. That's the length of a career, not just on a single team. Rosters are turning over probably close to 25% a year. It would be interesting to see the average number of players on a team that have been with them 4+ years. 3 seems to be on the lower side, but I can't imagine it would be much higher.

I think Rodgers is going to the Steelers

Why are you narrowing it down to "starters"? They still have David Andrews, Ja"whaun Bentley, Trent Brown, Joe Cardona, Brian Hoyer, JC Jackson, Ted Karras, Brandon King, Kyle Van Noy, Deatrich Wise Jr, Jonathan Jones, James White from 2018.

Because those are the key players. Greg Ward was on our practice squad in 2017, but who cares.

Also, in your example, Kyle Van Noy,  Brian Hoyer, Trent Brown and Ted Karras LEFT THE TEAM and come back. For the most part, they're not core pieces or a reflection of great team-building.

some facts.

50% of inmates(meaning something you've done actually warranted jail time) will be back in jail within 5 years of being released.

70% of inmates under 25 will end up back in jail. 16% of over 60 will end up back in  jail(makes sense)

70% of inmates with  crimes convictions with guns are likely to go back to jail

32% of rearrest are from violent crimes on their 1st conviction

Drug Trafficking was 23% and Larceny was 17%.

End of the day, scumbags are gonna scumbag and you need stiffer Penalties  .

Being someone that has been to jail I'm going to respectfully disagree about scumbags need stiffer penalties.

Jail/prison is a joke, no one is getting better in jail unless they take it upon themselves to do so. Jail/prison is Tax payer paid adult day care.

Majority of people in jail are good people who have made bad decisions in their lives.

One of my cell mates was on Utahs top 10 most wanted, he had a complicated past and a long rap sheet, hed been in and out of prison and jail since he was a teenager, he'd done long stretches and short ones and had crimes from petty theft or drug possession to aggravated assault. When I was with him he was in for possession of meth and despite that he was a good person, who had from a young age been in a violent environment and made lots of poor choices.

All the time he did in jail all the prison time and stiff penalties never did much to help him change or get better, locking people up then releasing them right back into a culture or situation that contributed to the crimes in the first place isnt helpful.

Whenever  someone would get out the whole pod would always say," see you next week" and sadly I saw too many come back a week or so later on some stupid drug charge or something else stupid.

Not too mention when one is released and on probation any probation violation no matter how small can send one back for 3 months, which is why a lot of inmates ask for longer sentences instead of probation.

It's a messed up system perpetuated by a bunch of messed up societal factors, change/improve those factors then maybe we can talk about penalties.

He can’t get out of round 1 in the nfc.  He’s going nowhere with that roster in the afc.

The whole point was never "key players", it was "players". Greg Ward was not on the active roster as a player for the SB, that's why he doesn't count. Not because he's not a "key player".

The second part is irrelevant. Who cares if they left in between? Patriots obviously wanted them back. They were on the SB team in 2018, they are currently on the team. Depth players matter too.

They are so beyond boring, I could barely make it through the Jeremiah segment.

If he wanted to go to the afc the spot to go to would be Denver based off team around him but the division is a killer. Apparently there’s a rumor Adams and rodgers would both like to go to Denver. That offense with rodgers along with jeudy, Adams, fant and Sutton and Williams running the ball would be really good. And their defense is solid. Downside of that you are in the same division as mahomes and herbert and also have the raiders

What's even the point? Is there anyone from the 2017 team you still wish was here? Ertz? Peters? It was an interesting team that fizzled out quickly.
