His career run/pass attempt ratio is 836/4,735 or 17.7% This past season, however, he was 43 runs against 400 pass attempts or 10.8%. Probably a clear sign his game going forward will be much more from the pocket. He was 64.8% completions over the course of the season despite those 2 games coming off injury where he was just 34/66. Without those two games of rust he was 67.4% Hard pass on Wilson.
February 4, 20223 yr Guess I am the only one that watched the Shrine game last night. Great game for viewing potential third day picks. I hate that they don’t allow motion and only zone. Misleads about the receivers. For example, Tay Martin looked good in the holes in the zone. At Oklahoma State, I thought he had so so hands, limited route tree and not good separation speed. The East team played awful on the OL. That meant Rambo didn’t have much of a chance to shine. Coan had much better protection and continues to look like Minshew 2.0. Disappointing performance by Crum and Purdy. Who the F is Perry, the Ivy League QB from Brown. Impressive performance. Skylar Thompson is just fun to watch. Pure dual threat QB from K State. On the OLs, I was impressed with Hadyn Howland from SMU. Seemed bigger. Playing C. He is a jack of all trades OL but strictly IOL if he makes it in the NFL. Liked the performance of Volson at OT. On D it is hard to say much about the DBs because of the requirement to play zone. At LB Diego **** from Navy got defensive MVP. Day 3 flyer. Gunter looked bigger than I thought he was. Don’t see a lot of bend. @greend posted a mock a couple of days ago. He grabbed Fayed with his last pick. Watched him last night. Aggressive player. Too upright at times and engulfed by the blocker. Did not see a lot of moves but does seem quick. Potential SAM but saw nothing from him in coverage. I would say @greend probably got good value where he picked him. I will watch the game again with the remote to target some players like Lindstrom and some of the Ss.

I was going to catch the Shrine Game, but forgot and got caught up watching the Mixed Doubles Curling. Curling comes around only so often.

Given Smith’s stellar performance while Wilson was out, do you see Carroll resigning Smith and giving him the reigns? So other than Wilson, the only other QB on the roster is Eason. I don’t get why folks think Wilson to Philly is realistic.

I don’t get why folks think Wilson to Philly is realistic. Wilson isn't coming to Philly; his wife wouldn't have any interest. It was widely reported last offseason Wilson wanted to be moved and gave a list of 4 teams he would waive his no-trade clause to go -- Raiders, Bears, Turds, Saints. It's also been widely reported as of 3 weeks ago that Wilson intends to explore his options this offseason. SEA would have no interest in trading Wilson, but it's quite possible Wilson could take the Matt Stafford approach toward staying there.

He wants to go to a team that is in a better position to win. I don't think he could actually force a trade but it's not like Seattle has completely shut it down.

Frankly the nets lose a lot of leverage in the offseason when harden becomes a free agent. Already reported he’s not happy in Brooklyn. So he could leave for nothing or they work on a sign and trade where they likely get less than they would now.

That's what I am worried about... and with Harden as a FA, what assurance do the Sixers have that they aren't renting him and losing two young pieces in the process?

I do not understand Ciara not having interest in coming to Philly, but would go to Chicago ?? It is a 2 hour drive from Philly to New York. And living locally, there is plenty of chatter about Wilson being traded, and Philly is mentioned quite a bit. I think this is just a made up narrative from folks who do not want to trade for him.
February 4, 20223 yr Been saying Wyatt is a first rounder DJ on Wyatt Wyatt did exactly what I thought he would do here in Mobile. He showed how dynamic and explosive he is, particularly in the one-on-one pass-rush drills. His combination of quickness and power was on display. He looked like a first-round pick.

I wouldn’t give either of them tbh. Harden at 33 isn’t harden at 28. If he was younger i think more realistic to ask for that. It’s a risk. I’m guessing cause harden’s people said he wants to play with embiid. he and morey are really good friend so they likely believe he would. I’m guessing likely offer him a max after the trade. At his age hard for harden to turn down max money.

I'm on board, for the right price. I think Wilson still has 4 good years left.
February 4, 20223 yr Forget his finger what’s his attitude? Mortgage the future for a 33 year old that can retire at anytime? Coming to a team with worse offensive weapons? No thanks. Hard pass. If we are mortgaging the future at least do it for 26 year old Watson.
