Grab Bobby Wagner. Perfect for philly. Old LB in the downswing

Not saying much but he'd be an upgrade x1000 from what we have.

Rather have Justin Reid, especially since he will be cheaper.

I would have loved to be in the room where Wagner’s 70 year-old head coach told him his best days were behind him 😂

And Ogbah. Or Turay

A FA class of Reid, Turay, Kyzir White makes a lot of sense. Just need to figure out the cheap WR to add.

Zach Pascal?

Not surprised. Seattle going for a youth movement.

Over $17 million/year for Landry, damn.

Who's in the bargain bin at DE this year?

My wish list in FA:

Charles Harris, DE

DJ Chark, WR

Justin Reid, S

Thats my reasoning for the theory on drafting a QB every year in the 3rd to 6th round to increase your chances on a hit. Even when you hit you keep drafting a QB so when one QB wants that massive contract after the 3rd year you have others in the mix to take over and trade away the successful QB for bookoo picks.

The true QB Factory.

Some things that you hear in your head shouldn’t be typed.

Whoever started "Eagles first for DK” needs to stop. Would be horrendous.

I believe it might have been Joe Giglio on WIP.  Was listening while driving home from work.  I know some here still lament drafting JJAW before him, but not worth trading a 1st for a WR who is best at mid/long range passes when our QB is statistically one of the worst in the NFL on those range of throws.  He won't get as much YAC having to slow down to catch a Hurts' pass.

I'm also not a fan of drafting Treylon Burks in the 1st.  Ran 75% of his routes from the slot and his 3-cone was not so good.  Don't think he'll be enough of a productive outside WR in the NFL and a 1st is too high to draft a big slot WR.  You can get a guy like that in the middle rounds.  If we keep all our 1st Round picks then one should be a DE/edge and the other 2 should be any combo of DT/CB/S and hopefully we trade back with 1 of them to get more draft capital.

Expensive - Cooper, Robinson

Mid level - Chark, JJSS, Kirk

Cheap - Pascal, Pringle, C. Wilson

Am I missing anybody...

I'd rather have Watkins than Pascal. Pascal blows, would be a total waste of a signing.

I could see Kirk getting as much as Robinson with Robinson coming off a down year. I think Robinson will get less than people here expect. We'll see.

Whatever they do, I hope they don't pay a premium A price for a B level player. That's how you lose free agency.

Sign Wagner

Trade #19 for DK

15 - Ojabo

Trade 16 for an early 2nd and a 2023 1st

Early 2nd - Carson Strong

Sad day. We are a Russell Wilson Trade and Aaron Rodgers signing closer to having Hurt as the starter next season😢

Wilson will be a tier between cheap and mid. Crowder will be mid. Old guys like Green, Hilton, Sanders and Watkins will be cheap. OBJ and Fuller are wild cards.

That would make sense. Trade a first for a one year rental who is a bit of a diva and skill set is the complete opposite of the current QB who will just walk in FA in a year. Brilliant.

Back the Brinks truck up for Marcus Williams. Make him the focal point of FA.

Best Edge Rusher available at 15: Walker (fingers crossed), Ojabo, Johnson

CB at 16: Booth, Jr., McDuffie, or Elam (think Sauce and Stingley are gone by then)

Use the other pick as trade bait for a low 1st RD/early 2RD pick and 2023 early pick(s). Go BPA. Maybe LB/DT.

Draft WR. Pierce is my guy right now in RD3. Maybe Watson or Ross. May have to trade up in RD3 to get them.

Anyone who still thinks Howie will not swing for the fences for a QB is out of his mind.

Watson will be an Eagles if he wants to be, Howie will trade for him without hesitation.

Howie has made it clear he's still rebuilding.

Wonder if the "offer" for Wilson was PR, given Howie does his homework and knew Wilson wouldn't waive for Philly.

It's not a matter of being in love with Hurts, it's realism about this team being two years away from being good enough to win with Wilson or another "name" QB.

I mean do you give up 3 1sts and a 2nd (the equivalent of Denver's offer since our 1st is #16) to go 10-7 and 11-6 and lose in the WC instead of 9-8?

People grossly overestimate the value of a good QB, otherwise SF would have never made it to the NFC championship, Carolina, Philly winning a SB, etc.

Almost any QB who doesn't have elite talent surrounding him can be shut down by a good defense, see Mahomes once Hill and Kelce were taken away from him.

The good QBs who go deep into the playoffs tend to be on very good teams, like Brady on TB. Stafford was the same QB he was in Detroit, just on a much better team.

Such  BS. Look at the last 25 SB winning QBs see if you notice a trend.

Cool.

How many "bad" QBs have won a Superbowl in comparison to good ones?

BLG reporting. So most likely not true or at least only part of the story.

I see what you’re trying to do here. But The no matter what is more so when it comes to a trade package. As in even if you could get Watson for only a 2nd, I still don’t support it. But sure, to fit your hypothetical that absolutely wouldn’t happen, if all 20+ Women came forward & said they lied and it was a giant conspiracy, I’d probably change my mind.

Fair enough

Kinda puts a damper on the Eagles being sold on Hurts arguments too. Womp womp.
