That wasn't his point. He was suggesting I missed something from an analytical perspective. I've acknowledged if the allegations are true, he's a scumbag. That isn't anything new.

If people don't want him, they don't want him. That's fine. Not a whole lot of debate to be had for personal preferences on morality.

I have a personal sense that morality is not entirely measured by personal preferences. We would not have laws or commandments were this not true. We’re getting into Locke, Rousseau, Hobbes, territory. Maybe Plato, as I think on it. Many religions.

Socrates, Descartes, and I say no to Watson. My associates aside, I cannot root for such a scumbag. I would not root for another team but I would wish disaster upon the Eagles. Getting Watson would be a Faustian bargain.

I walked away from the Eagles for two years when they signed Vick. Perhaps I take my sense of morality too seriously but there it is.

If the Eagles trade for Watson and you want to do that, feel free. I couldn't care less how other people conduct their fandom in sports. It has nothing to do with me. That's their business.

I've walked away from the Eagles before, as I have all sports. When teams/sports stop entertaining me, I start finding other things to do with my time that I do find entertaining.

Whoa.

Whatever team traded for Wilson was going to be "the only team he wanted to go to" as is the narrative after every trade after the fact.

I know this isn't even possible per NFL rules I don't think, but in a hypothetical scenario if a non Denver team offered 10 first round picks for Wilson.... he'd be there. Seattle would've gone to Wilson and said this trade would set us up for life, whatever you need to get comfortable with this team, we'll figure it out for you whatever it takes.

Seattle would figure out whatever Wilson needs to get comfortable with the hypothetical team that he'd be traded to?  What are they going to be making trades for that team on their behalf with the 10 draft picks they just got from them?

Over $17 million/year for Landry, damn.

Who's in the bargain bin at DE this year?

Makes sense. Getting old and opens up $17M when they are starting a rebuild.

DAM, they are blowing that place up.

Im sure they increased their season ticket prices as well. Wonder how they are feeling right now as a fan base.

Im just shocked they cant find anyone to trade for him at all. Unless this report is to get teams to start calling and offer up something.

Seattle’s drafts good and will rebuild quick thanks to broncos of course tho they will have to find a QB after this years ranking

If it’s pending Wilson’s approval it’s not like he forced the deal. It’s a fair deal. It’s more than the Rams paid for Stafford but it’s essentially just one more 22nd round pick.  Fant is also a decent player.

oh. wow.

Would Wagner be a good fit here?

Can imagine he'll draw quite the interest in FA.

Wilson already approved. And they get to take a Lock making nothing compared to what Goff was making.

he would be the ideal fit here but what can you pay a 31 year old LB who is still super productive? Dont think we are in position to be the team that is overpaying him on the back end of the mega contract he deserves.

He's not the same player anymore  and very expensive. Not sure if the team signing him is responsible for any of his contract.

They were and so was Dallas and New Orleans, and it was on record from his agent so it wasn’t pot stirring. I think they mean Broncos were the only team interested in him that Wilson wanted to go to.

Weather wise coming from a dome to Soldier Field would suck, but being the best QB in Bears history (not saying much) would be worth it.

They have the picks to get Watson.

Had too much fun. Got a NYG 1st and 5th and Vegas 2nd trading down.

Do we know if Howie made an offer but was hung up on because Wilson didn't want to come here?

So is anyone left from that 2014 Seahawks Superbowl team?

They didn't last long. LoB was quickly dismantled and the offense never had an Oline

Wonder if the fans will go back into the shadows after coming out of the woodworks back then lol
